Thanks for your vids. Great info. I just deleted my cats and installed performance headers on my 2003 e46 (325i). I noticed that when I was putting my engine mount back in it wouldn't quite fit because the headers were in the way. I was able to use a hammer and tap the plate down just enough for it to fit. But the header is sitting right on it. Is that normal? I don't remember if the cats were touching the mount or not.
Did you ever figure this out?

Love your videos. I picked up an 04 325i for a steal as a first project car for myself. I'm doing a head gasket change. Any advice on getting the intake manifold off without having to lift the engine for going under the car? Also, I'm gonna be replacing a fender, what or who do you reccomend to paint match the special white paintjob it has?

The catalyst is e46 m54. I want to install bmw e60 M54. Is it the same ?will go without modification?
If you don’t know what E46 and E60 are than headers on the M54 engine (shared by both chassis btw) prolly ain’t the job for you bro
Why are you making this harder than what it needs to be? I can personally tell you that you do not have to remove the motor mount to do this job.

What would you do
Just jack up the motor and stick a piece of one inch wood between the cross member and edge of the oil pan where it is structurally strong. Then the engine mount is easy to remove.

so if I add headers, am I able to run them without the 02 senors and still have good gas mileage?
Wasnt even paying attention i thought this was the 3 series with the m3 headers. Cause i herd installation is hard without a lift

I envy u all LHD E46 owners. Exhaust header for RHD is almost non-existant, and if there is, it is seriously overpriced.

Robert Black There is. U cant install LHD headers into RHD E46's because clearance issue at the steering coupling.

do all cars comes with secondary air pump? I mean petrol and diesel e46?
