Yes, WE EUROPEANS speak other languages, especially our european languages, we're not like Americans lol. Greets to Mexico from Europe (from Croatia, neighbour country to Luka's country Slovenia).
Terra Europa while I think it would be great if Americans did focus more on other languages, it does make sense that it would be more common for Europeans to speak multiple languages. America is a larger geographical area, and for poorer Americans who cannot afford international travel they may never even go to a place where people speak a different language in their entire lives. Europe meanwhile has many different distinct cultures and languages existing within relatively close proximity to each other, so pragmatically it becomes far more important for them to be multilingual. I think learning another language in childhood can be very helpful for cognitive development among other things, so it would certainly be wise for American parents to help their kids learn different languages even if it isn't as pragmatically necessary
Even I know americans usually don't speak anything but english, always is funny to see how their minds blow when they see people speaking more than one language. Most people in Europe speaks more than 1 language (I speak 3) and it's normal. Anyway, Porzingis and Doncic speak Spanish specially well but it has a reason. Both of them arrived to Spain at a very young age (Luka 13 - Kristaps 15) and both of them had to go to school in Spain as long it's mandatory to be at school at least untiul you are 16 when you live there. When you are a teenager going to school in a foreign country, you learn so fast that you'll eventually end speaking almost like a native. In addition to that, Kristaps spent a lot of time with the family of his former teammate and best friend Willy Hernangomez (Hornets). He was almost his third son (the second is Juancho, who also is at the NBA in Minnesota). Spending so much time with a native family forces you to improve.

Yes, WE EUROPEANS speak other languages, especially our european languages, we're not like Americans lol. Greets to Mexico from Europe (from Croatia, neighbour country to Luka's country Slovenia).
👍💪

Agree. I'm from Latvia a big KP and Luka fan.
I think learning another language in childhood can be very helpful for cognitive development among other things, so it would certainly be wise for American parents to help their kids learn different languages even if it isn't as pragmatically necessary

lucas zegarra lol true. But neymar didn’t grow up in Spain or France. Luka was in Spain since he was like 12 😂
I´m freaking blown away!!! I didn´t know they spoke so perfectly spanish. Unbelieveble! They sound spanish.
in europe the average person knows 2 language and with them moving to the america its expected they know at least 3
I wish I could speak something else than just English, I'm pretty sure Kobe can speak fluent Italian and Spanish
it is never too late to learn
That woman is concerned luka didn't undestand the question, she must be new or she don't do homeworks.
