I am Dutch and we have a lot of Indonesian food here (because...history...) and Indonesian food is hands down the best food in the world. I won't take that back!
there is one funny story about undercover cop in indonesia. the cop is undercover as a meat ball street vendor for tree years and he end up so successful as a meatball vendor he decide to retire and become famous meatball vendor until today
Uncle d you impressed me at the first words of indonesia that u say, thanks uncle d for always support and react to indonesian videos it was wholesome for me ❤🙏😇
Of course because alot criminal and terrorist being normally undercover that make Police cosplaying as street vendor or motorbike taxi. @@zcovichibra5918
here in the netherlands ( whith our big indonesian influance in food ,former colonie ) we just order the indonesian rijst tafel, then you get a table full of all kind of stuff very lovely
Yes it's true bakso street vendor was often use as cover. There's a couple of reason why. 1. Bakso usually sold on two wheeled wagon. So they're mobile. They can go to any neighborhood and no one would suspect bakso seller. 2. They often operate until 2-3 am as a past midnight snacks option. 3. Unlike nasi goreng street vendor, you don't have to know how to cook. Because serving bakso was just putting every ingredients into the bowl and then pour the pre made soup. They don't just use this to track terrorist activities, but also other crime like drug dealings, gang crime, etc.
Thanks a lot, Uncle D. Reactions for Indonesia always a lot of fun and happines. My lovely country Indonesia are so amazing and awesome with many beautiful cultures, foods, hospitalities, natures etc. Indonesia is the best. 🇮🇩👑🏆
This darn video content you just reacted was pretty great and I can't lie with you Mr d it just literally took me to like an destination where you're trapped inside those places then you'll face a impossible task not to ate that so much dish and just pretend as if you reluctance to eat it although it's loaded with variety of flavor which you never know about. 😂 haha.
Uncle D, you must find an Indonesia's restaurant and try it for your self. There are a lot lot loooott delicious food, desert & drinks.. hopefully you'll like it. Much love from us 🙏🏻🇮🇩❤
Actually the way they served gado gado is totally different by what we have gado gado here. They served it separate from the peanut sauce, thats why it seems not much flavor in it. But trust me, gado gado here in Indonesia is really good, the peanut sauce is delicious, please try to find another video of gado gado 😊
gado gado mostly serve like that in high class hotel even in indonesia. the chaotic plating gado - gado has is just not aesthetic enough for hotel guest
I am sorry but there's lots of wrong informations 1. Eat nasi goreng using spoon, not chopstick 2. Gado-gado means mix, so all vegetables and peanut sauce should mixed up together with all condiments to create delicious taste 3. Nasi lemak is Malaysia's traditional food. Indonesia has similar food it called Nasi Uduk with different condiments Anyway.. I love Uncle D reactions.. very interesting.. I hope Uncle D can taste real Indonesia cuisine as soon as possible
Chopsticks??? Spoon or right hand please.... And Nasi Lemak is Malaysian if you want the Indonesian version it's Nasi Uduk. And peanut sauce if fab! Americans should try peanut butter with sambal!!
You must look vidéos of louis-san, a french/japanese youtuber, he brings his 3 japanese friends in France to discover our food, drinks, and how we live everyday compares to japan
Nasi Lemak is not Indonesian dish, its Malaysian dish, the way she served is from Malaysia. While Indonesia is Nasi Uduk, similar but different. Our Nasi Uduk is not like that
Gado Gado directly translated means Mix-Mix and there's only one thing they didn't do when they serve the Gado-Gado there.. Which is literally in the name lol
and that's true, we don't even know if it's an undercover agent or a real trader, we definitely wouldn't expect the agent not to wear a neat suit like in the USA 😂😂😂 but blends in very naturally.
Maybe they think Indonesian is part of china or something. I mean why eat indonesian food using chopstick? And gado2 means mix so you must mix it alltogether
why do they eat fried rice /Nasi Goreng with chopsticks? not a good combination..😂😅always remember to eat fried rice with a spoon so that the enjoyment increases
