    Looks easy …. My it’s steering hood to the right but once I give a little gas it’s tuff to go left but easy to the right and I gotta turn a lot when I’m idling for the boat to turn

      The prop causes that from rotating clockwise I'm pretty sure. Normal on most boats unless running twins.

      I have twin engine with same problem...easy right when moving but hard on left why is that??do i need to change fluid

    Nice video Paul. I must have a weird steering system I add air to my tank try to keep it at 35 psi. Right now it’s at 5 psi I need add some air. JT

    I would replace the old hydraulic fluid, different brand or contamined and refill with new oil. In your apllication both are now mixed.This is not good. I saw in another video , the guy there puts a "T" connection between the equalisation hose and another clear hose in and the old fluid flow here through out in another container high positioned. You must only care , that the new oil container newer be empty, avoid sucking air in the system.

    Would you normally expect the old steering fluid to be a different color to the new steering fluid.

      I don't like it that's for sure. I got the brand and type recommended. So far no issues. I'm not sure what was put in originally.
