Lol! Closing phrase is a good idea Uncle D 😁 got some suggestions for your closing phrase. The Indonesian for "Peace out, my friends! Have a good night!" Is quite accurate..it is "Tenang, teman-teman, selamat malam!". But we don't really use "Peace out!" as goodbye phrase, so it sounded like you're trying to get some rowdy indonesian to be more peaceful before you wish them a healthy evening..lol Suggestions : keep the ".....teman-teman! Selamat malam!" Just change the "Tenang" or "Peace out" to : - Saya undur diri (literal meaning : I'm backing out) - Saya pamit (lit : I'm saying goodbye) - Sehat selalu (lit : good health to you always) Example : "Sehat selalu, teman-teman! Selamat malam!" (Good health to you always my friends, have a good night) To my fellow indonesian: I considered adding "dadah, teman2" or "Daaah" and some other phrases like that, but I think it would sound too cute for Uncle D, wouldn't it? 😅 lol

9:51 Yes, you can do that. In fact, you can simplify sentence in conversation into 1 or 2 word. For example: Person 1 : Kamu mau pergi kemana? (Where are you going?) Person 2 : Aku mau membeli makanan. (I'm going to buy food.) You can simplify it into. Person 1 : Kemana? Person 2 : Beli makan. Those 2 conversation is pretty much have the same meaning. Oh, if you notice, "beli makan" is both verb, it literally mean "buy eat", and yet it's still work and we know exactly what it really mean.
This is hilarious, you made my day 😀 As Indonesian learning English, and trying to learn other languages, I understand your unwillingness (or laziness) to learn Bahasa Indonesia 😀
As someone who understand a little bit of different language, it's so interesting to see how foreigners view our language. Because when I tried to comprehend it from foreigners point of view, it's almost impossible to learn. Yet so easy at the same time.

The grammar of Indonesian is really easy, because Indonesian enriches the meaning of speech not at the sentence level, but at the word formation level.
We are simple peoples, that is why our national language so simple and easy to learn. Uncle D, stay about 2-3 mounths in Indonesia and you'll be speak Indonesian so well.
03:29 dan pada akhirnya bahasa Belanda diserap menjadi bahasa jawa dan bahasa nasional karena orang jawa susah mengeja, jadi ya sebisanya saja, contohnya: Broog = Brug = jembatan kecil Spoor = Sepur = kereta api Fabriek = Pabrit/Pabrik = pabrik produksi Stroom = Setrum = listrik Potlood = Potlot = pensil Jerrycan = Jerigen = Jerigen/botol tempat cairan (biasanya bahan bakar minyak) Fiets = Pit = sepeda onthel Zerbet = Serbet = kain lap Duiten = Duwit/Duit = uang Odol = Odol = pasta gigi itu baru segelintirs saja, masih banyak sebenarnya.
The superiority of Indonesian is that after memorize the vocabs (Especially the verbs), you can use it as a root to any kind of form like present, past, future tense, passive-active, possesive etc just by slap in the right suffix
6:29 That mindblown moment 🤯 And yes, we do repeat the word for plural, things that you can count. Though you don't have to repeat and could use "beberapa" = "some", "kebanyakan" = "most", "semua" = "all" to quantify.
We Indonesian also learns english in school because english is the "money language", which means we could be more successful than we already is because we understand and speak English, that means, standard Indonesian people knows at least 3 languages: their native regional language, Bahasa Indonesia, and English.
Some Indonesian are polyglot as they can speak (1) Bahasa Indonesia, (2) English, and (3) mother languages e.g. Sundanese, Javanese, Bataknese, Balinese, etc. I said mother languages as a plural bcs usually the secondary languages has 2 or 3 languages for different usages and to whom they're speaking to (i.e. Javanese Kromo, Javanese Madya, and Javanese Ngoko). So if one is a Javanese, he/she might be able to speak (1) Bahasa Indonesia (2) English (3) Javanese Kromo (4) Javanese Madya (5) Javanese Ngoko and some (depending on the geographical location) can also speak other ethnic's language, so (6) Sundanese/Madurese 💥

