Zooming out the universe while increasing the brightness of distant galaxies! | Space Engine

- In todays video, I'm back at the end of the universe, because I want to try something very interesting. I want to zoom out the universe while permanently incresing the brightness of the distant galaxies, meaning we'll be seeing more and more of the universe at once! Enjoy :)

Its pretty cool how large space engine is and the ability to land on planets make it even more immersive
✨Absolutely😯🌌.
@Ukraine-RussiaWarVideoFo-zp1ypyou can download the old one Space engine 9.80 its free and also 1GB only instead of 58GB like the 9.90 version
Dr Who once flew the TARDIS into the edge of the universe and it was kind of like hitting a wall - the universe was literally being created in front of it, expanding outwards, creating, moving the boundary between everything and nothing. Cool video too, I'm getting this for my birthday... today!
Doing this, you can kinda see the construction of the cosmic web, with voids of less galaxies interlaced with denser areas.
Also, random fact, at 6:42 you landed approximately in South Sudan.
Yep, that's a perfect summary and interpretation for what you can see in my video😊! Also thank you for sharing your geographic knowledge😄!
@@necxtd Thanks.
Also I'm not quite sure if it is exactly Ethiopia but I'v made my best guess using the surrounding area as seen from orbit.
no, its somewhere in Central African Republic or South Sudan
@@choppership465 fixed that, it was a bit hard to see where they landed because of clouds
the coordinates are stated in the top left
they landed on around the center of south sudan
or more specifically, Tonj East, South Sudan
This is cool, but there's something kinda creepy about being at the edge of the universe. Like jumping into a pool at night with no lights on.
I like that Metaphor, you used. It really describes this feeling perfectly.
Thats not the edge... thats just the edge of the observable universe
*There is a unobservable universe out there*
@@hildaputri3731 yeah i know it's infinite. I'm just talking about the way it looks on the video.
@@t_ylr I think it's crazy that we live in an infinite universe there's literally infinite verisons of us doing infinite things rn
@@turbochips6148 Not literally, we literally don't know. It could be finite for all we know.
I had this weird dream once where I was flying above a circular CMBR version of the universe with some weird music playing, it was really scary when I woke up
The "void" effect is also in real life because over time, more and more galaxies gets permanently out of the view because the light will be never reaching them
Yeah, I heard of that as well.
❤ The Observable Universe Super Video ❤
Thank you😊
Im tramaitiazed
Thanks to the cameraman who was able to set an exposure for trillions of years to capture these images! Lol
Its crazy that people really thinks we are alone in this universe
We are. But only because the universe is so damn big :(
Some do, either because of religious beliefs, or because we think we're really that special.
aliens certainly do exist, it's just that we havent found them in reality
I love the patterns of the galaxies, its like spiderwebs
Yeah, I thought the same😮🌌!
Fun fact: it’s actually called the Cosmic web, it’s a pretty cool fact!
@@RoxyAnimates i know, but thanks!
@@RoxyAnimates it’s really cool
The thing i liked about that the observable universe doesn't have a Cosmic web and it doesn't mean it show the skin but it's so cool
Plot twist: the universe is just a giant aerogel cube
the universe as 4 corners, ive been to one of them
alternative title: simulating the whole universe [GONE WRONG] (PC EXPLODED)
😆😂That fits perfectly!🤣If you want to see my PC blowing up because of Space Engine, feel free to watch the Video I'll release this Friday, because it's exactly what I'll be doing!😉
1:18 Yeah my computer would’ve caught on fire at this point lol
1:50 And crazy to think those galaxies have billions of stars which contains 1 millon million billion planets!
Absolutely!🤯
Galaxy webs ahh stars
I loved this video thank you
Thank You so much😊. I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed😄✨.
I think the universe is a cube instead of a sphere
At least in Space Engine, it probably is.
GPU - "Houston, we have a problem!"
😆
only two words, thanks you
Thank you😊!
give NASA their supercomputer back
I don't think I will...😉😄
I went 33 trillion light years away and one past video of you increasing the brightness got me to try. At like 60 i saw the entire universe as a dot
Awsome😁😃😀😄😆
Thank you; I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed! :)
6:07 And suddenly the universe disappears as if nothing was there.
universe in this game actually cube and i didnt even know i was flying into corner of the universe in this game but irl was a circle
all the dots are galaxies, each with hundreds of millions of stars, and each star with its own planets, and each planet with at least 1 moon, and so far, earth is the only planet we know has life
🤯
bro got the NASA GPU
Since no one knows what is outside of our universe I wonder if there would be some type of 0 space/no medium so the universe would be invisible from the outside as light would not even be able to travel in what ever that void outside would be.
Oh, wow. That theory sounds very interesting to me!🤔 Maybe we will find out some day...
@@necxtd we can’t because the universe is growing so fast that we can’t escape it.
Its possible since there would be no space or time outside the universe meaning particles wouldn't be able to travel outside ever
Bruh how do u have no lagging of these many galaxies?
I must admit that I own a pretty good PC!
Would this technically be a cosmic web?
Yeah, you could say so😄!
how do you do that
Could you do this but from the surface of earth?
I already did this in a similar video called "From our earth to the edge of the universe (in space Engine!)". You might check that one out if you're interested!
@@necxtd got it
the void is called the erinides supervoid 1 billion light years wide this is an old colition with universesne🤓
Thank you for this.
@@7eye7 lol
what is the max for the brightness? because i want to see it
I actually already found an answer to that question in my video called "Did you know Space Engine🌌 has an in-game stress test⚙ for your computer🖥🤔😉?" Feel free to watch that if you're interested!

