Excellent Vid... Thanks for showing how gear reduction works.... It makes understanding the mechanics of the 100 ton earth moving trucks you see in rock and sand quarries work.... (given enough gear reductions, you can make a washing machine motor move a railroad freight car...) Again, Thank you! Gordon
Is it possible to have single input and single output with automatic shift in gears? Or may be with clutch..? (But input should be given to only one shaft. First Sun gear).
Red (looks orange to me) casing is indeed hard-bolted to the outer case, and together they form the planet carrier of the planetary gearset. If the outer case is held stationary, the effect is simple reduction in speed from the sun gear (1st shaft shown) to the ring gear (cup with protruding spline). Stepped planet pinions make the reduction ratio less than a simple unstepped planetary gearset with the same sun and ring gear sizes. The full machine design (not shown here) could allow the outer case to rotate, taking full advantage of the planetary-gear characteristics.
When I was drafting in the 1970s this kind of graphics existed only in the world of science fiction. CNC , CAD , CAM have now 3D printing is so awesome, I can't get enough of it!
hello a great job i would like to know if you can pass me the plans to be able to design the same, i am starting with the animation in inventor and i would like to be able to make a planetary gear thanks
Thanks. Gear diameter is function of teeth number. There are few extra conditions for planetary gears. You can find it in this book "Gears and Gear Drives By Damir.T..Jelaska".
Those planet gears look almost just like the ones I am making right now at work. Mine are helical with a hole through it though. Cool seeing how they work.

Wao very nice video
Too much informative

Fine 👍👍

awesome job! what program did you use to do this?
Autodesk Inventor

Great Job! Is your text in English? I would like to have a look on it!
Hi, sorry but whole text is in Slovak language.
It is not planetary gearset. Planetary gearset is here ua-cam.com/video/lAJPCZZyGZs/v-deo.html .
Esta mui bien
Quero ver um vídeo da montagem do freio da e215b de tração.
This makes no sense at all how is it that the red casing has the ability to move? the placement of the gears are fixed.

Older need for speed soundtrack? Making me nostalgic.
Damn, you made this on inventor?! That's really good! Especially the Helical gears!
As a marine engineer, this video is very usefull in learning marine steam turbine reduction gear.
I am doing research on gear and cam follower design. I like your planetary gear box.
How is the ring gear joined to the output shaft? Is there a suppressed spline, press-fit, etc?
haz uno para un motor electrico de flujo axial , factor de reduccion 1:5 para 90Nm
Fantastic. However, I was a bit frustrated when you took away the coloring for the gears -- that really helped distinguish what was going on.
Great, Thanks a lot !!!
Music from Need for Speed 2 :D

hello, what is the formula of the section circle diameter of the ring gear (outermost gear) used in the planetary gear system?
An explanation wouldn't of hurt yea know..
Did you figure it out?
Modeling and Animation Softwares name, please?
Autodesk Inventor

Loved the NFS2 showcase music :) also nice presentation (thats what I actually came for)
VonSonnig I supposed that NF3 hot pursuit one.
Dang!!! Go Forth and make Cool Stuff!
Dang !!! Ísť a robiť skvelé veci !
Well done, you should be proud of you work
Why, shouldn't it be?
BELT SYSTEM CHANGING GEAR IS SIMPLE
Perfect learning process.
could you write by english
good...How did you calculate the number of teeth on each gear and gear diameter?
Thanks. Gear diameter is function of teeth number. There are few extra conditions for planetary gears. You can find it in this book "Gears and Gear Drives By Damir.T..Jelaska".

Very nice job
ok
Nice work Karol.
what is the advantage of using this hydraulic axle with planetary gear? please explain !!
Hi, it's only mechanical transmission. Lubrication is not yet included in this concept. Thats only blind hole in central shaft.
Very nice 👌👌👌👌 video
Planetary spindles
With integrity valuable clutches
NFS III hot pursuit ))
I want to know how planetary gear are use as input or is it possible to use like this.
Hi, I'm not sure If I understand your question. ("p. gear are use as input")
tulip tulip this is used in electric drills
Planetary
OK, what is its application?
Its a planetary gearset.
@@anderstermansen130 That's what it _is,_ he wants to know what it *_does._*