Hii uncle.. I'm so laughing very much with ur hopeless. 😂😂😂. But don't worry uncle, the Indonesian here will bring you a guidance and you will happy if you're here. 👍👍
12:45 FYI, even the native Indonesian has some difficulties mastering those forms. 🤣 14:13 the interesting part of Bahasa Indonesia, for daily coversation someone only need to learn the root words. the affixation is use to make the words sound more formal. in daily coversation, speaking like that is sound awkward. so basically most of Indonesian people commonly use the ROOT WORDS. and interestingly, someone only need to learn about 300-400 words for daily coversation. FYI, the Portuguese-Malay dictionary in 15th century was containing only 400 words, and that's sufficient for communication in trading. 16:25 for short just put a question mark such as "duduk?" (wanna take a sit?). another example: "minum?" (would you like to drink?). or "kopi?" (do you want/like a cup of coffee?) English: "I've told you before", "I've warned you", "see that?" Indonesian : "kan?" so simple, isn't it? 😊 17:28 I think those examples are for advanced learners. 🤣
The English user in Indonesia increase now. So if you go to Indonesia you got no problem as long as you are not goes to a very rural area. In rural area the mostly still use their native mother tounge.
Trust me, if you are foreigner (Bule) come to Indonesia and you try to speak Bahasa Indonesia the people would be happy. 12:51 most of indonesian people would understand if you just put the Root word together without affix or prefix 13:51 most indonesian people understand what you say, the problem is that they never use it in real life communication. In fact, there is english lesson in school for 12 years and almost every kids attends school, even though a lot of them they don't like english lesson. But, it never hurt to use any tanslation app, device, or even vocabulary books. Have fun, see you in Indonesia.
I think most of foreigner that went to bali, they can speak and listen to indonesian less than 1 year i guess, if you keep hear indonesian speaking, you will definitely be good at this languange

Moment of silence for those who dilligently studied the formal Indonesian language just to find out that in daily basis we butcher every existing rules in Indonesian language and turns it into jumbled mess of bahasa gaul 😁. My biggest tips is to actually come here and have a good conversation with native who understand english, it will save you a lot of brain works to understand all of the bahasa gaul nonsense.
Also, the affix "me" in Indonesia often changes following the initial of the word in front of it. Like for example, me-buat, because it's a B, then an M is added in between of 'me' and 'buat'. So instead of mebuat, it's membuat (this also applied to the letter V). And then if it's a vocal word it's 'ng' instead of M like the B case (this also works for words start with G, H). And then there are these letters, K T P S, that'll be gone and replaced by other letters when they met the affix 'me-'. For K, it's replaced to ng (for example, instead of menkubur, it's mengubur) and then P, it's replaced to m (so instead of mepenggal, it's memenggal) T is replaced with n (menulis instead of metulis) and S replaced with ny (meNYeramkan instead of meseramkan). sorry if my explanation is hard to understand, english is not my first language. also, i'd like to be corrected if i'm wrong.
Malay was the mother tongue in the past, but now it is no longer used because the vocabulary in the language is developing rapidly, from the results of the struggle of patriots in Indonesia to escape from colonialism, one nation, one country And that one language is Indonesian If you visit Indonesia, the local people here will be happy to teach you to speak our language.. seriously..bro 😁👍 I'm proud of you bro..keep presenting positive content to your channel 👍💪

