this is probably a weird question lol, but I'm curious in the first skype call did you address the host mom and dad by their names, obviously there are cultural differences being African in South Africa and it's a major respect thing

About the interview situation, o interview’a ke your agency or the embassy ..?
First with the agency before your profile goes then it’s really short, then by the families, and once you have matched and you have a visa appointment you’ll go in for a short interview at the embassy.
Hello , I've found my host family, in Australia, he told we should have a conversation with him in Whatsapp is it okay to videocall him through this or its just Skype only
You can decide what’s comfortable for you, it can be with Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp, MS teams etc
hii, idk if this question will sound rude or weird, but my preference would be at most 2 children who are in school (like over 8 years old). what would i say during interviews if i’m not rly willing to pair with a specific family that doesn’t really meet those preferences? i hope i don’t sound picky and annoying but i just really wouldn’t like working with such young children.
No it’s totally understandable, what I would suggest is on your profile state the ages of the kids and when you go into the interviews even if it’s not the age rage you want just talk to them it also helps with talking to other families it’s good practice but don’t tell them that if their kids are younger but I do suggest that you filter it on your profile I hope that helps ❤️

idk where you are in the US where all the houses have cameras lol Ive been here my whole life and only see them in Airbnb's. A lot of ppl have camera on their doorbells but not even half the population has that cus those are expensive.😂 lol anyways really appreciated the info I want to become an aupair in EU and travel around EU but my family is very nervous about it
Some homes especially ones with young children have camera's its annoying I am super glad that my last family didn't have any which made it comfortable to live in the home ❤️ babe I am wishing you all the best ❤️

I'm asking because I have matches in Austria and Netherlands and I'm nineteen years old. The only reason I'm having a gapnyear is because my points are one point lower than the module I wanted to study.

I put my studies on hold while doing this and am doing other things on the side, but I do suggest that you do research in what it is that you want to be doing 🥺

I thought that its better now because covid restrictions are better than before 🥺
It takes time love. I almost got discouraged coz I didn’t even get reviewed until like 3 months after my profile was up. I have 2 interviews today and tomorrow😅 just hang in there.
