APSC Hit Factor Match 03AUG2024
Since I have IDPA Nationals in two weeks, I shot this match from concealment and at an IDPA pace rather than a USPSA one. Obviously not the best thing for my placement in this match, but the best prep for nationals.

WTF was that on CM 22-06. That's not how it's supposed to be setup. Who the fuck let you get away with that?
Who let me get away with it? I didn’t set it up. I thought it was kind of janky myself, and wouldn’t have set it up that way if I was MD. But before you start picking fights on my channel, do some research. DNROI put out an official statement on target height in classifiers saying vertical variation due to range considerations was ok as long as horizontal was correct. This is a great comparison. I’m USPSA C class and ACE is helping inch me to B class. Consistency is key.

Do you have a training schedule set up for the ace.....I've been working on my draws and reloads at least 30 minutes a day, then I jump to the ace for 30 minutes a day...any suggestions would be awesome.

a question when I looked in this video is that how you see it in the glasses also. Thats doesn't feel really relastic or lets say Im missing the arms, the size of the gun ( looking on an PC 14 inch screen))
@@oddsparrow8522 the size of the gun in the VR is scaled correctly. You won’t even think about the arms, it doesn’t affect the training value.

@@johnwick9401 it’s a double alpha race holster with a 2011 insert, any USPSA style competition belt will work but that one is from Weber Tactical

I notice you are using the Meta Quest 2 on all your video's do you think the Quest 3 is worth the extra $300 for use in Ace shooting app or is the 2 all anyone needs?
The 2 works just fine but I will probably upgrade to the 3 because of the increased frame rate and definition

I just got the sub and the controller for like around 360$ with a coupon code. But i dont understand why people are saying the controller is included in the subscription, it is not, it is a requirement, you have to buy it separately, subs is 14$x12 for a year, and you have to get the controller for 200$, am i missing something here?
That looks like the Quest 2 headset. Is there any reason to get the Quest 3?
Not currently except for greater resolution. Eventually I’m planning on migrating over, but the 2 is more than adequate.

We did a modified El-Pres/Madison as part of our Assault Troop qualification. Start facing down range at rifle ready, targets at 7,10, and 5 yards (from left to right), 1 yard apart. Engage all three with 2-rounds from rifle (magazine of 6-rounds), transition to pistol and re-engage with 2-rounds from pistol (magazine of 6-rounds). Perform a mandatory empty-gun reload and reengage each target with 2 rounds from pistol. First shot rifle, total engagement rifle, average target transition rifle, draw, average target transition pistol, and total time were all graded against par time and must pass.

I’ve been both. The level of training and skill on SWAT varies widely from one agency to another. The best teams have an extremely high level of skill. Not really sure what the purpose of your comment is, but perhaps you should have researched my background before “citing” some reality show contestant as your appeal to authority…
I have done this training a couple times. I often think as a civilian how many times would I need this training. Like I am not going to church or the mall with my rifle edc. This would be great training if ww3 happens or for swat or military. It is mostly a waste for the average civilian who always has their fighting rifle at home or hidden in the truck.
You’re not really wrong, based on your priorities. But there are civilians who would have potential uses for transitioning to their secondary. And there’s nothing wrong with seeking out skill for its own sake. For MIL/LE (who I often teach) this is an essential skill.

You can use it definitely. I take it with me in the road and use it in hotel rooms all the time. There are plenty of stages without movement and they’re adding more all the time.
