The first coaster I went on in my life was the Yukon striker and I was still quite young and man that put me through 6 stages of fear. The minebuster is worst than going 100 on on a busted Detroit road.

I had a similar experience last year
My dad's job let him get a free daypass for Canada's wonder land .
I had never been on a roller coaster before so me and my dad wanted to do something easy.
So we saw this old timey building and we went in since we assumed it to be another ride. The operater put us at the front of the ride and it started to move
Me and my dad had an "oh shit" moment
As we plummeted. My dad had forgotten to take off his new hat and mid ride my dad said " D my hat gone" 😅
After that I was too scared to go on any other big ride safe to say my dad was also upset because he didn't have his hat anymore.
We still had a good day but I'm never going to Canada's wonderland again 😂.
EDIT* we had signed up for that photograph thing so I still have a really funny picture of us looking terrified 🤣.

@@Beanz-xj8kkTrue Only Yukon Striker and Especially Behemoth and Leviathan are the Stars of the Show here and the reasons to visit this park in the first place as an Enthusiast or Regular Thrill Seeker Guest but my thing that I wonder every day is how would Canada’s Wonderland’s Coaster most importantly but as well as their Flat Thrill Ride Collection Lineups look like Today if Cedar Fair Took complete Ownership of this park first back in the 2000’s before all the other ones and poured a little bit of TLC Money Love into this park like say during the early 2000’s and mid to late 2000’s before the Great Recession period of 2009-2010 kicked in and removed some of these weakling styled of poor Quality coasters like say the Bat or then called Tombraider and then called Flight Deck and added a couple of Awesome Quality very original European style Flat Rides in the Bat’s Location and two massively higher Quality mid tier possibly Dueling coasters in Flight Deck and Tombraider’s plot of lands since they are basically sitting next to each other since they where added decades ago and I will tell you what would happen it could easily today or throughout the 2010’s grow into a Seconday Cedar Point Styled park just with better flats and better supporting coasters than it has today anyone else feel the same way as me comment yes or no below and your reasoning as to why in detail why you agree or disagree with my Highly Detailed Paragraph Statement Comment Peace out

The Yukon Striker really needs to be seen in person to really understand how terrifying it is. It literally holds you at the top of a peak, staring down all the way to the ground, then after a few seconds, drops you onto a 90 degree drop that plunges into a dark tunnel.
It's honestly really fun to go, and I've went a few times with my parents who still call a bunch of the rides by their Paramount names. There's still some rides I wanna try, but never the Yukon Striker lol. My top three favourites of the rides I've been on would be Flight Deck, Thunder Run, and one of the wooden rides, I'm fairly sure the Minebuster. Flight Deck (or Top Gun, which is what I've heard it called as plenty of times) is just a chaotic fun one, Thunder Run is just a fun, standard coaster, and Minebuster, while not excessively fast or anything, has some decent "drops" while feeling like the whole ride is gonna collapse at any moment lol

Ik i went and we were first row and the way they make you look down for like 6 seconds was sooo crazy and dont get me started about the drop.
I would never have predicted a Premier launch for their next coaster, but it could work out quite nicely.

A few years back we took a buddy's ex on leviathan as her first coaster. She was terrified of coasters and we put her front row. She vowed never to ride again but was happy she did it.

Behemoth and Yukon got a single rider line (behemoth’s single rider line can be pretty slow tho) and if you hit leviathan at the beginning at park opening or closing it’s faster
getting on the fly quickly is the craziest part lol
IKR THAT LINE IS IKE SO LONG
The best days for blitzing some coasters is when you get a torrential downpoar that clears up after a half-hour. So many people abandon the park in that kind of rain that you won't really have any lines worth mentioning afterwards. Just remember to wear swim shorts if so you'll dry out faster.

I did 30 some rides in July last year...
Yeah- I went to cedar point and I didn’t get to ride all the coasters since the park shut down- lol even the flat rides were closed and it got people in the arcade and food stands.
Now go to a crowded roller coaster lines and wait for six hours to get on one lmao
As a Canadian that lives very close to Vaughan I was very happy to see this.
Leviathan and Behemoth are by far the best two coasters. When you go hands up on the drop, you're literally floating.

Cedar Fair changed the rules this year, now you can ride all the kids coasters.
My dad took me in the 80's when I was a little kid...just me and him. Dragonfly and the Beast were my two first roller coasters ever. He passed in 1989. This just reminded me of that day. Im surpised the Beast is still there, it was sketchy even back then.
Yukon striker ignites true primal fear that you need to be there to understand
If you during a school day you can get through it all. And fast pass can help. I’ve done them all in one day and did Yukon 3 times :)
15 years ago, it used to be possible to ride them all in a few hours if you went at park opening...as soon as Fast Past came around, pshhhh.....good luck getting to half of them.