Why did they give chopsticks to eat nasi goreng? They are Americans, not Japanese, Chinese or Korean. And nasi goreng is Indonesian food, not Oriental food, and not the same fried rice in China, Japan or Korea. You may use spoon and fork to eat nasi goreng or other Indonesian foods. Look at poor Sharon, she keeps dropping her chopsticks. 😂
Yes, the undercover thing is real. When we hear the word undercover here, we think of cops driving unmarked cars and hide and pull people over, basically hiding to get minor offenses or trivial things just to get easy money. Over there there are no unmarked cars pulling people over, so when they say undercover, they stay in character for months and years just surveilling their assigned areas. Some as street vendors, street sweeper, or even pretend to be crazy hobo. Sometimes their surroundings only know that they're a cop when they passed away, because then they would have a cop funeral. At least that was my experience by living there 16 years
Yup you are not wrong, over here its to steal as much money from the public as you can to load up the police district funds for great retirement and benefits for the officers who most have not actually stopped a crime ever - its about writing tickets and sitting in their cars all day with the AC blasting and on their mobile phones (which I see them on while driving all the time) (thats a ticket for me if they catch me)
As an indonesian: nasi goreng with chopstick? we just use hand or spoon The gado-gado looks very American. I don't want to eat it either bakso is ok rendang is ok, except for the chopstick mie tektek is ok nasi lemak? is that malaysian or sumatra food? martabak manis is ok, except for the flower
Ah and there was one time that an undercover police resign to actually become street vendor because he got better money doing it, I guess he found his real talent
5:59 the presentation of the gado gado dish is wrong, the vegetables must be mixed with peanut sauce and all the ingredients, the lontong (rice cake) is not cooked wrapped in banana leaves or coconut leaves
I am Dutch and we have a lot of Indonesian food here (because...history...) and Indonesian food is hands down the best food in the world. I won't take that back!
For sure!
Hey, you guys colonized Indonesian for 300 years and your food still plain.
NVM,, just joking around
there is one funny story about undercover cop in indonesia. the cop is undercover as a meat ball street vendor for tree years and he end up so successful as a meatball vendor he decide to retire and become famous meatball vendor until today
hahaha thats great
@@WatchingTheWorldWithD😂😂😂
The reality is, he is still undercover
I laughed seeing them eating fried rice using chopsticks. It must be very difficult.😂 Indonesians eat with spoons and forks.
Truly indonesian knows how to eat fried rice, it must be with the right hand
and someplace, they eat fried rice with bare hand too, amazing.
Di Amerika aja, orang sana makan nasi pakai garpu lebih aneh lagi.
Don't know why they're given chopsticks...should be spoons and forks
Uncle d you impressed me at the first words of indonesia that u say, thanks uncle d for always support and react to indonesian videos it was wholesome for me ❤🙏😇
Rendang is #1 the best food in the world CNN version 2017.
Indonesia has more than 5,300 delicious dishes with different taste 😍
I'm Indonesian and that's true DENSUS 88 ANTI TERROR always undercover as a street vendor or delivery agency.
But that doesn't mean that the Densus often carries out operations in Indonesia, I mean Indonesia is a safe country to visit
Yess i agree for some mission @@zcovichibra5918

Nasi lemak ❌ Nasi Uduk ✔ Indonesia didn't have Nasi lemak
As Indonesian, I agree. Nasi lemak is Malaysian cuisine, and a bit different from Indonesian nasi uduk.
Indonesian eat fried rice with spoon and occasionally with forks too. Because the rice we used ain't the sticky one.
Bikin lapar liat orang makan 😂
You hilarious sir😂

The gado-gado looks very American. I don't want to eat it either

Kopi mana Kopi !! ☕
That's ain't the correct way to eat gado-gado. Just mixed it all.
Im sorry, my english not that good to explained
yeah nobody eat fried rice with chopsticks
Sir, what problem with Sharon? 😂😂
What they eat is not authentic Indonesian taste. It is adjusted to suit the American palate. You can tell just by looking at it.
