Welcome to Session 9 of Fun with Mandelbulb3D Mutations demonstrating the MutaGen Option controls; Change Params and Julie Mode. This is Mandelbulb3D Tutorial Series #4 where we take a close look at the built-in MutaGen tool.
MutaGen improves your productivity and creativity with the Mandelbulb3D fractal generator application by fast-tracking your Mandelbulb graphics discovery. The MutaGen is a tool that automatically modifies a given Mandelbulb graphic to generate a variety of Mandelbulb “mutations”. From these graphic mutations you can choose one to continue mutating or manually modify the graphic as you wish. In this way the MutaGen tool helps you discover Mandelbulb graphics that you would have likely never discovered on your own.
In this Tutorial Series we take a look at several use cases of MutaGen. We’ll discuss using the MutaGen for “controlled discovery”. We’ll also discuss the MutaGen for quickly building a graphics library as a warehouse of Mandelbulb graphics for ideas and inspiration for future Mandelbulb3D projects. We’ll also discuss using the MutaGen tool as an animation helper.
