Did you have any issues with it smelling bad after wearing in the ocean and did you you wash it after? I'm going to Hawaii for 2 weeks and last time I wore crochet, I wore a swim cap, but would like to try without it, but I my crochet always tends to absorb smells.

I go back and forth between braids and crochet for my beach trips & cruises. Braids are probably a tad bit easier to deal with. I like the more traditional look of the full curly hair. I normally do the beach curl but may try something else on your list.
can you still do the week long with swimming test for the yanky twist hair please? Just so we see how it looks over time whl getting wet and how you care for it.

Love Rastafri Dream Romance. It just needs to be roughed up a bit to make the curls more natural looking. It's one of those styles that looks better the longer you have it in.

Ok I see so many people say they love the Beach Curl so I gave it a try. I've had it in for almost a week now & I like it but....The curls look more loose on others, mine is giving me noodles Lol I didnt split it. It snags on everything & i have to pull hair off. Also ever since i cut it it sheds like crazy! When i untwist or twist it at night hair just falls out & im constantly having to sweep it up each time i touch it. What am I doing wrong?? Is there a more loose or wavy hair you recommend?
Next week will be the first time I try crochet hair and I’m starting out with the beach curl. My question is: does the shiny factor of the hair go away?

@@kimaya29no no issues with the smell - I did use the Hawaiian silky. Lately I’m using any Type of FOAM. Much better than mouse.
