Hi Eli, I have a quick question. I just tried this setup with my friend, using a clamshell reflector, ad400pro and an 85cm Softbox, c stand with boom arm as opposed to the shorty extension arm. But, I couldn't seem to get much light on the top of his head until I used an ad200pro and bounced the light from the ceiling straight down. Is there anything I can to make it so I don't need a second light in order to light up the hair on the top of the head?
Get the light higher and if that doesn't give you enough, slightly tilt the light more towards the model/backdrop instead of toward the floor and reflector. Finding the right balance between the two will depend on the space you have available and the power of the light.
If it’s whole body shoot does the reflector still come into play? Our just key light and behind the subject light for the background?
If it’s a full body I use a reflector on the floor. ☺️
If we don’t have a second speed light to light the backdrop could we use a regular light?
You could but you would need to lower your shutter speed to measure the ambient.

Sir, I am using benq sw 270c monitior and i have a doubt not only it is very problem sir. I don't know how much brightness and contrast level should be set sir, how much level you have set in your monitor. Please clarify sir.

That does not look like an FJ80 for the BG light. FJ200 maybe?
For the ice cream shoot I used FJ80 and the others an FJ200.
Great image but the reflector makes a weird shadow just above her t-shirt/front neck.
I didn't notice but if you prefer not to use it in your shots it'll look just fine 😁
