*Week Two - Throw 3 x nesting bowl in 25 minutes BLINDFOLDED!!*
This week's challenge was to throw 3 x nesting bowl in 25 minutes BLINDFOLDED!! They didn't mention how much clay they used on the show so I guessed at 500grams, 750grams, 1kilo.
Keith wanted to see a nice curve on each bowl.

To celebrate the new series of the Great Pottery Throw Down I’ve challenged myself to do ‘the throw down’ which is set to the contestants on the show every week.
The show airs on a Sunday here in the UK so I’ll be doing the challenge the next day. I’ll film them during the day and upload them here to UA-cam every Monday. I’ll be sharing what I learned along the way as well as some pottery tips so make sure you subscribe to my channel. And drop this video a like.
You guys are very welcome to do the challenges with me. It might be cool to compare notes and have a little bit of competitive fun along the way. The point is to challenge ourselves and try new things and maybe inspire others at the same time.
I am filming the challenges in real time with little or no editing to the footage so you can see what really happened! (I’ll only trim the beginning and ends) I’m aiming for them all to be shot in one take. Although my camera stopped part way through, does anyone know why? 🤔

I'm always amazed at how well you do at these challenges. I enjoy watching you do these. Wish I had a way to watch that show in the States. Not sure we get it here, but I'm going to look into it.

I can't get over how you seem to use the back of your hand to press the clay down.
the back of my hand? 🤔 I think that's an optical illusion as I'm mostly use the side of my hand.
