Actually, the Bible is the one and only tool to pull someone away from the Catholic Church. And, of course, God has to speak to them and open their eyes ...step away from works based idolatry...and find out what grace is all about. 😊
being Amos 8:11 is very prominent today, i ask them to start with Bible basics, then build from what our Creator deems _'Truth'_ -- then more likely they won't be confused by the things catholicism uses to deceive them.
@@PresidentofTrixyonicUnion. You could go to the Mass every day, or check up the way priests or monks pray, and imitate (because you think about priesthood), the better would be to ask a priest (I think priests with the sedevacantist position are at least safe, in comparision to ""conciliar"" priests). Doing what Church teaches and not trying to invent is better, I think. (And the Mass is not only for prayer, Mass is for 1) the holy sacrifice 2) prayer 3) lectures.)
I like this guy. No matter how many bashes he gets in the comments, he stays humble. Blessed are those who are persecuted in the name of Jesus. Keep on keeping on! 😊
Humble? He throws straw man fallacies like grenades and has arguments that are so stretched they would make a rubber band blush. His entire argument "destroying the protestants" was saying they had to believe that Jesus didn't care what their beliefs were. The reality of it couldn't be more opposed. Seriously, even if you don't agree with Sola Scriptura, one tiny look would show how insane his take is! Protestants truly focus on holy scripture as the sole authority for doctrine. You know, THOSE Holy Scriptures? The Bible? The Word of God? The teachings of Jesus Christ himself? It's pretty clear and fairly blunt, actually. Yea this dude is trying to say protestants DON'T practice Sola Scriptura, yet has a problem with them because he believes they DO practice Sola Scriptura. Also, for some strange reason, he has never answered me if he accepts Jesus as his perfect, all-sufficient savior. For someone claiming to be Christian, that is quite the question to dodge.
@@Axel-zc6xj I would rather believe on the extensive research of Dr. Kenneth Howell, Theologian and a former protestant than what you are claiming. All non-denomination churches are products of schism whom Jesus condemns. This is also very clear with St. Pauls teaching to the Corinthians. This guy is telling the truth with his stand about the catholic church and teachings. I don't expect you to believe though because how can you understand when at the first place, your father Luther and Calvin steongly wants to remove 7 books from the original bible that the church fathers are protecting. So no matter how you elevate yourselves on how brilliant you are in interpreting the Bible, it's lacking. You guys don't have an authority to which you could refer to if two people have two different interpretations.... So there.... That is why yall have 48000 different denominations 😂 What a hoot.... Fake Christians... Here's scripture that debunks Sola Scriptura : See my next post
@Axel-zc6xj The first Christians didn’t learn their faith from the Bible because none of the books of the New Testament had been written yet. This is evident in Paul thanking the Corinthians for “maintain[ing] the traditions even as I have delivered them to you” (1 Cor. 11:2), and instructing his disciple Timothy, “what you have heard from me before many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also” (2 Tim. 2:2). Paul thanked the Thessalonians for accepting his preaching, not as human words, but as the very words of God (1 Thess. 2:13). In his second letter to this community he told them to “stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter” (2 Thess. 2:15). Sacred Tradition is not the same as customs that can change over time, like manner of dress or style of worship (or “tradition” with a lowercase “t”).Tradition (with a capital “T”) refers to the word of God that is “handed on” or “delivered.” It does not change even though our understanding of it grows over time, in the same way our understanding of Scripture grows over time. In the second century, St. Irenaeus wrote, “While the languages of the world are diverse, nevertheless, the authority of the tradition is one and the same.” He also asked his readers, “What if the apostles had not in fact left writings to us? Would it not be necessary to follow the order of tradition, which was handed down to those to whom they entrusted the churches?”
So you see you guys have been brainwashed by your tithe loving pastors who lie to you so that you won't become Catholic otherwise they will lose your tithes😂 Pray for discernment and join the church that Jesus Himself founded.... Not one founded by a Man.... Martin Luther. You belong to the church of Man Catholics belong to the church of Jesus Christ.
Very insightful. Great practical advice and strategy which I plan on remembering and implementing. One of your best, Cameron! Muchas gracias! Ave Maria!
Thank you, Mr. Ricker. As a Lutheran college and seminary student, I had questions about Devine Intimacy but, found only ridicule & discouragement. This completely confused me but, I was able to read a little of St. Augustine. My professors insisted on our reading the Humanist's writing - much of which is dribble. Eventually, I came into the Church and continue to grow in God's love. Your channel is a great help for myself and others to do so. As Luther was exposed to profound violence, he couldn't understand the love Augustine spoke about. Thank you again for your work. Pax
On the contrary, the violence spoken about was in his family. Today, his family would be referred to as an anti-social family. In the seminary, we were told that Martin's Father suddenly left his home town, went to the neighboring town (literally, a different country) and changed his name from Luder to Luther. We were never told why. Eventually, it was learned that he fled there as he had killed a man in his home town. The Luder family was known in the late 1400's as a violent family; and, Martin also discussed his mother's beating him until the blood flowed for the crime of stealing a walnut. These stories can be found in Luther's Table Talks - part of Luther's Works.
I'm curious: Are you Lutheran or Catholic? You said you were a convert in a previous comment. I hope you aren't trying to get ordained as a Lutheran pastor while harboring Catholicism.