Yes it is! Arrive at opening time, break for 30 minutes for Lunch. Avoid all other rides! coasters all day. We did it in October when crowds were smaller.
When I was a young lad 13-15 years old, my best friend and I got season passes and went during summer break on mondays and weds. We rode minebuster 13 times in a row, drop zone 5 times in a row, went to each ride and rode the ones we wanted all day. Water park finish at 2pm and we went home. Now its pay for the fast lane... pay for the extra fast lane... or wait 3 hours for one ride.
I’ve gone with fast lane plus on a day where there weren’t even supposed to be crowds, and still waited like an hour for each of the big three. It’s even worse now, because for 2/3, you pay for the fast lane plus, but you can only skip half the line.
20 minute line up for YUKON STRIKER!!?? ITS NORMALLY 3 HOURS

The bat gave me whiplash as a kid. Always loved the ghoster coaster. Something about how shakey and unstable the whole think feels
If you do this in the fall on a cold day prior to Haunt, you could easily do this challenge x3 in the front of every coaster
I remember doing this once like 3 years ago. It was pretty easy because there were still some COVID restrictions (it caused less people to come to the park) and I went in May so the lines weren’t that long.
I always make it a point to take every coaster in CWL every visit starting in my teens, which was tough with the infamous lineups in the 90s. I feel coasters started to lose their hype in recenr years, so not much of a challenge nowadays. Plan your day, and have fun.
..... the lines were WORSE before now??? It's madness now and it's 45 minute waits at least without a fast pass

I know a secret way to not wait in line for hours to be able to ride EVERY ride in Canada’s Wonderland in ONE DAY and NO it’s NOT fast lane AT ALL in less than the time he mentioned. And YES it DOES WORK I have done it 3 TIMES this year and STILL WORKING 😎

One of the first “scary” rides was that one axe ride at canadas wonderland when I was 7 - 9 ish. The girl sitting right in front of me was so nice and even gave me gum but I literally had the 1000 yard stare nearly the entire time. No screaming or talking, I was just in a pure state of fear 😂
as a person that has been over 4 times in one year i can say that Canada's wonderland is very fun they have some nice and easy rides to match with the intense big three and there is a new coaster coming up it is a booster coaster that is taller that leviathan, it is so long that they have to have multiple carts otherwise it would take to long this coaster has i think 7-8 inversions and goes at-least 20ft over one point of vortex people dont understand that Canada has like no places like Canada's wonderland because its called Canada's wonder land not like lets say quebec's wonderland. ps-Canada's wonderland is underated go try it out for yourself if you are hating

I went to Canada's wonderland for the first time and the first ride me and my friends went on was the Leviathan- But i think my favorite ride was the Behemoth and Vortex!
I LOVE the dragon fyre and the fly SO much love this theme park.

A few years ago,my cousin and our friend went a week after they opened (we took some edibles before we entered the park, and snuck in some sandos 🥪).
Because it was a weekday, and most people were still in school, the lines were super short! We rode the behemoth 3 times in a row because the line was short enough for us to stay on lmaoo

My favourite roller coaster from Canada’s Wonderland bemoth and. Yukon striker.
I worked there for a summer and I got hella close with 15-16 in one day, I started off at 8 am worked from 10-2 and spent the rest of the day till 6 riding rides
Without a fast pass that is impressive.

when I went to canada's wonderland me and my friend ripped the leviathan around 20 times, we rode behemoth once (the line was long as hell) and we rode the yukon striker probably 8 times.
Memorable shout outs to coasters no longer there.... blauer enzian was an original og figure 8 flat coaster on opening day in 1981, which was used to eventually build thunder run. Then there was the matterhorn which was close to the current location of klockwerks. Klockwerks had a different location on opening day as well. Next coaster wouod be a water coaster called zoomba flume which was located where timewarp currently sits, it eas deacent but too much to maintian as it aged....and last but not least would be skyrider. A togo built coaster where it was getting toihher ti maintian as reolacemt parts were getting tought to get. Dragon fyre which 3 trains active until the bat took one when it was built...mindbuster and wild beast were their biggest attractions on opening day. Amazing watching this park transform.

YES THEY HURT SO BAD. Top Gun, Timewarp, Dragon Fyre, and The Bat suckkk 😭 and 5-20 minute lines are possible with a combination of when school is happening (most of the lines are teens) and bad weather
(sometimes if you’re super lucky, Yukon won’t have any line at all. Can confirm.)

Yukon Striker is the best - surprisingly smooth and scary at the same time. We are an annual pass holder and that is our must do every time. I hate the rattling wooden roller coasters and Vortex is also too rough for me.
I managed to ride every roller coaster in energylandia in one day, it was raining in the morning and the longest queue was 30 minutes.
Yes it is because I've done it multiple times I've ridden every ride multiple times a day even in the kid land, I'm usually there from when it opens at 10 am to 10 pm

You definitely got lucky with the rain, normally there's no way you'd hit all 18 coasters in 7 hours. Heck on a busy day the big 3 would likely take an hour each.
That said, if you have a seasons pass the rainy days are the best. Best case is the park is quiet and lines are short, worst case is the rain gets heavier and you just eat funnel cakes and wait it out!

I'm glad that after years of suffering with Paramount being cheap on rollercoasters we have had a major increase in everything with Cedar Fair. Since Behemoth in 2008 we've seen changes for the better. Can't wait to see the 2025 addition to the park. Eventually we will continue to lose Time Warp and Flight Deck to newer better things and the other horrible clones that came with Paramount. Wonderland has so much potential. Especially with all the unique one of a kind flat rides in the lineup. Thankfully not all clones were bad. Votex is an amazing attraction.
I've been on that same bridge where you took the photo or video of the waterfall it's awesome there but the arcade is a scam
