This park actually seems like it would be hilarious to go to with a group of friends and still have fun at
From experience: it is
@@NorthernRidesYaBoiholy crap I’m a big fan of you
@@ageraa1. That means a lot!
Well well well, look who it is
@@Coastersnoot 😎
I'm surprised someone hasn't created an indie horror game about it yet 😂😂😂
There is candy though..
THATS WHAT I CAME HERE TO SAY 😭😭
Indigo park
YOU TALKING ABOUT MY COUNTRY SAYING ITS CONFUSING AND SCARY!!?!?!?
Hey bon bon! Go get ‘em!
To clarify, this isnt just a random park with a bunch if created characters its based on a very famous brand of Danish sweets, some of which have rude names like the dog fart sweets. This theme park has been really faithful to the outdated and kinda creepy artstyle the sweets have had for decades. Its actually really well done.
Thanks! Tha5t explains why it's called Bonbon Land
Yeah it just old no more not creepy❤
Im from Denmark and i can confirm this park is an absolute classic
and so am i and so can i
Yup, I remember the cheese ride most and the water spouts next to it.
So is Bakken
Yes
So nostalgic!!
The gerstlauer spinner was spinning faster than most flat rides
I love this. BonBon was actually a popular brand of candy in the 80’s and 90’s which this theme park is based on. The characters in this theme park were on the packaging.
They had candies like:
- “dyt i bamsen” (slang for s*x).
- “store babser” (big boobs - the candy was actually boobs).
- “silikoner” (play on words; silicone and “kone” meaning wife/woman, so silicone wives).
- “hundeprutter” (dog farts).
- “mågeklatter (seagull splats - meaning seagull poop).
- “rådne fisk” (rotten fish).
- “andemad” (duck food).
And many more, lol
Duck food candy was so goodddd
@@SliceOfPiee I love it as well. I always went after "rådne fisk" first and then "andemad" when there was a mix of BonBon candy. :))
I only know about BonBons because of Married With Children because Peggy loved them.. I just never actually saw any irl.
I found it odd that he didn't mention this when talking about the characters
One of the funniest BonBon candy names I came across was Bullshit xD
My wife's Danish and went here a lot as a kid. Shitpost of a theme park, lol.
Its fun tho!
I love when Denmark gets mentioned in videos, it always makes me happy. Mange tak min gode herrer (thanks a lot my good sir)
GO Danmark
“BAWN BAWN, GO G-G-G-GET ‘EM!!!”
This is all I could think after hearing “bon bon” 😭

Christmas is over. Back to theme parks
Pretty much 😂
They have a powered coaster that’s like 25 cars long it’s insane!! And does a ground turn only 2 ft off the ground where you reach over and try to pick up stuff the park puts in the grass!
Definitely not allowed in the US.
Cute quirky park we visited in August with Coaster Crew!
It aint powered but its train is insanely long. Its actually a former terrain coaster that was relocated from an amusement park in Germany that closed down.
Haha that’s so dangerous I love it
"BON BON, GO GET HIM!"
Funtime Freddy be like
FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT
I’m imagining Funtime Freddy throwing bonbon at someone while they’re both in the top of the drop tower and with Bon Bons weight it would instantly kill the person. Funtime Freddy would laugh maniacally.
“Water Rat Log Flume” is such an amazing name. I just love how crusty and scrungly that rat looks.
All the ride names are referring to a Bonbon candy with the same name
Even the dog fart one?
Ayy I love bon bons, I'm literally eating them right now.😂
@@2spky5me Yes. Heck Dog Farts were the original BonBon candy. Though its not being made anymore. The original owner of both the candy and the park, Michael Spangsberg, sold both in 2006. The Candybrand was bought by Toms who initially wanted to shut it down, but didnt after widespread public backlash. BonBon is still around but only 5 kinds remain out of the 30+ there were back in the day. Those 5 being
Rotten Fish
Sewage Sludge
Seagull Shit
Duck Food
and Junkyard mix.