@@jeffreysharp8526 Uh, Hans Luther was elected town councilor. Besides, attacking Martin Luther's family does not magically make the roman catholic church's threats on his life valid. Just took a look at his Table Talks in full. Nothing about a walnut, being beaten bloody, or anything of the sort. Nothing you said is in there and not even the fast and loose wikipedia says anything about a violent family. You are simply lying, and if you are going by what someone has told you, then that person has lied to you too.
Thanks this was helpful. The Rosary has helped me a lot. Very powerful example from St Augustine. I'd say St Irenaeus also has a great influence as well
I was on a recent business trip to Milwaukee; I got a taxi at the airport and the taxi driver and I got into a nice conversation because I asked him where he was from (due to his thick accent). He said he was from Senegal, Africa and had been in the US 40 years. As we drove along, I noticed the Koran in his console. The Holy Spirit immediately said to me "tell him about Jesus". I did. We talked about the differences in who Jesus is in Islam vs. Christianity. As he dropped me off at my hotel, the Holy Spirit said to read Acts 8:26-40 - which is about Philip (an evangelist) getting into the chariot of the Ethiopian (African) and explaining the gospel to him. I experienced this with the taxi driver - I got into the 'chariot' of an African who did not know Jesus. My point in mentioning this is that the Holy Spirit was speaking but did not tell me to convince this nice taxi driver to join the Catholic Church. He only said to tell him the gospel and to tell him who Jesus is.
Thanks for the comment :) What a wonderful story! God often times leads people to Catholicism with Protestantism as a pit stop on the way. You can check out the interview I did with "sips with serra" if you wanna see an example of that!
at the end of ur video you said, it could be God helping you convert someone through you, me and a Protestant friend have had a discussion about the Catholic faith many times but only recently I’ve been writing in a journal about the history, why we do what we do, and just everything about our faith. I’ve been so consistent that I just love learning about it and it’s this urge to educate others like my friend about the one true church. I feel God is speaking to me to learn and to help convert sinners to him, to his church. It’s a beautiful feeling.
If he is "very knowledgeable " he will never "convert" to a pseudo-Christian church like the Catholic Church. I know I know WAY too much about Catholicism to ever be swayed into false doctrine. Catholics are a wonderful group of people. It would benefit them GREATLY to step away and join a Bible believing church. The Catholic Jesus pales in comparison with the Jesus of the Bible....so much so...He not the same Person.
It is strange how they worship and pray to Mary, yet in the Bible even an angel said not to worship it, but to instead worship God. (Revelation 22:8-9) Paul and Barnabas were also mistaken by people to be gods, which they quickly corrected. (Acts 14:1118) As God-fearing as Mary was, she would have done the same - told everyone to stop praying to her and to direct all prayers to God and to recognize Jesus as the one true mediator. Just like it says in the Bible.
Mary acts as a messenger for her son! Fatima is one of the most important apparition sites in recent history with important messages about - the rise of Communism in 1917, - the spread of the errors of that belief system around the world - request for penance & reparations - the outbreak of WWII if humankind didn’t heed these messages - a future scenario Any shrine that she requested to be built would have been for His greater glory, Mary always defers to her son!
Didn’t the pope just say basically all religious paths lead to God? If that’s true, why does anyone need to join to Catholic Church? Or any church, when based on the pope, Islam, Baptist, whatever, you get to God. Serious question.
Hi Cameron, I know you didn't ask for a protestant's review but I figured I'd offer my opinion anyways. This was a good one. Admittedly I am very confident with my faith, so I am unlikely to "convert" to Catholicism, but I do appreciate the effort and tools you offer. Praying for others to convert is an excellent idea and honestly I believe Christians should do this far more often than we do. Listening is a great way to break down wall and get to the heart of the problem which you can then address with doctrine, history, and personal stories, so nice job sharing that. And while I may disagree with your position about the church schism, I do appreciate that you express how much you care about us. Really good points all around so very nicely done.
I get that you’re secure in your faith. But if you found out that Jesus really is present in the Eucharist, in the way Catholics have taught for 2,000 years, what would you do? If you could have that kind of intimacy with Jesus, would you receive him? Or would you be offended?
I am hearing alot of misunderstanding of “protestant” faith and depth of understanding of the truth. There are schisms in Catholicism as well and different interpretations of tradition. You stated our foundation of faith is weak but we stand on the same belief in Jesus Christ, repentance of my sin and His atoning death as my righteousness. My stand before God Almighty is not based on a religion, but on a relationship I don’t have to rely on trickery when I can present the love of Jesus Christ crucified, risen, and seated at God’s right hand who suffered all for me for you. May we all be found singing Holy, Holy, Holy throughout the ages Amen
@@maryrupe5983 I was a very devout Protestant, who converted to Catholicism when I discovered that much of what I thought I knew about it was wrong. While there have been a few schisms in the Catholic Church, it remains intact after nearly 2,000 years. It can be traced back to Jesus Christ himself. Have you ever considered that? I never found anywhere in history that the Church went apostate, as is commonly alleged. There has been corruption and scandal, yes, just like Paul dealt with in the Corinthian church. The Protestant reformation has resulted in an unprecedented number of denominations. Anyone at any time can start their own church, with their own doctrines, based on where they believe the Holy Spirit is guiding them. That’s clearly not the unity that Jesus prayed for and expected, is it?

