Scared the crap out of me when I was 4 years old
Instead of using special effects to create a monster they have a real person inside a costume. This makes the monster appear as if its really alive.

How strange that the host never mentions this was one of the biggest influences for ALIEN.
He does later in the show when director John Carpenter joins him.
He could've added that this was a well-made, suspenseful and influential film, instead of going on about Small. Lame intro. Film is far superior to his...blab.
