  • The Rode NT2A is one of my favorite microphones of all time. This microphone is over 8 years old and has never let down. This mic is used for vocals, acoustic guitar, drum overheads and more. I also use it on my intheblues tone podcast from time to time too.

Good Mic's don't have to be new to be good.

Don’t buy it anymore. It has a annoying top end, waste of money totally 💯

Do you think this is a good choice to pair with a dynamic mic for getting some room reverb/ambience when recording electric guitar?

I agree Rode mice are outstanding ! I've had a NTK tube mic and a NT1000 for more than 10 years . The NTK is my go to vocal mic !

Hi, when I look up the NT2A online, the boxes are completely different, they're black and orange instead of blue, and they're a lot less long than the one you have in the video. Why is this?

Had the exact same experience with this mic. Bought it when it first came out and was like, "Damn, this better get me through" and I've never been disappointed. I actually didn't look up reviews before (whoops) but now I'm checking these all out and I'm happy to see everyone seems to feel the same way I do, it's a great mic.

Just picked one up. Will be doing a bit of a shoot out over the week to test against a SP-1, NT1 & A few Apex’s.

Shit, after nine years and you've still got the original box! Man, you must collect everything... hate to see your garage.

Just a thought , an analog tube mic pre would just great you a great presence and a buttery smoothness. i love this mic so much that i'm gonna buy one for myself soon.