I knew Cameron was going to say prayer even before step zero because he kept looking up. I heard it said before our job is to plant seeds. It is actually the Holy Spirit that does the converting. So yes, prayer should be step zero.
I’m not going to bash you, I’m just going to point out a few issues. 1) Leading off by referring to the conversion of Sinners (which all Christians should strive to do) and then later revealing that you are using the terms sinners and Protestants interchangeably is not going to win anyone. We are ALL sinners, Protestants and Catholics alike. 2)Making the assertion that Protestants have no theology blatantly offensive. Minimizing our personal experiences with Christ and Spirit (which is made clear in the New Testament that we share is a pretty big deal) isn’t going to win anyone over. 3) Suggesting that Protestants aren’t the “sharpest” so don’t share theology with them, and them? Many Protestants are very theologically driven. 4)Appealing to someone’s hedonistic nature by focusing on “what it’s gonna do for me” is not how you Disciple. Appealing to self serving sin is not the way to lead sinners to redemption. 5)It was affirmed at Vatican II that Protestants are no less in the grace of the Godhead than Catholics based on doctrine. Please use this a cautionary tale. I have been a Methodist (to include infant baptism) for the majority of my 44 years and recently attending a Chrisitan (Disciples of Christ) Church. For the majority of had a lot of issues with the Catholic Church due to what I perceived as a pharasitical adherence to legalistic doctrine among other things. For the last two months, I’ve been gradually moving towards Catholicism based on Spirit lead research and revelations. I’m not quite there yet, but this video very detailed that because a lot of the things said came off a condescending and misguided, but I am going to continue on as led by the Holy Spirit. If you want to convert Protestants to Catholicism, do it by telling the stories of what God has done in your life as it directly relates to your Catholic faith, like the stories of praying the rosary (which you trailed off from) and I would suggest before you make another video like this, run it by a Protestant friend who can help you not to alienate yourself which I know is the opposite of your intentions in faith Godspeed
Excellent and exactly. Personal Witness and Prayer! Pro Ecclesia et pro Pontifice! God bless you! Praying for you in Berlin / Germany. And every day for the unity of the Holy Church.
I'm always amazed that Protestants "know" more about Catholicism than we do. It's not that they are ignorant. It's just that so much of what they "know" is incorrect.
This does line up with what Jesus and the Holy Spirit have been telling me to separate the sin of others and see their humanity and goodness with our human dignity and then appeal to that out of love with the Truth and tenderness.
The solution to division is submission to Christ. I've studied the Fathers and the history of the Roman Church. I'm still not convinced. However, your videos are excellent and if my non-Christian family members would become Roman Catholics, I'd be delighted. I still can't accept many of the teachings of the Church of Rome. I tried to wrap my head around converting for about a decade. It would take too long here to explain the reasons why I did not convert. Blessings to you.

