Much respect for raising awareness for bikers. I ride year-round and s*** is crazy.
Same bro. I ride all the time and rely on my bike. Cars are too expensive. But i do love when BMW nobs try to push me off the road or some shit and wanna pass me cause they think i’m slow for cruising 3-4 over the limit. Then when they start swerving and come up to my side i just blast off and laugh cause they can’t keep up with a 72hp 650 compared to their own tuned M3 with like 3-400hp😂 power to weight ratio and torque i’m shocked at how slow they are when trying to pass me with some dick riding only to see me slow them down a little before blasting off and disappearing from their line of sight. I love it and i laugh the crap out of myself every damn time. I do see some average morons too, but i usually just rev bomb or see if i can safely get them to pull over and just give them a friendly reminder that hey, that wasn’t a very wise decision. Please look out so we can avoid a next time yeah. And then i simply move along. If they’re real douches i call the police on my intercom and drop a little bit behind and update police on his/her whereabouts to stop them. Nevertheless awareness for bikers is good, and we need more of it. Even though a good rider will be able to avoid most situations before they occur, there are some cases where we are no longer in control of events. I’ve been there thrice. Hard braking in oil bc of impatient pedestrians thinking crossing red lights are a good idea when vehicles approach, second time a car just swerved into me despit clearly seeing i was there, and the third time some nobheads backed into me because they thought their tiny little mini car took up more space than a big ass semi. I’ve also stopped the cops a few time for distance violation as they were literally hauling ass. They were barely a few meters behind me in a 70 zone. I stopped them and literally asked them if they had any idea what they were doing. They responded yes and disagreed. I kindly asked are you feeling okay, he obviously didn’t like that and responded rudely with a comment saying he was just checking me out. I again said if you wanna check me out, then you better pull me over to ask what you want, you don’t ride up ass for that. And them he whimsed off a little and i asked furthermore if he had taken anything i should be aware of, drugs, specific food or even alcohol, cause clearly he was not aware he’d been riding my ass with barely 10 meters distance in a 70 zone where distance should be at least 58 meters at bare minimum. Obviously he didn’t take this lightly and wanted to drug test me. I laughed pretty hard and gladly did the test. I asked him to do the same and he refused. I then moved up to the police driver and asked him to please take the test himself. He was clear, and followed the instructions of his mentor as he was a rookie. I then told them both that either you pull me over if you got any issues or you back off. If you don’t back off, i’ll drag you 2, to the your districts police station and we’re gonna have good chat with your superiors and i will take your licenses myself and deliver them to the SVV (closest thing would be the road law administration or whatever you wanna call it) and they would terminate their license to legally operate any vehicle. Then they threatened me by forging my blow test, and i kindly replied, do you happen to have your license permit with you? (License permit is a document required as a side license in order to operate a vehicle on the job. Such as police, firetrucks, ambulances, and wheel loaders, crane trucks and other work related machines) they confirmed they did not have those in the vehicle and i asked if i should call the central and ask if they should dispatch another patrol to investigate them. They closed the windows and took off. I did report the incident to the nearest station, but i don’t kniw what happened further. Nevertheless, greatest police encounter i ever had😂

Except that he totally did all of the wrong things in this video. He was always trying to escalate the situation. You should always try and de-escalate. If it was a different person, they could just get out of their car with a weapon and kill you.
