I’ve been on this ride so many times, this is literally the most boring part of the coaster! the scariest part is where you go straight up and almost upside-down as it looks like debris is falling towards you. they also stop you right in front of a fire.
The beginning when it pulls you up from a 90° degree angle feels beyond crazy compared to other roller coasters, your body literally feels like it's going to fall out of the seat as it lifts you up! I would go on it again!
I iron shark at pleaseure peer is worse it’s completely straight up and down and it’s takes you higher and then right after you go straight down It’s so fun tho but it feels like your gunna fall out
If anyone says this ride is tame or a family ride they are very wrong. If anyone doesn’t know this ride has a second part with a 95° drop that goes into a barrel roll and then a dive loop
It’s a pretty intermediate coaster, few inversions and the drop is very short. It doesn’t really compare to rides like nemesis, smiler and oblivion at Alton towers
I was there the week this ride opened. Me and my mom waited over 2 hours in line for it and we loved it! I’ve rode it many times over the years since then.
The mystery mine before it was remodeled had a screen where the roof was made to look like it was caving in on you. Still one of my favorites at dollywood
For all of you saying that this ride isn’t scary. I’ve actually rode this coaster myself and that part that was shown was the boring part of it. Some parts of it are pitch black with bat noises and other eerie noises. There is also one part where you go upside down.
this ride is great, fun, and not scary but it is pretty painful. my two cousins and i all had extreme headaches after our first ride through because our heads kept getting slammed between the head protection thing they have since it isn't just a headrest. there's also protection on the sides of your head
That actually looked pretty cool, and ive been on higher vertical drops, like, the Himalayan mountain coaster in Disney. To me amyway, it was a more scary. Lol
@@OnTheRailwayOfficial Agreed. I Coasters don't have to be tall to be intense (Maverick), but if it has "Mine" in the name it is probably a family coaster.
Y’all this ride is at Dollywood and it’s called the mystery mine if anyone wants to look it up. It’s actually the second scariest ride there. This first part is like a kids coaster but after that you go straight up again but a lot higher than what is in this video and then there is a real vertical drop. The end of the coaster has a loop but you go upside down and ride upside down for a few seconds.
this coaster is a genuine surprise at Dollywood. It looks small and not thrilling, but its definitely fun. One of the better coasters at the park for sure
This ride is so deceptive, not only because of the wild inclines inside the mine that you can’t see and also wild drops inside it But because it’s advertised as family friendly…. We were asking some of the park workers which coasters and riders were more family friendly bc we have a handicap person in our family but yeah, that one scared the hell out of him and it’s 100% not family friendly, we even told them he was handicap but yet they continued with their narrative of it being “family friendly”, even for handicap people.
thats Dollywood! My kids have ridden this numerous times. Not me, though. Mom doesn't have the equilibrium for rollercoasters at my big age 😂 Dollywood is an awesome park for adventurous kids because there several coasters they can ride at relatively short height (regular, not kids ones) . We went to Carowinds and were so disappointed when camp snoopy was closed due to understaffing and there was hardly anything else they could ride. Ended up roasting in line for an hour, to ride the ancient "himalaya" (the spinning ride that's at every park). What a scam lol My husband buys us season passes for Dollywood for Christmas. Even if you don't do rides, the lights, food, shows and shops are totally worth it. Plus there are a lot of gentle/kid rides that adults can get on (i unapologetically ride the frogs and fireflies, while my kids whine they want to get on the dragonflier), and not to mention the Dollywood Express train!
Near vertical drop? Lmao this is a mild coaster the only scary thing about it is the aesthetic looks like it was put together by some guys in a backyard
“Don’t watch if you’re scared of roller coasters” number one, that was the lamest roller coaster ever. Number two, why tf can’t you watch it if you’re scared of roller coasters?? Nothing bads gonna happen to you
I must’ve missed the near vertical drop…
There used to be a vertical drop there... You can still see it, but they diverted the track
@@summerdavis5444Where though? I've played this about 500 X and I don't see anything resembling a vertical drop or anything that once was.
@@dave_dave right when it finishes crossing the track
@@dave_daveI guess arguably any drop is 'NEAR' vertical 🤣. More so than staying horizontal 🤷🏻♂️😂
I think it fell of the truck in Sandusky😴