Thankfully I didn’t need this in Australia. As a Catholic majority country, I never experienced anti-Catholic animosity or hate in all my time growing up and into adulthood or travelling extensively overseas for that matter. But anyway this video came in as a recommendation and I am appalled by your ignorance about Protestants. Most of us have read the Bible quite fervently and know the difference between Glorifying God and the so-called ‘Mother Church’. We do hold the Bible as our one and final authority and though we have our personal interpretations as you mention, we rely on the spirit to teach us “We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the things freely given us by God.” 1 Corinthians 2:12 NABRE. Btw I am an ex-Muslim converted to Christianity. I do not belong to a denomination yet I am a Christian and a Protestant Christian. I know a religious spirit when I see one (I belonged to a religion similar to the Catholic religion). I know God’s grace when I hear the Spirit. This is no less than Religious Spirit ‘condemnation’ and ‘pride’, ‘deceit’ and ‘malice’. Please read the Bible without the glasses of the Catholic doctrines so that you may know the Truth and the Truth may set you free..
As a Protestant in the past i have tried to do Catholic stuff… it fails every time once we talk about Mary. The doctrines of Mary are not truth. Everything else is truth. Once you require the Mary doctrine you require false belief. So i guess my advice… don’t talks about Mary at all.

I believe in the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church and that is not the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church is the church that decided to continue in the path of the apostate church of the Dark and Middle Ages. The Reformers rescued the Gospel from the Popes of Rome.
We all need to submit to the papacy???? The same pope who says we worship the same god as Muslims. The rcc cant be THE church because the gates of hell have overthrown it. Where are all the bishops denouncing this pope? JP 2 kissing the koran. Vatican 2 proves this is not the church of christ.
The Church Fathers were not Roman Catholics. There was no Roman Catholicism then. Roman Catholicism arose later when the Church lost its path and deviated from the biblical Catholic Faith. The Roman Catholic Church does not subscribe to the biblical Catholic Faith. The biblical Catholic Faith, for example, designates all believers in Christ as saints, not only a few chosen by the pope of Rome. The pope of Rome coerced the four popes of other locations of the Church to drop the title pope and leave it only to him. The pope of Constantinople refused but the popes of Alexandria, Antioch, and Jerusalem gave up the title. Pope Leo IX of Rome sent emissaries to Constantinople to negotiate with the pope there to drop the title, but the man refused to recognize the pope of Rome as having greater power than other popes, nor that the Pope of Rome had jurisdiction over the entire Church everywhere. Roman Catholic insiders (bishops and priests) know these truths, but they hide them from the rank and file believer and continue peddling what they know are lies about their Church, an apostate Church that lost the biblical Catholic Faith.
It’s not an ongoing crisis as it’s been dealt with. Unfortunately, pedophilia & sexual abuse of others has infiltrated all aspects of society. Do you really think satan would not try to destroy Gods Only One True Apostolic Catholic Church? Judging Gods Church by the actions of a few is like judging the ocean by a few waves. We are far greater than that, we are The Bride of Jesus Christ, His One True Catholic Church!
@@frekigeri4317 That's just an excuse, usually brought forward with no facts or evidence. You know, the molestation scandal was/is bad enough. What made it worse is that the Catholic church covered it up and moved the guilty priests around, rather than keeping them away from kids. That is what allowed it to go on as long as it did ...
@@TheAegis1000 1) the Catholic Church has been moving priests around for thousands of years. It’s not a conspiracy. It’s just what the Catholic Church does. Guess what, a pastor in Protestantism moves around too, literally whenever he wants. 2) I’ve looked into the data and guess what. Catholicism has the lowest rates of this problem per capita and Protestants have higher rates per capita. Except, Catholicism is over represented in the main stream media when it comes to this issue. How odd, it’s almost as if satan might have it out for the Catholic Church. Just fyi, secular public schools, way worse than either Protestantism or Catholicism but it’s covered up by the media as well, how weird. 3) much of the accusations leveled at Catholic priests are baseless. Many of these accusations are decades old, against a dead priest, who cannot defend himself. But the Church, in a spirit of reconciliation, will cut a check to even the most obviously false claims. Any drug addict that can say he was an alter boy 20 years ago can go to the Catholic Church and say some priest touched him and get a 30,000 check. 4) if this issue is EVERYWHERE and it is. Then the area of society with the least amount of it per capita, isn’t the problem, even if it’s over represented in your mainstream media. City x has one murder in 365 days. Mainstream media, city x is out of control. Meanwhile in city y a murder happens on a daily basis, but city x is the issue? Really?
It’s obvious Pope Francis doesn’t believe all the things you believe According to Pope Francis atheists can be saved, so I wouldn’t worry about evangelizing Protestants.
1st step: DON'T. I know many former catholics who grow their relationship with christ by coming to protestant churches. It can go both ways. I will encourage protestants to look at apostolic roots, but people won't grow their relationship with christ the same way you do. BTW there are many catholics who agree protestants are still saved, so leave this devisive belief.
Your story about these young men praying the rosary has nothing to do with the rosary. Our human brains can think about only one thing at a time. Paul said in Philippines 4:8¶Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. So yeah, the rosary will work but so will plenty of other things. Although your advice is heading in the right direction, it's just not quite there - I would stick with Paul's advice.

