we were all waiting for this "walkthrough" and the result of this library is excellent!!!
The Cello’s are GORGEOUS
I literally popped on UA-cam and right infront of my recommended is the walkthrough I was hype for! That's wassup!
Incredible sound... It's just f***ng amazing ! Can't wait to work with it !
Some cool features and everything sounds great. The round robin legato transitions are definitely alluring. On my wishlist
Thanks for the video. I hope whole ensemble patch will be updated someday, which facilitates fast sketches in almost every work.
Esta librería es una auténtica maravilla, y este video, además, es una verdadera masterclass de cómo mejorar en la utilización de las diferentes articulaciones de la sección de cuerdas.
Awesome!
amazing!
WOOOW , Such a beautiful sound
Hey Wolfie, stay in Vienna!!!1!1!!
@@ZooDinghy Sorry wien I am going to berlin!

OK Orchestral Tools, you win !
Berlin Symphonic Strings might be awesome to use.
excellent!
Sascha is a wizard.
Can someone tell me how to load multiple instruments in one instance of SINE player like in this video? Orchestral Tools instruments sound so good but we really need a manual.
Does this have MPE support for portamento articulations?
Very nice. Dynamic range is certainly something nice here. My initial concerns about the expressiveness of the violins are gone. The two gripes are that the trills patch is switched via CC rather than just a two note press (like your other libraries) and there is not con sordino emulation (like Berlin Strings). Please consider updating the library with these.
Where's the part that made you feel better about the violin expressiveness? They do sound better with shorter runs but still not very expressive in long exposed passages?
@@belewis Mainly this is comparison to a lot of responses I've seen from others who own (or don't own) the library.
The main concern from listening to other demos/reviews was a balance of vibrato, expressiveness and transition "washiness", but I didn't hear it in this walkthrough.
I certainly would love to have a molto vibrato but this video's demonstration of the long sustains made me pretty happy that it wasn't to weep about.

I have Berlin strings and brass and using it in my kontact player. Can this library be used through the kontact player?
If You mean to use BSS in kontakt player its not possible.
It comes with their newer standalone player, SINE. Won’t run in Kontakt.
They just made a kontakt version
Hi, I have recently seen the new string library and it seems very interesting ... but I have a question about this library because I already know that the interior is one of the best on the market ...I mean berlin strins and if for my taste it is the most realistic ... in case anyone has any doubts ... but to be exact ... can this new one be better than the Berlin strings?I I ask why you already know that it is not the same to listen to demos, how to have the library and be able to try each patch ... to see and listen to the demos as I said it seems very good but you can enlighten me a little haha. Thanks .
The original Berlin Strings is better IMO, but this isn't trying to really be "better", it contains MUCH larger section sizes (even a bit bigger than a typical symphonic section, actually) and the original Berlin Strings has less than half that. In that regard, one isn't trying to be better than the other, but people have been asking for a symphonic size string library like Berlin Strings for a while. The original still has more articulations and a smaller, more detailed sound, etc. To me, the beauty of the original Berlin Strings lies precisely with the fact it has smaller sizes, so it always sounds so detailed and clear.
So, loading just the legato patches of the entire string section uses 9.4 GB of RAM ? (upper right meter in SINE)
WOAH. Yeah you're right. Sweet mercy.
He probably had multiple mic positions loaded, if you account the possibility of creating mic mergings, its way less RAM consumption
@@ForkySeven that's less than two gigs per section, not too crazy actually.
Great library. Did you fix the microphone merging function?
Yes - download the latest SINE version and the mic merge thing is solved
Yeeees
Sound amazing ! but, is the sound we ear the out of the box sound ? Or is there a mix behind the demo ?
Out of the box 😊
Staffpad need this 🥺 (rapid legato)
Any plans to port the existing Berlin Strings to Sine?
They announced it in their premiere event .
Theyre all coming
i want to buy berlin symphonic strings as my first strings ever but im not sure if its the right one, cause it only has a high number of players sections in it, and in case i want to make something smoother it maybe wont fit, any tips? Should i rather get some other strings for that money? I dont want to make cinematic orchestral music i want to mix it into some other genres
and @Richard F.W. Davis they commented "Yes, we're currently working on converting all our Kontakt collections over to SINE-we'll keep you posted on when to expect the Berlin series SINE versions."
@@switterbeet there are a lot of smarter options for just blending with other genres. The Berlin Series are AAA-Scoring products aimed at professional composers or hobbyists with spare money - for just sprinkling in strings here and there in Pop, EDM or HipHop etc. there are more sensible options.
Cinematic Studio Strings for example - though I feel like a dick advertising for CSS on this channel
Will you be releasing the rest of the berlin series on Sine?
Hi Milo. Yes, we're currently working on converting all our Kontakt collections over to SINE-we'll keep you posted on when to expect the Berlin series SINE versions.
Composers: The perfect string library doesn't exist.
Orchestral Tools: Hold my Hefeweizen.
Once again, excellent pizzicato. "Pattern Legato" is a great idea but the sound doesn't convince me, sadly.
Nice but why dont u make a pack with 8 OR 16 players, and why is Berlin Strings not on Sine but BSS and why is Berlin Strings about over 1000€ thats hilariously crazy and not even ensembles in it
1. That is the selling point of BSS, more players than BST, thus the 'Symphonic'
2. BST is years old and Sine was not a thing yet, every new library such as BSS is made for Sine though - in 2021 the older Berlin libraries are planned to be ported over to Sine
3. BST is an OT product, and OT never were the cheapest but you at least get what you pay for. BST is a huge library, rivaling Hollywood Strings and SF Symphinc Strings in Filesize and depth, only being MUCH more consistent than these two.
It is their biggest and probably most expensive project to this day, that is why it is 840 excl. VAT

Please someone tell the narrator how to pronounce legato
And pizzicato. Ouch 17:57. I would personally much prefer to hear Hendrik than a contracted voiceover who doesn't know anything about musical terms. Hendrik's accent is perfectly fine, and more importantly his interest and enthusiasm shines through.

Stop being a Karen. Drama queen!
haha yeah man, I haaate their voice-over guy. Overly enunciates everything and it feels like a kids show XD
Lol blame those assholes who actually complained about Hendrik's accent in the first place.