The Water rat flume ride is actually themed around 2 of the surviving candies, specirically Sewage Sludge and Junkyard mix, since its themed around a rathole in the sewers full of junk and their rat society's junkyard economy.
@@2spky5meyes and if what to see what it looks like, just Google "hundeprutter"
Splash Mountain is already nightmare fuel
*was😢
“Bon bon! Go get em!”
God, watching this brings back so many memories. Going to Bonbon land was the highlight of summer vacation for me as a child.
Even the commercial for the theme park was wacky.
If you don't know, most rides are based on candies that are made by BonBon
Bonbonland's a certified hood classic
I love the bonbon salt liquirice candies but I didn't know they had a theme park 🤯
Your pronunciation is a bit off. It says “bon” but we pronounce it “bong” like the one you smoke “grass” with
Just say bong twice after each other really fast like bongbong
That’s how most of us in Denmark say it (idk about jutland though they are special)
You forgot the most important part they make their own candy also sold in stores nationwide
I grew up very close to this place and went there more times than I can remember. Never have I known a place that could spread as much simultaneous joy and fear as Bonbonland.
It's pure insanity, and that somehow keeps it open.
I can just imagine Henry the dog doing a diarrhea sound effect.
It does indeed play farting sound effects
YES
Who let Funtime freddy and Bon Bon create a theme park
XD yay Also someone who had to think of fnaf xD (but also had to laugh because of Henry the dog)
This park used to be fun, now its just another funpark🤷🏻♀️ back in the days you could make your own candy and everything was taken Care of around the park, now its just exspensive, and has nothing to do with the candy and fun it used to be..
New mascot horror just dropped
I tried the BEOND vertical ride (vildsvinet) and, the trick is just to keep your head still or else your head will hit the sides of your seat.. And you might have a mild headache if it happens😅
Bro imagine the security guard😂
This is what I imagine it would look like if the OneyPlays gang opened up a theme park. I mean they literally have a ride called the WATER RAT LOG FLUME
if you look at the sign for the dog fart coaster the speed is listed as “top fart” 😂😂😂
I actually live in Denmark
That drop tower also exist in tripsdrill Germany
I can’t describe how happy it makes me that edgy mid-90s danish children’s humor lives on and continuously surprises hapless americans due to this theme park.
If I were able bodied & wealthy enough to travel, this would 100% be on my bucket list
Been there as a child and it was awesome. Now, 20 years later, I still have wonderful memories.
I am from Denmark and when I was younger I went to Bonbon land a lot, the rides are actually inspired by candies, because Bonbon land used to make candies and still do. Hundeprutten ( the dog fart) is an actual candy that Bonbon land makes.
Have you gone to silver Dollar City in Branson Missouri? Their kettle corn is to die for 🤤
They also have a lot of really fun rides and things to do in the theme is overall beautiful so I would totally recommend trying it out
If that theme park goes abandoned then it will be a scary find one day
So in today's videos, I will be getting my 722nd roller coaster credit, Dog Fart Roller Coaster
I wish it could have been my 500th 😭
Im from Denmark i always Go to bonbon land every year and have a blast
I immedeately recognized it, we went there and me and my mom thought it was very bizarre and kinda weird, but the attractions where very quite fun! (I was younger at the time though)
Bro found the backrooms of theme parks..😶
Oh I have something to tell you. They used to have something even more backrooms like. Next to the entrance is a big warehouse. That used to be home to a second gate attraction called Fantasy World. A whole indoor mini amusement park and themed space full of dioramas and rides with fantasy themed settings. But it was creepy as all hell. It had originally opened in 1990 in a completely different location in a nearby town called Ringsted. But in 2006 it was bought by BonBon Lands owner of the time and everything was moved into buildings next to BonBon lands entrance in 2007. In 2017 I went to the park and only 2 sections of Fantasy World were still available to the public. The Candyland area and the Astronaut area. Both were creepy but the long closed off hallways between them with the occassional broken animatronic and faded coloured walls with cartoon cutouts were something else. It did legitimately look like something out of a Five Nigths at Freddys game. By 2018 Fantasy World shut down!
