Do more!!! I just got into pour painting and I realized how much paint you use so instead of the little bottles of acrylic paint that I had I got big bottles of the primary colors. So this helps me out so much
You made that so simple. I've watched other videos and they've been so cautious with the white. When you started with it, I said, "Yes!" Thank you for confirming what I was thinking.x
Great video. One way to show the different shades would be to get the paint to the desired color and dip a stick into the paint and set it aside. Then go onto the other shade and do the same with the stick. Placing the different shades side by side as you go might show the different shades you are creating out of one cup. Just my 2 cents.
I'm a beginner to the painting scene and your video has helped me a LOT. This one in particular because my first painting will be a try at a crashing wave, which needs this very color where the sunlight is coming through in the wave's crest. My goal is to be able to mix primary colors to get the colors I want/need. I have a color wheel and am learning to how to use it, but having you show me before I mess up a gob of paint is really pretty cool. I haven't viewed other videos by you, but I hope there are more on this important subject. Thank you so much for your time and effort to teach this invaluable lesson to an old wannabe artist. Definitely appreciated =)
Thank you for this video. I felt like I was wasting a lot of money on buying different colors of paint and never having enough. This solves my problem. Can't wait to see your next video.
I don’t know why I never thought of using Yellow. But I get this gorgeous deep dark teal using a lot of turquoise then I give it a good squirt of phthalo blue and then a little squirt of phthalo green. I guess it would be called a deep teal sort of. But I just love it and it’s my favorite color to paint with. Thanks for doing this. Would love to learn more.
This video is a great help! Automotive paint mixed specifically for many colors are very expensive! I'm looking to mix up artisan turquoise for my 1965 Chevy Biscayne. I'll be looking at other videos on a few other colors. Thanks for sharing!
Wow yellow and blue? Never would have guessed. I make decorative handmade pillar candles and a customer asked me for a turqouise and I for the life of me cannot make the color. I've been using blue and lime green. I'm going to try this now. Thank you so much
Thank you so much. I don't always have a great choice of colours in my small community and I have a difficult time finding turquoise and now I can make my own Yeahhhhh !!!!
Actually I bought a car which color is aqua green , no one could make this Color here in Pakistan. After searching and UA-cam and watching your vedio I'm very thankful of u
Thanks! I am not mixing paint, I work with an app. Now as I am attempting to express how I found this video helpful I realize that finding the words are not easy. I have had turq/aqua/teal/ Crayola® Crayon Sky Blue circa 1972 issues and I just know that this video helped me out. I LOVE the green through purple part of the spectrum and also warm pink, nearer to red. Teal is a particular favorite and I've wondered if my idea of teal fluctuates. Hope not. Thanks again! I sent this then went to your channel and saw that you mentioned Texas. I live where a first lady and a President were recently laid to rest with a young daughter at his Presidential library. Just mentioning it.
I liked your voice. Your personality really comes through here, from your voice. I will be honest and please take it as a compliment and not flirting. I got more intrigued about you because of your friendly voice and for first time I felt like I hope I can meet a person like you in real. I subscribed immediately. I am introvert and shy but something about your voice is really friendly and easy going which made me comfortable. Ps. Loved this video. No excessive chatting and to the point. I am glad you showed various ratios of each color. I really didn't knew how turquoise was made. Thankyou. Good going. :)
Is there a proper way to store the colors you mix? :0 I’m afraid of mixing too much paint and having it go to waste in the event that I don’t have enough of the color so I don’t have to spend hours trying to make the same one.
Have you ever mixed Amsterdam Pearl Acrylics? It seems to need less, if any white. And there are only 6 colors, not primary’s. I’m wondering how much green to blue for aqua ratio
Thank you so much. Your way doesn't confuse me at all, the best so far. I kindly ask you to do how to get orange with its different shades. Thank you in advance for your time and help. Best wishes.
I love color mixing videos and yours is awesome. Maybe if you put a dot of each shade and paint next to each other on a white surface we could see the differences better coz it’s not easy to get colors across on the camera as you said.. ❤️😍
Love that you made it so easy. Some people really complicate this process. Thank you
Do more!!! I just got into pour painting and I realized how much paint you use so instead of the little bottles of acrylic paint that I had I got big bottles of the primary colors. So this helps me out so much
Will do :)
You made that so simple. I've watched other videos and they've been so cautious with the white. When you started with it, I said, "Yes!" Thank you for confirming what I was thinking.x
Just watched your mix of white, blue and yellow! Just what I needed to get the turquoise i need to finish a painting! Thank you!!!

Great idea :)
And maybe write on the dtuck the amount of each colour and which mixture. Good idea

I believe if you add more yellow and lighten it with white you can also make the color sage.
I would add red to make sage :)
Thank you so much.
Your way doesn't confuse me at all, the best so far.
I kindly ask you to do how to get orange with its different shades.
