We did a modified El-Pres/Madison as part of our Assault Troop qualification. Start facing down range at rifle ready, targets at 7,10, and 5 yards (from left to right), 1 yard apart. Engage all three with 2-rounds from rifle (magazine of 6-rounds), transition to pistol and re-engage with 2-rounds from pistol (magazine of 6-rounds). Perform a mandatory empty-gun reload and reengage each target with 2 rounds from pistol. First shot rifle, total engagement rifle, average target transition rifle, draw, average target transition pistol, and total time were all graded against par time and must pass.
