For those who care: There isnt actually an exact "edge" of the universe use 3 dimensional beings could travel to. Imagine the universe as a 4 dimensional hypersphere of which we walk through 3 of its dimensions while being unable to manipulate how we move through the 4th. The 3 dimensional space we experience is curved around that 4 dimensional hypersphere that expands all the time. This is the expansion of the universe we experience - our 3 dimensional space is being stretched by the 4 dimensional hyperspace around and inside us. It creates the flow of time that we consistently fly through while being unable to influence the speed we do it at. Its as if you were walking around the earth nonstop. It seems like you are walking on an endless surface but its actually not a euclidian surface - it is warped through a higher dimension a 2 dimensional being could not comprehend. By walking infinitely far you just end up in the same place over and over again. This is happening to us as we travel through our 3d "slice" of the 4 dimensional space we live in. Just like there is no edge of the earth we could fall of, there is no edge of the universe we could just hit and thats it. It is spherical hyper space and we only get to see a 3 dimensional "slice" of space at a time.
