These Logitech fanboys are funny af. lmao stop trying to pretend something that's trash is good... If you bought another product in your life that's not Logitech you would know that.
Hi-Fi The fox I'm talking about the subwoofer alone. I think you can make a pretty nice little budget home theater build with it. Custom box and some decent satellites... It's a really clean driver. Little mechanical noise. Can't handle that much power (Around 200W RMS) but it's a good, clean driver.
Well it was clipping my 1100 watt amp but that was at the point where it was slamming the coil into the magnet. I would put in in a car or something but for home theater usaly a larger sub will perform better because it can really make the low frequencies.
I also have a lousy breaker at home, last time i tried to overpower my 1970s flourcent lamp but after it started smokin my whole house went off and the worst part is that the lever got stuck so it was impossible to get the power back on and until today, i am still using the power socket outside my house
It survived quite a lot and that coil is impressive! I wouldn't say it's a crappy speaker at all! Sure, not audiophile grade or whatever but its decent enough for the value.
The woofers are made by Tangbang and that's why they are that good but I still don't believe it's worth the $700 or so price tag I think these had new.
@@HiFiThefox WOAH! That can't be right! I got my Logitech Z-5500 new for $300-400 AUD ($212-283-USD). Keep in mind this is their "home cinema" model with a 5.1 speaker setup and a larger more powerful sub (specs wise).
The satellites are built like shit. Both of mine broke. On one of them the surrround just got ripped apart and the other stopped working for no reason. The sub is going strong though. After a full day of 100% volume it was barely even warm.
I mean, i have the Z2300 and the speakers are pretty bad. From the start (when i bought them 9 months ago) the right one was shreeking when i lower or raise the volume and when its at high volume it just idk is unbearable, just it makes a clapping sound, and i don’t think its bottoming out cuz the left one is ok. But the sub is great i think, and people say this setup is shit, but idk what u expect from 60$.
Logitech uses mostly tangband speakers, wich are not that bad, but the fucking design, the amps, and the freaking enclousures just piss me off compleatly
Not really the bass was overpowering the mids way to much and it has no highs... There are just better speakers you can get and I needed to clear some room.
Use the CS-800 next time ;) No compression whatsoever. And no kidding regarding the coils on these bastards. Tang Band knew what they were doing when they made these subwoofer drivers for Logitech. It was Logitech themselves that couldn't make suitable cabinets for these. They all ended up sounding like crap. Not being able to perform optimally at all. No low-bass frequencies, and the amplifiers were usually filtered off around 40 Hz. If you made your own custom box for this driver, it could surely be capable of so much more
it survived because your using one of the later model of the cs-800. i had the same problem so i went out and bought an older cs-800 and had no trouble blowing anything
And even though the box is tuned to around 23hz it plays from 20-60hz and peaks at 35 and 45 since it is in my closet with double doors (so sound can still escape well). Kinda like a bandpass effect.

for pc speakers they sound great i've heard tons of more expensive sets that sound worse
You have to admit the subwoofer driver is really impressive for a little $100 2.1 PC speaker set.
But unless your a ricer in his Honda Civic you want to hear something besides bass...

MJ001 ?
Extreme tester eestlane v?
Do you still have this with you
I have the same speakers i got them for free and there pretty good for the price of nothing
Their subwoofers are litt
The satellite speakers are shit
U have the lg g5?
Yes👍 it's the first new phone I have ever bought and it actually kinda sucks...
The satellite speakers are crap , the sub is good tho
i sold my z906 to my friend bc they suck, and i bought edifier r2750DB with klipsch r120sw, good speakers for a small budget
Pls try blowout the big subwoofer
i love these speakers please stop !!!!😔I want to buy them just that I have no money and you are burning these speakers !!!
9:11 NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Heavy this like
Why😢😢
Why
i think this logitech system is the only good ones except the satelite speakers has no dust cap, looks stupid..
Why did you blow them?
It's fun
Hi-Fi The fox there good speakers so you shouldn't blow them.
Not really the bass was overpowering the mids way to much and it has no highs... There are just better speakers you can get and I needed to clear some room.
Hi-Fi The fox ok I now understand
@@HiFiThefox a subwoofer doesnt need highs

I did use it...
And that thing survived?! Well.. shit!
Almost all the peavey amps have to much protection shit on them
Well. Most pro audio stuff does!
it survived because your using one of the later model of the cs-800. i had the same problem so i went out and bought an older cs-800 and had no trouble blowing anything
Kinda mad
But the coil was huge for logitech
I would've bought it off you if you were sellin the woofer
Easy 30$ or more
This kinda stuff isn't worth buying unless you want some cheap computer speakers with WAY overpowered bass... I've seen these on ebay for $100 or so.
Hi-Fi The fox i would actually buy these and put proper drivers
I love overpowering bass.. at certain times anyway
Those woofers are beasts! I have a single one in a large box tuned low in my closet and it rattles the whole house on only 40w
To bad it had such a well designed coil for such a a tiny speaker. It was bottoming out on the 8.5c and it was taking the full 850 watts
And even though the box is tuned to around 23hz it plays from 20-60hz and peaks at 35 and 45 since it is in my closet with double doors (so sound can still escape well). Kinda like a bandpass effect.
u could have just done that with the z623
Added to my list of POS speakers to get if I come across them👍
this isnt the point you couldve made someone happy by giving them speakers
😂😂😂😂😂😂
whats even the point of bblowing speakers
A: needs a cone replacement
or
B: it's fun