@@drdewott9154I loved that place as a kid. Especially the astronaut playground. Me and my cousin would spend hours there while our parents patiently waited. Nostalgia.
I was just like.. wait isnt this bonbon land. Oh its is
dane here
the translated words for the two notable coasters you mentioned would be 'the boar' and 'the tomcat'
i hope this helps :)
We getting out of the Sister Location with this one!
“SOMEONE DIED HERE”
“who”
“A PERSON THEY GOT SCARED TOO MUCH”
“welp my mind said it’s ok tho”
I think the concept of a slapstick cartoon theme park if done with a proper budget would be so amazing imagine the animatronics
As a danish that park is my whole childhood, they even made a cd a while ago with songs just as crazy and satire like the park. Some of the goofy animals is even on the album as artist(in danish tho). Legend park!!!!❤🇩🇰
Oh man you should've seen it in it's prime - 2015-2016. The characters were not mossed up, and it had so much more color and joy.
They started back in the 90s... they were making candy with those funny names.... the park came later...
Imagine going here while you’re tripping balls
You know, as a dane, I've never actually thought of this place as bizarre or creepy. I just think of it as a place for smaller kids
The toilet humor is not as bad as what Disney is sharting out these days. 🚽🚽🚽
I have been here and this park has it’s own lore. The bon bon company started in the 70’s and 80’s with selling candy then in the 90’s they made bon bon land but now they were bought out by tom’s another Danish candy, producer.
This looks super fun! Especially that coaster that spins you around
That spinning ride looks masterfully built
I live literally right near this. Like 10 minutes away. Seeing a park that's IMMEDIATELY familiar was so wild. I was literally shocked and said out loud "That's BonBon Land!" It's a relatively well known park in Denmark, especially locally, but we have a lot of much larger parks, so just seeing this "small park" in a very successful music video is so weird to me lmao':) I have never seen a non-Danish video on this, and genuinely never thought I would lmao. Please keep it up!:)
As a dane and theme park nerd this park is a classic, but BAAAD compared to Bakken or Tivoli Gardens. The statues always freaked me out as a kid and the toilet humour is embrarrasing to even be around
Still waiting for the mascot horror game
Bon bon land looks like the vision of a dying teletubby under too many blankets
I used to go a lot as a kid. Can confirm it is very fun. Other themeparks in Denmark are Tivoli (the big classic) and Bakken
In french, the park litterally translated to candy land as "bonbon" is the translation of candy. In french but the proper word less use in french is "confiserie".
the dropper that leans forward reminds me of a dropper i rode on in sweden. It wasn’t very tall but it tilted you 90 degrees at the top before you drop so when it drops you’re forced to look at the ground. I don’t know if i fainted or if it was another fear reaction but i remember when the ride was over i just stayed in the seat for a bit with my eyes closed unable to move and the employee had to ask my sister if i was ok. I got out of the seat and my whole body felt so weak and numb.
“Exodia!”
“Ah! A lighter?”
We confusing Yugi with this one

A SPINNING ROLLERCOASTER, EXCUSE ME WHAT.
genuinley the first time ive seen something like that, that exists
I would love to ride on that unironically
Ok, but tilting forward on a ride before the ride when you don’t expect it is TERRIFYING!! I had that happen on a roller coaster, where I was completely strapped in, overhead bar, coming down and everything. Before the main ride, they pulled us backwards at a right angle, and I was small enough that I felt forward against my restraints. Not much, but even an inch or two is terrifying if you aren’t expecting it 😂😂
I still made my cousins go on it again
Bonbon land is actually originally from Slik which was popular in the 1990s and 00s. and they made candy cheeky candy and that's what the park is built around.
but today you don't sell the cheeky candy bags as people have become sensitive and are quickly offended over nothing
But i love Bonbonland is fun place to be❤
It's like it was purposely designed to be weird, freaky, a little scary and crass because people are so fucking uptight usually that it's nice to escape into something that just takes the mind away.
