I’m glad you had a great time. Your new bag is just gorgeous. Love your videos.
Thank you so much! We had a wonderful time. I appreciate you being here. xox
Thank you for posting about your trip Lori! I used to work at Marks and Spencer in London, so understand what it means to want to shop in Harrods! I think you might enjoy "A Woman of Substance" by Barbara Taylor Bradford - reimagines a similar store empire being set up by a young Yorkshire scullery maid at the turn of the century. (20th not 21st lol). The protagonist, Emma Harte, was one of my major inspirations to start my reselling business where I could, and build it😊
I also got my first Mulberry this year, from Posh. My mother always cherished her Mulberry, and that pebbled texture and plaid lining has so many memories!
Looks like you had a great time. What a wonderful experience!
So glad you're back! Missed you. Great video and finds. I love Harrod's too!
Thank you for thew video Lori. I thrift 1-2 times a year in Europe, most Germany & London Areas, as I am from the UK, and can tell you charity shops are the way to go, as Vintage shops are for the most part priced at going rates. I Thrift in Jordan also once a year, where the prices are SOOOO low, as they receive pallets from US Thrift stores, pallets that go back 20 years even that are still wrapped to open !!! Its crazy ! But fun.
Yay that you are back! Vacations are the best! Love your mulberry items! You can tell through the camera that the lululemon pants are high quality!
This was such a happy video Lori...You have stars in your eyes!! I've been to London several times as I lived in Europe for 10 years. I always loved shopping at Harrods. The items you got on sale where a real find. M&S and Selfridges are also very nice. Your Mulberry bag is gorgeous! and the size is just perfect. So glad you and Jay made time to go to the theater. Next trip, you may want to go see The Mousetrap. It's been on for some 100 years now. Welcome home!
My husband’s uncle lives in Utrecht! The Netherlands is so beautiful!
We really enjoyed Utrecht! My husband biked all around while I taught my workshop. He loved it! I'd love to go back!
You are so creative. I love your journaling picture. What a great experience for you.
What a great trip!! Wonderful bags you picked up. Thanks for sharing Lori:)
Like others have said, you are literally glowing. It is obvious that your soul was fed & I am so happy for you:). I am happy to see this video from you, however, as I was getting worried & kept checking your channel to see if you had posted. Thanks for sharing, Lori. Great video! 😊❤
Thank you for checking on me Linda. I was feeling like a fish out of water not posting for so long, but it was a nice break for me.
I have wanted a Mulberry bag for years, back when I first saw a beauty influencer talk about them probably in 2013 or 2014. The bag you got is absolutely gorgeous!!
Love Harrods. Love having tea there too The first time so was there was pone week after Princess Di was killed. That was quite an experience
Glad you had such a lovely time, Lori.
Ceylon is the old colonial name for Sri Lanka, a country off the southern tip of India.
How fun to be able to shop around the world! Thanks for sharing your experience. Cool music in this video👍
Really enjoyed this video and your bag is gorgeous. I love Harrod’s!
A few years ago my husband and I were in London and stayed in a hotel around the corner from Harrods. He got sick and was stuck in bed so I bought all of our meals from the Harrod’s food market. It was expensive but delicious.
Omg. What an awesome splurge. The Mulberry purse is glorious and the fountain pens are so cool. I didn't know about your second channel but I am definitely checking it out.
Glad you had a great trip...missed your videos!
Loved this video!! You are so happy and upbeat. I watch but never comment but I had to on this one.
While thrifting last year I was lucky to find a Harrods coat. It was absolutely beautiful. I think I paid $8 for it. Your purse is gorgeous!!
England drinks tea, Europe drinks coffee. My traveling days I watched Rick Steves, so I could blend in with locals. Beautiful new bag, good simplified haul. I recently purchased a Great down slime line reversible puffer jacket in powder blue/bone. The colours are not in my lane, which is black or drab for winter - but it was 75% off. In the cash out everyone congratulated me on my purchase.
How about a video on handbags and the move to find better value and quality
And the second coming of Coach!👜👜👜👛👜👜
I was going into withdrawals!! Glad your back and again loved your video!!Give Lumpy a big hug from Ohio
Glad you had a fabulous trip! I watch Hannah Ricketts on YT. She lives in London and does 2x/ week videos of sights and shopping and museums, etc. Often will do afternoon teas with her sister at different places. Fun to watch(if you haven seen her al). Hugs and scratchies to Lumpy ❣️🐾🐾 I love your sketches! Very talented!
I'll definitely check her out! She sounds like fun! I couldn't believe all of the great options for afternoon tea! London is such a special city! Thanks for watching! Hugs from Lumps!
@@LorisBostonFoundThx, Lori(and Lumpy)! Hannah is definitely fun to watch!
I did enjoy your video. I really liked your choices at Mulberry. I love London!
I went to a couple of the same thrift stores when I was in London in the fall 😎. Agree tons of Levi’s and Doc Martens. Scored a couple Burberry deals but most things I comped were already priced higher in the thrift stores I was in. Had a few great finds in Paris at the huge weekend market there too.
