I’d recommend not taking the 1/4 impact to your main mounting bolts to the frame of the Jeep. You stretch those threads and you’re not going to be happy. A little blue threadlock and a ratchet will do just fine.
Your video was for me the deciding factor! I was leaning toward this rack and you put me over the top. Could not be happier, incredibly sturdy and well built. I am still blown away that adding a shelf to a "blank" area actually ADDS so much storage space. Just absolutely love this rack. Installed yesterday and leave for Utah adventure in 1 week! Thank you.

I just installed the Rampage rack and love it. Very easy to install, rock solid and tilts out of the way when needed. I have a 2 door JK, 2018. I got the cheaper price right from Rampage.
What would be really nice is after one of these shelf installs, someone could show with a measuring tape how much distance there is from the floor to the shelf and how much distance there is from the shelf to the inside of the roof…

I just ordered one for my 2011 Jk 2 door Rubicon, I have been looking for one of these units most seem to only work for the jku, hope it will fit into my 2 door jeep

Hi, I have my hard top on now but in the summer I put my soft top on with a slanted back window. Do you think I would be able to use this or will it be in the way with the slanted window? Thank you

It's pretty good if you never take your top off, which I guess during the winter works. I'd be concerned with stuff shifting or flying at the kids on that shelf with a net and plastic carbiners. Other than that it looks pretty slick.
Yeah my neighbors son was killed that way his subwoofer speaker box wasn’t secured down and it flew forward and struck his back and severed an artery and later died. The doctor was so confused because it was internal bleeding! So yes I 100 percent advocate securing your load down on these. Straps and bungee cords, keep seats up and not down ect you never know when your going to be in a car accident! Thanks for sharing 🍻

Looks amazing but when taking off the roof how long does it take. Do you have to take apart the whole thing?
As fast as it it to install in can come out. Same bolts that secure the top secure the cargo rack. 🍻

do you think this would work with a Rhino Rack with the Backbone Support brackets?
If I think what your talking about yes , check this link out. it may work. You would have to install the 3 bar systems first then put the carrier over the angle supports where the top bolts to the tub. It’s likely you’ll need to buy longer bolts as well. @@ATEMOFFROAD it did not fit right out the gate. The hard top boots are not long enough to go over both the cargo rack and the back bone. I’m currently waiting on longer bolts. Also the corners made contact so I had to grind them down.
I’m trying to get a cargo net that I can remove and put up quick to serve the same purpose. I have a 2002 Jeep wrangler Sahara and I cant find what I’m looking for. If you have any information on what I can get that would be awesome. If anyone else knows and has information please be free to let me know.

You would need to remove it, it’s quick same way installed. 🍻

I thought Hooke road had one for 2dr that clamped to the roll cage like on my tj but I think it was discontinued. Maybe they can chime in on this conversation. Thanks for watching 🍻
@@ATEMOFFROAD I watched this vid when you first published it a couple months ago and went on a 2 door vision quest for this exact tray. You are correct, I was left devastated and children began to cry and puppy's left home. SOOOOOO I bought this one anyway....swap it around (Left for right) and it will fit, but you will have to drill a couple of holes. I am getting ready to do a review on the 2 door install, I'll let ya know when its done.