Catholic doctrine does not seem to be true to me. The Bible says the Sabbath is the 7th Day, the Catholic Church says Sunday is the “Sabbath”. The Catholic sabbath is six days early. God is always on correct time. Being early is still wrong!
Catholics would appeal that we do not assent to the Bible alone, as the Bible alone does not teach us how to Pray on the Sabbath. But, from the Bible, we can see how Early Christians would worship. Worship, within early Christianity, was centred on the Lord's Supper: the breaking of Bread and Wine in remembrance of Christ's Sacrifice, to which we receive the results of his resurrection, sanctification, through the reception of his Body and Blood. This is one of the Core aspects of 1st Corinthians, and is evident since Paul continually draws contrast with how The Pagans Worshipped and the Lord's Supper. Now when was the Lord's Supper, or more commonly 'The Breaking of Bread' celebrated? To early Christians, it was Sunday. This is seen as early with Jesus on the Road to Emmaus (Cf Luke 24), Acts 2:42 with the Disciples of the Apostles and Paul in Acts 20:7. This is why Paul in his letters commands a collection on the first day (1 Corinthians 16:2), especially in the broader context of 1st Corinthians, it makes sense. What we learn from later Christians is that this was instituted by the Apostles Orally, and passed down by Tradition. Only when it was disputed in generations after did Early Christians explain why: it was the same day the Lord rose from the dead. Now the Early Christians did still observe the Sabbath, and go to the Synagogue at this time, but this was because many of them were still Jews and the retention of Jewish practices was still up in the air, such as whether on must be circumcised (cf Acts 15). But we are not Jews, we are Christians. We have not on the seventh day of creation but the 'eighth' day, the Sabbath, where creation was ransomed by God from death and life and light had entered into the world once more, and preparing for that final Sabbath in the coming of Christ Jesus our Lord and God, of who deserves glory with the Fathers and the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
@@luxither7354 Thank you for the explanation now I know why you do what you do and why you do it on the first day of the week. I still don’t see any scripture that supports that day for worship but I now know your logic but still think it’s not Biblical.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. - John 15:1-27
Wow, is it really about converting people to Catholicism ? I thought people were saved through the gospel of Jesus Christ ? Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
I see, the Roman Church is the savior to submit to. In Catholicism, Christ Jesus is an after thought. It really seems some Romans know more about their Church than the one they say built it. I’m basing that of this video and other conversations I’ve had with devout members of the Roman Church. I realize not every single member of the Roman Church blindly believes everything that is said.
If you deny Luke 22 as being an ontological Truth, you cannot be a real Christian since you believe Christ's Body is symbolic. This foolish comment reeks of arrogance, so humble yourself there. You cannot be a Christian if you deny the consummation of Our Lord, in a supernatural way, by Bread and Wine turning into flesh on a substantial level. After all, "'is' means 'is'." That is how an institutionalized religion like Catholicism allows for a personal relationship with God the Son: the Eucharist.
@@CameronRiecker Your welcome. I assume you mean His body as in the Eucharistic sacrifice of Christ performed by a Roman priest, not the assembly of believers in Christ, correct?. The Bible says the body of Christ are the believers in Him. There are Christ followers in every church and in every church there are ones who just do the motions. Remember, Judas Iscariot was in the church and he betrayed the Lord. The Roman Church has declared that anyone professing to be a Christ follower yet is outside the Roman Church is damned. If one is outside the Roman Church, it is better to not know Christ at all because then you can be saved by good will. As I said, the Roman Church is the savior to submit to per Roman doctrine. If you want to lead one to Christ, my approach would be to tell the person about Him, what He has done in my life, and why one needs Him. A great place to start is talking about His Word. He is the cornerstone on which the Church is built after all. "So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are citizens with the saints and also members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone. In him the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are built together spiritually into a dwelling place for God." Ephesians 2:19-22 NRSVCE
Not possible if they know the Bible. So, study the Word of God. It'll keep works based religions like Catholicism and it's paganism/idolatry far away from true born again Christians. Otherwise, what seems to be a Christian church will drag down people who want to have a relationship with the REAL Jesus.
Jesus est His One True Church, Mt 16 18-19 with Peter as His first representative or Prime Minister Isa 22:22 which is the pillar & foundation of Truth 1 Tim 3:15 which Ignatius named as Katholikos or Universal in 107AD which codified your bible in 382AD. Fact check if you don’t believe me.
Catholicism condemns works-based salvation, and we especially believe in Faith and Grace alone being able to save you. The distinguishment is that these are evident by the deeds we do for the sake of God. We cannot be lazy and expect Divine Praise if we do not live a life of virtue, and live out a Christocentric life as the Father intended us. Kindly quit trying to strawman what you do not know.
@geoffjs False. Peter is not the ROCK the church is built on. That is from a deliberate misreading of the Bible. CHRIST is the ROCK, or Chief Cornerstone, that the Church is built on...which Peter acknowledged in the verses prior.
@user-ck5pc3vh5n False. FAITH, NOT WORKS, is ALL that is required for Salvation. And Catholocism REQUIRES works in addition to faith. It's in your doctrine. In fact, it's the REASON Purgatory is a concept that was made up..."alms to reduce sin" which is in the unBiblical Apocrypha. Well, partly. Purgatory was made up to make the church clergy rich...but that's another topic. Yeah..I've done my homework.