learning indonesian language is like learning chemist for the first time. at first you are given some very easy lesson, easy to remember and easy to do. and then, you suddenly given hardcore material to study that frying your brain due to immense info you must learn and remember
Don't worry sir, many Indonesians can speak English, especially in the city. Even though not a lot of common people can understand English. Because, as the narrator said, we at least speak 2 languages daily. The 1st is our native regional language (our mother tongue) and Bahasa Indonesia. As a Sundanese myself, I speak Sundanese most of the time in my daily life because I live in Bandung, West Java. West Java is a province where most of the Sunda people live. In a formal situation or in education, business, and work, I use Bahasa Indonesia most of the time. Or, when I speak with other people from another region of Indonesia that has a different regional language, I will use Bahasa Indonesia to communicate with them. English, of course, I will use it to communicate with foreigners or my clients from other countries. So, like many other Indonesians, I speak 3 languages at least as a part of my life. So, for common people that speak at least 2 languages, like the narrator of the video you watched, to learn English when they don't use it often maybe it's somewhat very hard too. Imagine, there are already 2 languages in our brain and we have to somewhat automatically speak those 2 languages in our daily life, and we have to learn 1 language more to inject it into our brain. Even, some Muslim people learn Arabic too, because the ritual of prayer in Islam must be spoken in Arabic. I know a little of Arabic but not at the level of using it in daily communication, I just know some basics and how to read and write the Arabic letters because the Holy Quran that we read is in Arabic. How is it? Like you said, it's very hard, isn't it? Especially memorizing the grammar or the form and vocabulary of each language are very different. In addition to that, like Arabic language, Sundanese, Javanese, Balinese, and many other regional languages in Indonesia have their own letters. But, thank you very much for encouraging us to learn English. Personally, I want to encourage Indonesians to learn English too, or maybe any other international language. As my teacher said, "Don't forget your mother tongue, maintain Bahasa Indonesia and master foreign languages. Be an international citizen who has a national identity that preserves both national and traditional languages and cultures". Thanks for your content, sir. Please explore more about Indonesia and I hope you can come to our beautiful country. Cheers from Indonesia 😁❤
10:05 : You are absolutely correct. Indonesian love to simplify things. And one of them is cutting words. You can eliminate the asking word "apa" with a question mark for sure.
I can say we have 4 type language, used usuallay in daily life. 1. standart indonesia. 2. Bahasa daerah /regional language 3. Bahasa gaul / slang language 4. Other country language 4 its just type, for how much language mybe more then 4, they parents mybe from diffrent regional, so its likely they can 2 bahasa daerah/regional language.
about 9:36, yes you absolutely can. you can put question sound (slightly high pitch, idk what its called) at the last word of the sentence and it becomes a question form. "kamu mau duduk?" becomes "you wanna sit?", its informal but we local do this more often than not (even in formal occasion or addressing elders). the thing is, with Indonesian, you can just use couple words and we'll (mostly) understand what you mean. you dont always have to form a full sentence to communicate. just remember to add "tidak" (no) for negative form; and question sound for question form. and if you're still not convinced to come to indonesia, we all can use google translate to communicate. the phone is smart for a reason 🤣

when uncle said "girl girl" i remember the joke Indonesian make "Don't play play" 🤣🤣
😂Heart-heart on the road! Don't play-play!
No what what ITS an old joke
This old jokes 😂😂
Are you okay? "Im no what what"
Lol! Closing phrase is a good idea Uncle D 😁 got some suggestions for your closing phrase. The Indonesian for "Peace out, my friends! Have a good night!" Is quite accurate..it is "Tenang, teman-teman, selamat malam!". But we don't really use "Peace out!" as goodbye phrase, so it sounded like you're trying to get some rowdy indonesian to be more peaceful before you wish them a healthy evening..lol
Suggestions : keep the ".....teman-teman! Selamat malam!" Just change the "Tenang" or "Peace out" to :
- Saya undur diri (literal meaning : I'm backing out)
- Saya pamit (lit : I'm saying goodbye)
- Sehat selalu (lit : good health to you always)
Example : "Sehat selalu, teman-teman! Selamat malam!" (Good health to you always my friends, have a good night)
To my fellow indonesian: I considered adding "dadah, teman2" or "Daaah" and some other phrases like that, but I think it would sound too cute for Uncle D, wouldn't it? 😅 lol
Omg!! Dadaaah tmn2 👋🧔🖐☠☠
NOOOOOO!!! now i can't get THAT out of my head 💀☠☠
Please pin this comment D! for closing to your Indonesian Friends or Teman teman Indonesia
Calm down, sir.
I have been enthusiastic about learning English since the 2nd grade of JHS, and my enthusiasm has never been extinguished to this day.
I realized I couldn't master math, but I kept learning the Bahasa & english..

"saya suka teman" thats means u like ur friend in a romantic way. dont do it to your brother 😂
9:51 Yes, you can do that. In fact, you can simplify sentence in conversation into 1 or 2 word.
For example:
Person 1 : Kamu mau pergi kemana? (Where are you going?)
Person 2 : Aku mau membeli makanan. (I'm going to buy food.)
You can simplify it into.
Uncle, I think the easiest way to learn Indonesian language is to live in Indonesia for at least 3 months.
You can stay at my house if you want, it's free.
Every morning, afternoon, evening and night there is always coffee available.
🙏🏼
Kopi mana Kopi !
😁
YES, SIMPLE AS THAT, only need 1year to learn this, escscpecially when you do conversation with local, easier to learn
Terima kasih uncle D....
So thanks to watch/reaction this video, uncle D
Mari belajar bahasa Indonesia (step by step), semoga berminat mempelajarinya... 😁👍🙏
You are never too old to learn something. And I agree with the speaker in the video. The Bahasa Indonesia seems more simple compared to other languages I have learned or tried to so far.
Your reactions throughout this video are very entertaining.. wkwkwk 😂🤣🤭
7:39 perfect pronunciation.. 👏
9:41 you're right.. 💯 sometimes we skip the question word "Apa" (What?) n "Bagaimana" (How?)..
12:58 wkwkwk 😂🤣🤭 sorry..
13:52 no.. you just need someone to talk with in Indonesian..