At 1:10 you saw nothing for a sec
That's correct. I had to increase the brightness of distant objects in order to see anything.
@@necxtd but is the game free
@@hstimmeh As far as I know; the free version is currently unavailable on the official website🤔; so you woud have to buy it for 20€ on Steam🤷♂.

Oh, it's an old, cringy reference to my own channel name, I used in my older videos.🥴😒 But I don't use it anymore in my current ones, because I think it's kind of weird to have such "insiders" for me, who is a very small UA-camr, when nobody really knows about them🤔; It just doesn't fit here; You're absolutely right😌.
@@necxtd Hey Brother, you use what you want to. I enjoy your videos. I am just so Fascinated by the Universe, light speed and the sheer scale of it all. 👍🏼
It's totally fine; What you wrote in your comment was just what I thought when I was re-thinking about this insider.😅 It's very kind of you to clarify that it wasn't meant in a negative way, but I nevertheless decided to not use it any longer. And I'm very glad to hear that you enjoy my content!😊
What is name of its software?
It's called "Space Engine". you can get it on Steam, or download it from the official website.
@@necxtd what is the official website

what is your pc build?

@@necxtd meanwhile me with only 4gb ram:
Fun fact: This is the observable universe that we have maped out using light information that is reaching us. But the universe is expanding faster than light speed so it's highly possible that the universe goes on and on for eternity and since the universe is expanding faster than light speed we can't and will never see those galaxies ever. Also the galaxies that we are seeing at the edge of universe rn is how it was billions of years ago, they have since expanded out into the void never to be seen again by us and at this very moment when I'm writing this comment millions of galaxies are going out of our reach never to be seen. One day in the far far future (if humanity thrives) when new generation will be born they will not see any other galaxies other than the milky way because all other galaxies would have moved away from each other due to the expansion of the universe.
I'm so glad to be born at right time to enjoy the night sky and look at the beautiful universe of ours ♥️
I love that closing phrase: "I'm so glad to be born at right time to enjoy the night sky and look at the beautiful universe of ours", because I can pretty much agree to it😊. Being pleased with what we got in our world where everyone's curious to find out what's beyond it is something I really admire🤗. "Anticipation is the greatest joy"; Maybe we'll get there someday. So let's be happy with what we got now and work on our own place as well😃!
And also great theory & explanation🌌. I loved your comment☺!
@@necxtd Exactly ♥️
Fun fact: The universe is red
In the case of this video, I think Space Engine just tries to replicate a physical effect here, which says that light-waves of red light are the longest from all colours that can be perceived. And the further I am from these stars, the more red they appear, especially when I increase the brightness☀.
Hi