For 1500 years after Jesus died and was resurrected there was only one church …..the Catholic
church founded by Jesus Himself when He anointed the apostle Peter as the first pope
" You are Peter and upon this rock I will build my church"
Then 1500 years after that along comes Luther ( after Satan had whispered in his ear) and split
the church apart ….just as Satan had instructed .
Luther Calvin and others started the rot . ( Now remember this was 1500 years after Christ
founded His church …..there was no protestant church at the time Jesus walked the earth ….it
was the Catholic church
Catholic means universal .
From the Greek word KATOLIKOS.
Martin Luther, an EX CATHOLIC wanted to reform the Catholic church but took it too far. He
began the great division in the church in the 16th century .He believed he was inspired by God
and that no one could criticize his ideas. He was a narcissist...he said " In a 1000 years no
bishop has been bestowed with such gifts as God has bestowed upon me". He said he is certain
that he has received his dogmas from heaven …..he said " I am the prophet of the Germans ".
But the fact is he followed the teachings of Henry of Ockham.
He started translating the bible from Greek without having any knowledge of Greek .He
translated the " man is justified by faith " into " man is justified by faith alone " he added the word
" alone " by himself .When someone criticized him for that he replied " Doctor Martin Luther
translates it that way and that's how I want it."....over 1400 errors were found in his translation
.He excluded certain books from the bible by his own authority …..he said the epistle of James
is nothing more than straw because it does not present any evangelical character. Regarding
the book of revelation he said that he does not find anything apostolic or prophetic in this book.
He commissioned rude paintings of the pope of that time and got it published
( is that the conduct of a holy man ….a man inspired by God ?).
When he blessed people he would say "
May the Lord fill you with his blessing and hatred for the pope.
( Is that a blessing ? Or a curse?)
On marriage he said that marriage is mandatory ….that woman was not created to be a wife
but to beget children they only serve for marriage or prostitution.
He said he hates divorce so much that he prefers bigamy. He allowed prince Phillip to have 2
wives and justified it based on the bible and when people found out…. he lied and said that one
was his concubine and not his wife.
He loved the virgin Mary and said she was the tender mother of God ….in his dining room
He had the crucifix and and image of Mary holding the infant Jesus .
He accepted baptism and the real presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. He later said that
Lutheranism was no better than catholicism
Why would anybody in their right mind listen to a protestant who's religion was invented 1500 years after Jesus ascended into heaven.... That's over 1000 years later....
By the way it was the Catholics who gave the world the Bible.... Not you protestants..... The Bible was put together in 384AD.... Long before you guys were even a THOUGHT😂..... AND YET YOU GUYS HAVE THE NERVE TO TELL THE CATHOLICS HOW TO READ THE BIBLE 😂😂😂