Thankyou for Your Reaction, Peace & Happy Always.
❤ Indonesia Love You ❤.
Aku bangga jadi warga Indonesia.🇮🇩
The grammar of Indonesian is really easy, because Indonesian enriches the meaning of speech not at the sentence level, but at the word formation level.
We are simple peoples, that is why our national language so simple and easy to learn. Uncle D, stay about 2-3 mounths in Indonesia and you'll be speak Indonesian so well.
Good uncle.., you could follow and learned it well 👍😍.
Thank you has tried learn Bahasa Indonesia 🙏
Indonesian language is the easiest language I know after learning others based on how the structure etc.
It's supposed to be international language. Simply as it is
03:29 dan pada akhirnya bahasa Belanda diserap menjadi bahasa jawa dan bahasa nasional karena orang jawa susah mengeja, jadi ya sebisanya saja, contohnya:
Broog = Brug = jembatan kecil
Spoor = Sepur = kereta api
Fabriek = Pabrit/Pabrik = pabrik produksi
Stroom = Setrum = listrik
Potlood = Potlot = pensil
Jerrycan = Jerigen = Jerigen/botol tempat cairan (biasanya bahan bakar minyak)
Fiets = Pit = sepeda onthel
Zerbet = Serbet = kain lap
Duiten = Duwit/Duit = uang
Odol = Odol = pasta gigi
itu baru segelintirs saja, masih banyak sebenarnya.
The superiority of Indonesian is that after memorize the vocabs (Especially the verbs), you can use it as a root to any kind of form like present, past, future tense, passive-active, possesive etc just by slap in the right suffix
6:29 That mindblown moment 🤯
And yes, we do repeat the word for plural, things that you can count.
So if one is a Javanese, he/she might be able to speak (1) Bahasa Indonesia (2) English (3) Javanese Kromo (4) Javanese Madya (5) Javanese Ngoko and some (depending on the geographical location) can also speak other ethnic's language, so (6) Sundanese/Madurese
💥
Maa Syaa Allah dan Alhamdulillah... Aamiin 🤲

your Indonesian pronounciation is good. Pengucapan bahasa Indonesia anda baik.
Hii uncle.. I'm so laughing very much with ur hopeless. 😂😂😂. But don't worry uncle, the Indonesian here will bring you a guidance and you will happy if you're here. 👍👍
INDONESIA SUPER TALENTA.. ❤❤❤
12:45 FYI, even the native Indonesian has some difficulties mastering those forms. 🤣
14:13 the interesting part of Bahasa Indonesia, for daily coversation someone only need to learn the root words. the affixation is use to make the words sound more formal. in daily coversation, speaking like that is sound awkward. so basically most of Indonesian people commonly use the ROOT WORDS. and interestingly, someone only need to learn about 300-400 words for daily coversation. FYI, the Portuguese-Malay dictionary in 15th century was containing only 400 words, and that's sufficient for communication in trading.
16:25 for short just put a question mark such as "duduk?" (wanna take a sit?). another example: "minum?" (would you like to drink?). or "kopi?" (do you want/like a cup of coffee?)
English: "I've told you before", "I've warned you", "see that?"
Indonesian : "kan?"
so simple, isn't it? 😊
17:28 I think those examples are for advanced learners. 🤣
🧔: Kan? = told ya!
🧔: Tuh kan?? = I TOLD YA!!
Mother/Girlfriend/Wife saying any of those = RUN MFs!!☠
You're doing very well teaching Indonesian, dude. 😄
The English user in Indonesia increase now. So if you go to Indonesia you got no problem as long as you are not goes to a very rural area. In rural area the mostly still use their native mother tounge.
Kata2 kamu hebat bisa bahasa Indonesia🎉👏👏👏👏👏
Trust me, if you are foreigner (Bule) come to Indonesia and you try to speak Bahasa Indonesia the people would be happy.
12:51 most of indonesian people would understand if you just put the Root word together without affix or prefix
13:51 most indonesian people understand what you say, the problem is that they never use it in real life communication. In fact, there is english lesson in school for 12 years and almost every kids attends school, even though a lot of them they don't like english lesson.
But, it never hurt to use any tanslation app, device, or even vocabulary books.
Have fun, see you in Indonesia.
Silahkan datang ke Indonesia. Negeri dengan ribuan kesenian dan kebudayaan, juga kuliner terlezat di dunia.
Inilah negeri surga yang sesungguhnya.
I think most of foreigner that went to bali, they can speak and listen to indonesian less than 1 year i guess, if you keep hear indonesian speaking, you will definitely be good at this languange
Girl = Cewek
Girls = Cewek-cewek