I liked the mini too. Good thing you got it plus all the other stuff as well. Glad you had a great time on your trip. 😊
I haven't been since I was in my 20s, but I loved going to Harrod's. Mulberry is an excellent brand and those bags you picked out are classy and beautiful. I would have gone with the mini too. Congratulations!
Dear Lori , you had a blast with the pretty boys at Harrod's and you certainly made their day. Very beautiful Mulberry bags , that other bag on clearance is a wonderful birthday present too. In Amsterdam they have some big halls for clothing, less.curated and also cheaper. They also have stalls in some places. I would love to go.
I went to Harrods back in 2003. We lived in Portugal for 3 years and traveled Europe a lot. We made the mistake of going to Harrods on their biggest sale of the year!! What a mad house. But what fun!!
What a fun video!! So glad you enjoyed your visits! A few years back I went to Dublin and Galway. I found what they referred to as a curiosity shop that was a thrift store! It was so fun!! Your bag is beautiful!
Thank you Brenda! It's fun to see what thrifting is like in different places!
Hi Lori. Glad you had a great time in Europe. I went to Harrod's about five years ago. It was spring/summer time and they had a lot of pretty colorful clothes in the store. But, I noticed that nobody was buying the colors. Everyone was in grey or black. I felt out of place wearing something bright. Loved Harrod's.
LOLd at Jay's Boston shirt! I think you can turn back all the unused foreign dollars at a federal bank. Prob have to got to Boston for that, not sure. Great video!
I remember going to Harrods once… I believe I stayed on the first floor it was like 25 years ago so I don’t really remember too well lol and I just remember a whole bunch of food stuffs everywhere that’s all I got 😅 I was lucky enough to go there three times in my 20s but I wasn’t into Thrifting then I didn’t notice any thrift stores 😢
It looked fabulous. Glad you had such a lovely time. Next time you come to England you should visit Liberty - very different to Harrods - the building is absolutely beautiful xx
I just got back from Europe! I walked through Hattrods! So beautiful but out of my budget 😢 I did run into a flea market in the theater district but it was towards the end and they were already closing down 😢
At one time White Stag was a fairly nice label sold in department stores.
lori .i sell vintage and it never stops being so funny {odd }to me that the kids LOVE them some WHITE STAG ,ROUTE 66 ,NO BOUNDARIES ,WRANGLER all the cheapie brands from our day stuff i would of never been seen in. i think maybe cuz it went hard on the trends ,usually super colorful and super prolific too
We are leaving tomorrow for our first trip to Europe! This was perfect timing for me! Thank you for sharing. I’m hoping to get in some thrifting while there. Still debating my shoe choices!
I hope you didn’t miss the shoes heaven in Harrods!? Nice mulberry !
Glad you had a great time !
Yes, I have thrifted in the Netherlands in a town called Delft…. I picked up a beautiful Dutch scene tile picture and a Red Delft Beer stein for my son.
I would upload some photos but UA-cam is being super difficult and not allowing…😢😢😢😢
Welcome back! What a fun and interesting video. I love all of your purchases. I haven't been to London and the Netherlands since the 70s... I think I need to go back! 💛
Might be a nice time for a little European vacation! Thanks for watching.
So cute hearing you use the correct pronunciation of “Tube” as - “Tooobe”, we say “Chooobe”, 🤣, so lazy.
I never even knew about these vintage shop unless you were near Camden!
Well done for your teaching gig in the Netherlands 👌🏾
You should visit the flea markets.
'Waterloo plein' (square) etc.
And book online tickets for Anne Frank's house. Do a canal tour by boat.
Love your video's. 👋 a Dutchy in Canada
A tour at the flower auction in Aalsmeer is wonderful and in the spring time the' keukenhof'
Utrecht is my parent’s home town!!! Still have relatives that live hereby…
If you visit Japan again there’s a thrift store like goodwill but better called the bookstore there’s quite a few all over Japan and there was one near the hotel I stayed at I went in looking for a Japanese book that was discontinued in the states and when I walked in it was a full on thrift store. I came back home with tons of items to resell and all have sold. I’m going back again in October I can’t wait
Book off! I didn’t get to go when I went but dying to go back just to thrift
Ha did you thrift in London high end prices I’m sure ! I’m from uk so funny that you were here 😻
My husband and I are public servants (teacher and child welfare worker), so these brands were unfamiliar to me. A big sticker shock, though I am intrigued by these lulu lemon pants for work. I usually avoid polyester especially as a Florida resident. Does the fabric "breathe" well?
Expensive trip. I live in the UK and no one I know can afford to shop in Harrods!!
You should look at mr carrington next time your in London he’s a local guy and he thifts carboots and shops all over think you would like his content . 😊
Hi Everyone! I have missed you!! I just got back from a week in Europe! I of course did some thrifting and I also did some SHOPPING at Harrod's in London!! Come thrift with me and see some of the wonderful places I discovered in Europe!