What a hoot.... Fake Christians...
Here's scripture that debunks Sola Scriptura :
See my next post
@Axel-zc6xj
The first Christians didn’t learn their faith from the Bible because none of the books of the New
Testament had been written yet. This is evident in Paul thanking the Corinthians for
“maintain[ing] the traditions even as I have delivered them to you” (1 Cor. 11:2), and instructing
his disciple Timothy, “what you have heard from me before many witnesses entrust to faithful
men who will be able to teach others also” (2 Tim. 2:2).
Paul thanked the Thessalonians for accepting his preaching, not as human words, but as the
very words of God (1 Thess. 2:13). In his second letter to this community he told them to “stand
firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter”
(2 Thess. 2:15).
Sacred Tradition is not the same as customs that can change over time, like manner of dress or
style of worship (or “tradition” with a lowercase “t”).Tradition (with a capital “T”) refers to the
word of God that is “handed on” or “delivered.” It does not change even though our
understanding of it grows over time, in the same way our understanding of Scripture grows over
time.
In the second century, St. Irenaeus wrote, “While the languages of the world are diverse,
nevertheless, the authority of the tradition is one and the same.” He also asked his readers,
“What if the apostles had not in fact left writings to us? Would it not be necessary to follow the
order of tradition, which was handed down to those to whom they entrusted the churches?”
So you see you guys have been brainwashed by your tithe loving pastors who lie to you so that you won't become Catholic otherwise they will lose your tithes😂
Pray for discernment and join the church that Jesus Himself founded.... Not one founded by a Man.... Martin Luther.
You belong to the church of Man

God bless you! Thank you for this wonderful comment!
That profound violence Luther was exposed to was at the hands of the roman catholic church. They literally threatened his life.

Very powerful example from St Augustine. I'd say St Irenaeus also has a great influence as well
The rosary is the most powerful weapon we have!
Don’t forget one of the simplest things. Saying grace before meals. It is very powerful. For those that hear it, pray it, or witness it.

at the end of ur video you said, it could be God helping you convert someone through you, me and a Protestant friend have had a discussion about the Catholic faith many times but only recently I’ve been writing in a journal about the history, why we do what we do, and just everything about our faith. I’ve been so consistent that I just love learning about it and it’s this urge to educate others like my friend about the one true church. I feel God is speaking to me to learn and to help convert sinners to him, to his church. It’s a beautiful feeling.
I pry a rosary often for my Protestant friend to convert. He is very knowledgeable about the Catholic Church
Have you tried the seven sorrows rosary?
If he is "very knowledgeable " he will never "convert" to a pseudo-Christian church like the Catholic Church.
I know I know WAY too much about Catholicism to ever be swayed into false doctrine.
Catholics are a wonderful group of people. It would benefit them GREATLY to step away and join a Bible believing church. The Catholic Jesus pales in comparison with the Jesus of the Bible....so much so...He not the same Person.
@@CameronRiecker I’ll try that. 🙏