I miss the old version of the ride tbh.
This is my FAV ride at Dollywood! It is epic from the music, to the surroundings, just perfect!
They took away the fire

The macks?
they showed the most boring part of the ride...
this is only one portion of the ride, it’s pretty intimidating i have been on it! i love it so muchh

this is nothing compared to Hollywood rip rocket, you will feel like you are going to fall out of your seat
I like the fire part of mystery mine the best myself
Fahrenheit at Hershey park is 121ft straight up and straight down. Has a standard lift hill
Mystery Mine at Dollywood, would’ve been my favorite, if it wasn’t so shaky💀 thought i was gonna break my neck
Fr the headbanging
That head bang is so ugh 🤧😒
I LOVE MYSTERY MINE BETTER THAN ANY OTHER COASTERS THERE
It is a VERY UNCOMFORTABLE RIDE more RUFF than THRILLING!
Bro I literally got stung by a bee while riding this one 😂
“Don’t watch if you’re scared of rollercoasters”
*one of the tamest coasters videos I’ve ever seen*
Just think how confident the engineers are when they built this!!!
Because they knew they weren't going to ride it

he didn’t show the other big drop and the part where it goes upside down 2-3 times .
bros desperate 💀
Like beggar 💀💀
Cry about it kid
The way up was way scarier than the actual ride😭
Love the part where we actually saw the near vertical drop
@EasonWang-pm5rw barely
Actually the main drop is 95 degrees or beyond verticle

@@Heavenzvoice yeah its really dumb they should have showed the actually interesting part
@Heavenzvoice Thats the only good part tho, and even thats just "alright".
Boy I'm from this place it really is a easy ride the only hard bits are going up for some people it hurts there head/get light headed
It’s a pretty intermediate coaster, few inversions and the drop is very short. It doesn’t really compare to rides like nemesis, smiler and oblivion at Alton towers
If your wondering, this rollercoaster is called Mystery Mine in Dollywood in Tennessee.
Ok ty
I was wondering! Thanks for the information! 😀
I was just about to comment that! But while I'm here, have any of you been on this ride, I have!
I love the mystery mine it's one of my favorites!
i loved this roller coaster i was there about 10 years ago
That was a pretty cute drop, was expecting more something like on the Saw ride
the easiest ride I have ever seen 😂😂

they remolded it?!? noo!! i love that ride
Now it’s a tower falling on you
I think they put it back, because I rode it 2 months ago and it was there
I don’t like roller coasters, but I think I’ll ride this one
They didn’t even show the actual drop. That coaster is awesome
If i was on this roller coaster i will be more worried about choking on air then the roller coaster itself
For all of you saying that this ride isn’t scary.

@JJBrothers2admig the part that was shown was the outside part that went over the sidewalk connecting the drop tower area and the fire rollercoaster
Riding it at night at Christmas times is amazing idk.
You raised it up? You must be so strong!
🤣
Jk
I’m pretty sure it goes upside down twice but ok
@@mochispartan1532 it doesn’t it only goes upside-down once

Kind of like the Judge Roy Bean at six flags. So many hard turns that it is more painful that exciting.
my rides were semi smooth but i also braced in the rough so it wasn’t as bad. just the turn before the send lift stinks
My anxiety just from watching rn 📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈

That's not even bad I went on the biggest roller coaster in the southern hemisphere
For people who don’t know what the roller coaster is, it is called Mystery Mine at Dollywood. Nashville, Tennessee
Bro that’s nothing. You should try oblivion at Alton towers…
This ride has a drop thats steeper than oblivion
@@avg1005 Bro I can literally tell from the video that that drop is like 75°. Plus it’s probably about as tall as my house lmao. Boring.

That ride in DW is one step up from a kiddie coaster. Been there dozens of times.
The scariest thing was the noise

You expect that more than 90° S bend after the top of the lifthill and then it doesn't. Still an exciting ride though i guess.
Guys guys guys, maybe the near vertical drop is the friends we made along the way 🥺
The only part of the ride that would scare me is going up
The funniest part was when banban was beating up nabnab in gobb 4
I'm scared of roller coasters but i am not afraid of watching vids of them
That vertical drop was barely anything. I'm saying that as someone who's extremely scared by rollercoasters.

The fact that they didn’t put the big drop on there