A fun fact about this park, is that it was one of the only parks for a long time in Denmark, where you only had to pay to get in, and then all the rides were free!
Many parks adopted the idea later on, but it was definitly the parks biggest selling point, as many families would just pay the entry, sit down with a picknick set somewhere, and just let their kids run around like they pleased!
My brother and i could spend literal hours in the park without seeing our parents as we rode the rides, only going back to them if we were hungry or tired...
I come from denmark and bonbon is another word for hard candy
Post partum Fishtank depression already hitting
The fact that the whole top of the free fall structure shakes when u get tilted
Splash mountain is already nightmare fuel 😭😭
Im from denmark and as someone who goes there 1-2 times a year i Can confirm it is so fun
I wish I could ride stuff like this. I have an extreme fear of heights. Going really fast is also pretty scary but not as bad as the heights. My mom was extremely overprotective and never let me ride anything except for a handful of kiddie rides and wouldn’t even let me go on big slides at playgrounds which is probably why I’m so afraid of all of this stuff now. I’ve attempted to go on a couple rides since becoming an adult and each time it went horribly 😭
All fun and games till they put up applications for a night guard
I might be a little used to six flags, but it’s fascinating to see a theme park as an actual park with a theme
I've been there on vacation! Wildswinet has a camera that takes the picture right after a loop and for the longest time my family had a photo in their camper van. My Dad all chill and laid back on the ride. Me looking off to the side. And then my sister with her mouth and eyes wide open in shock like the scream painting 😱
My dad is a technician at this park, never thought I'd see it featured on my youtube recommended
If this ever becomes abandoned this shit would go off
I just kept going “whoa…Whoa…WHOA!!!”
You see the fun thing is when I was a child. I went to that theme park and everything was shining new and wonderful to look at but now everything‘s rundown, and dilapidated, and it kind of lost its charm in my opinion
Visit "bakken" next, there you will find a Rollercoaster that spins much faster, and the world's oldest Rollercoaster made out of wood
Theres no way the Crow Tree isn't gonna be in the next video reporting it's malfunction and deaths associated.
Go to alton towers
Not mentioning Svend Svingarm (Svend Swingarm) is a crime.
If a theme park ever becomes an evil mascot horror scene come to life, I'm going to assume it happened right here.
For real though, this park should partner with a game company and make a mascot horror game like FNAF security breach, poppy playtime, and my friendly neighborhood.
If done right, it would be an international boom of publicity since games like that are pretty popular currently.
This theme park haunts me. In a picture frame on my parents wall, there is a photo of young me next to that black dog statue. I have never had any memories of going to this theme park. We have never been to denmark. I have asked all my family members, and we have never been abroad. I live in the UK. To this day, i dont know how this photo came into existence.
Bonbon was a huge candy company in denmark in the 1990ˋs
BonBon inspired by a brand of hard candy called BonBon and all The rides have their own sucker. I especially enjoy The DogFart. Its soo good.
As a dane, this theme park honestly doesn’t look bad since i’ve never been here but “Kragetræet” looks pretty good!
this is the typa theme park you see in the analog horrors about murders cults and freak accidents
I used to love vildsvinet when i was a child, i still do, but the sad thing is That it’s almost looks like That the park is deteriorating. Wish it was restored to formor glory.
The beyond vertical drop was first done at Thorpe Park in the Uk and it’s the ride for the Saw movies franchise. So you’re wrong there
This just became an instant bucket list item for me.
This is what I grew up with. Hearing someone call it creepy is actually kinda funny, since it’s my childhood XD
But now that you say it, I can see why it would be creepy hahaha
As a person living 5 miles from it i can confirm that it is very fun with friends
Im a dane who lives 5 minutes away from that park and I can confirm it all. It makes me happy to see foringers enjoying the lesser known country
As a dane im happy that you had a fun experience in Bonbon land.
This park is pretty dear to us, in its own special way.
