That little lever is not the draft control, Ford calls it position control, but what it does is to toggle between draft and position control. Up to the 8N, Ford did not have position control in either the 9N or 2N. With the 8N Ford added position control by adding that little lever below the seat, and Ford named that lever "Position Control" lever.

Everything is great, but plow is not 100% as it should be, remember this if you want to plow the best you can plow (tractor must be in plowed ground ) your plow must be straight in every axis when you look behind the plow, so the main beam must be straight horizontally and beams that hold the furrows must be vertical straight

nicholas8nj Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! We will be attempting to make raised bed with the plow. I'll post a video on that. This is our first year doing some serious gardening so we are still learning. Its a lot of fun!

I have plowed many akers of ground in my 58 orbits having been born and raised in the berly belt started operating tractors very early at age 10 lots of time on the Ford 4000 and many many others I could show this guy a thing or two and I'm sure he could show me a thing or two
Leave your plowed ground lay a day then work it BUT you MUST pull a cultipacker or you will never have anything but lumps.
What is a cultipacker?