@@Wgaither1 Proverbs 16:18 KJV - Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
It is strange how they worship and pray to Mary, yet in the Bible even an angel said not to worship it, but to instead worship God. (Revelation 22:8-9)
Paul and Barnabas were also mistaken by people to be gods, which they quickly corrected. (Acts 14:1118) As God-fearing as Mary was, she would have done the same - told everyone to stop praying to her and to direct all prayers to God and to recognize Jesus as the one true mediator. Just like it says in the Bible.
Mary acts as a messenger for her son! Fatima is one of the most important apparition sites in recent history with important messages about
- the rise of Communism in 1917,
- the spread of the errors of that belief system around the world
- request for penance & reparations
- the outbreak of WWII if humankind didn’t heed these messages
- a future scenario
Any shrine that she requested to be built would have been for His greater glory, Mary always defers to her son!

Didn’t the pope just say basically all religious paths lead to God? If that’s true, why does anyone need to join to Catholic Church? Or any church, when based on the pope, Islam, Baptist, whatever, you get to God. Serious question.
The current pope is a heretic, and is leading his church further away from the Catholic Faith of the Bible.
My thoughts exactly…
Thank you for the charitable comment 😄
God bless you and your family!

If you want to convert Protestants to Catholicism, do it by telling the stories of what God has done in your life as it directly relates to your Catholic faith, like the stories of praying the rosary (which you trailed off from) and I would suggest before you make another video like this, run it by a Protestant friend who can help you not to alienate yourself which I know is the opposite of your intentions in faith
Godspeed

Some history for protestants :
Are you a cradle catholic or convert?
I was born Catholic but didn’t care about religion until I was in college
I ask you to make a video on Jesus is the God of the Universe taking the God's concept of different religion.
What do you mean exactly? :)
Hello Cameron! You are hilarious man. I watched one video of yours and found it really really misleading. But anyway this video came in as a recommendation and I am appalled by your ignorance about Protestants. Most of us have read the Bible quite fervently and know the difference between Glorifying God and the so-called ‘Mother Church’. We do hold the Bible as our one and final authority and though we have our personal interpretations as you mention, we rely on the spirit to teach us “We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the things freely given us by God.”
1 Corinthians 2:12 NABRE.

The problem is not the person it's their pastor... If their pastor loses them he loses his tithes 😂
You have said nothing about what belief and theology

@JoyToTheWorld-v2f Not sure bringing up quotes from a previous pope to a protestant really helps lol.
Millions have prayed the Rosary which changed their lives to holiness, think about it.
The rosary is very effective at eliminating mortal sin. Something Protestants struggle with a lot.
@@frekigeri4317 I guess you've removed the log from your own eye before moving onto the speck in the protestants eye.

Convert from what? Are'nt we all followers of Christ? Christians? No. Catholicism means universal.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
- Ephesians 5:22-33
So is a church it's members or the building that has no life? Christ is to marry the church no?
Yeah. Pray for me and i'll do the same for all people of the world. Keep your true church my friend. I'll keep Christ and abide in him.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you.

I'm already in it
I see, the Roman Church is the savior to submit to. In Catholicism, Christ Jesus is an after thought. It really seems some Romans know more about their Church than the one they say built it. I’m basing that of this video and other conversations I’ve had with devout members of the Roman Church. I realize not every single member of the Roman Church blindly believes everything that is said.
Thanks for the comment!
You can't have Christ without His Body :)
After all, "'is' means 'is'." That is how an institutionalized religion like Catholicism allows for a personal relationship with God the Son: the Eucharist.
you're right, they don't, and they don't all agree on the eucharist doctrine either.
You state, "In Catholicism, Christ Jesus is an after thought."
Your profound ignorance of Catholicism is embarrassing.
In him the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are built together spiritually into a dwelling place for God."
Ephesians 2:19-22 NRSVCE