Ternyata banyak poliglot bawaan di Indonesia ya 😅
Walau pun saya gk ngerti artinya 🥹 pokoknya lagu Indonesia Raya lagu kebangsaan terbaik di dunia 🥰
thank you for being my friend..
For K, it's replaced to ng (for example, instead of menkubur, it's mengubur) and then P, it's replaced to m (so instead of mepenggal, it's memenggal) T is replaced with n (menulis instead of metulis) and S replaced with ny (meNYeramkan instead of meseramkan).
sorry if my explanation is hard to understand, english is not my first language.
also, i'd like to be corrected if i'm wrong.
your Indonesian speech is right intonation. I guess that how easy is indonesia to read.
At least we can speak 3 or 4 language , that is normal for Indonesia people
Satu Bahasa Indonesia ,Bangga jadi warga Indonesia 🇮🇩🇮🇩🥰
Malay was the mother tongue in the past, but now it is no longer used because the vocabulary in the language is developing rapidly, from the results of the struggle of patriots in Indonesia to escape from colonialism, one nation, one country And that one language is Indonesian
If you visit Indonesia, the local people here will be happy to teach you to speak our language..
seriously..bro 😁👍
I'm proud of you bro..keep presenting positive content to your channel 👍💪

I don' t like eating batu... 😅😅😅😅😅
Mantap uncle.. Anda harus mulai belajar bahasa indonesia 🇮🇩 👍
You are so smart, sir❤
10:05 : You are absolutely correct. Indonesian love to simplify things. And one of them is cutting words. You can eliminate the asking word "apa" with a question mark for sure.
Hahhahaa...!
We're waiting you here, Pak De!
I can say we have 4 type language, used usuallay in daily life.
1. standart indonesia.
2. Bahasa daerah /regional language
3. Bahasa gaul / slang language
4. Other country language
4 its just type, for how much language mybe more then 4,
they parents mybe from diffrent regional, so its likely they can 2 bahasa daerah/regional language.
sebagai bangsa indonesia, mari kita gunakan bahasa indonesia agar lebih dikenal oleh bangsa2 lain.
about 9:36, yes you absolutely can. you can put question sound (slightly high pitch, idk what its called) at the last word of the sentence and it becomes a question form.
Bule yg baru belajar bhs Indonesia bakal blg bhs Indonesia gampang, krna mrka belajar bahasa yg baku/resmi tpi pas mrka langsung ngomong sma masyarakat luas pasti langsung bingung, apa lgi klo pindah" daerah, selamat belajar 😂😂😂 itulah Indonesia ku
No Sir, you can do it.. Remember the beginning is always hard but after that you will love bahasa Indonesia, because it is easy... 😊
Cara terbaik untuk mempelajari sebuah bahasa adalah dengan mempraktikkan-nya bersama "Native Speaker"
IDK why…but you always makes me laugh with that funny and sassy reaction😂😂😂

Balikpapan nyimak sambil Ngopi ❤❤
Bahasa Indonesia is peak. Hundreds of ethnicities and thousand of languages united by one struggle, one principle and one language. There is a reason why Indonesia has been called the impossible country for so long and predicted to be balkanized and yet we're still standing.
mangga atuh ameng ka tatar pasundan geura, raoseun calik dina lampit bari ngadangukeun dongeng wakepoh😂 sareng ngadangukeun wayang golek dina radio😂
in bahasa indonesia also there's spoken language and written language. and it's so different each another
Indonesian has 3 functions national language, united language, everyday language so the grammar is made as easy as possible so that it can be easily spoken by many tribes and regions in Indonesia

Calm down uncle D😂😂😂
