Did you get fitted for them? 245 is a HMB I game them & the 241MB mixed bag. Small head on both of them, I’m surprised you feel confident using them off a 16 hcp. I’d say they’re more geared for a hcp between 8 & scratch. Definitely a players iron feel. Trouble with the 245 is they’re hot, so I went 245 4-7 & 241 8-PW
Mizuno is the only brand you should be buying. I’ve just got the 221, blade. It’s forgiving & a rocket for a blade. The best MB you can buy. The feel is incredible
@ unreal aren’t they. I’ve actually got 221 from 6 to pw I have the 225 in the bag at 3 to 5 iron, tweaked lofts. I actually wish now I got the full set in 221 as I didn’t realise how forgiving they are for a blade. I’m that confident that I think a mid hcp golfer could game them no problem. Honestly if I hit one toey I don’t really see any drop off. A traditional blade it would be dead. They are incredible and the feel is like super soft.
216 and 6100 ish spin on the 243's 220 ish and 5000 spin 245.... 243 also the highest peak height My points I wouldn't sacrifice over 1k plus spin for quite literally a few yards The extra height /landing angle gives stopping power from the 243 over the 241 even though the 243's spin at only 400 less So the 243's go higher Spin the most compared to the distance in all the other models, shape well and are forgiving Which is why they are in my bag But they came last in "the test" Why the lack of love for them?
I would imagine it is because my unfortunate generation believes distance is "a banger" and shaping crazy shots looks awesome for a bit of clout. I have the 243's coming after hitting all three and find the overall balance to them to be far superior to whatever the other two offer, aside from the distance in the longer irons for the 245s. Great view here, not to take away from the great shots in the video though
Hey Remec, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel
The one I like the least is definitely the 243, that insert all those models have is just so ugly, but I also feel the same about the jpx models that have the glued on badges on the back. They need to be all one piece if metal the the 241 and 245 and we can include the jpx tour models they’re nice too all one piece of metal no badges I’ll go and try out the 245 they just keep improving and compacting that model
Nice work, thanks for the video. Do you feel that low handicap players might not even try the 245 because it's a hollow body? And do you think they should?
245 toe hit dropped off the most distance so you said it was most forgiving? It's actually the LEAST forgiving of the three. Your normal shot with it was 215, it dropped off 20 yards which means you're coming up 20 yards short of the green. For the 241, it came up 10 yards short. For distance the lofts are different so not comparable.
you gotta check out the new 0317 T irons that PXG released. Tour player won last month with them (4-9) first time a club manufacturer has ever used hollow body with fill to INCREASE spin and REDUCE distance compared to a normal CB
You fell in love with the distance of the stronger lofted 245s. The 243s were more forgiving based on your numbers. You lost 20 yards with toe hits on the 245s and 10 yards on the 243s. You simply said the 245s won because they went farther. They had a much larger drop in % distance on misses. Your test showed why companies are jacking lofts. Most young guys can’t get past how far they hit a 7 iron😂
I just got my 245s, I am a 16 hcp and I nail the 7i 205. these things are HOT! I live in Denver, so a little elevation.

@@2sqnbandit379 wait you d say the 245 is for hcp 8 and under? thats crazy since its their most forgiving model...
@ it’s the most forgiving MP range. They are a mizuno MP iron. Thin top line.
Been playing the 243s for alittle over a month now and absolutely love them, would like to go w 245s maybe from 4-6 but there still long enough.
I got fitted on June 3rd, the 245's just got here today and I can't wait to play them!
I just got fitted for the 245's and I can't wait... Great video, new subscriber!!!
Same here, Monday can't come soon enough!
How did you get on with them?
Luke Donald bent the 245s to 241 spec cause the 245s are jacked.
MP241 player here, coming from MP4. Great review. Glad to learn about this channel.
I have the Mizuno Pro 225 and wanted to upgrade to the MP 245. Ended up going with the Takomo 301 Combo set and Love them!
What tracker was behind you? That's neato. Love to grab one of those for me and my dad
they cost 5k USD lol
I just got my 243s and they are the best irons I've ever had. They look sexy, feel soft, are more forgiving than I expected, and surprisingly long.
Mizuno is the only brand you should be buying. I’ve just got the 221, blade. It’s forgiving & a rocket for a blade. The best MB you can buy. The feel is incredible
Agree on the 221. Best club i've ever hit and suuuuuuper forgiving for a blade.

Hi there.
I recently got fitted with the 245 iron's 2 weeks ago now, I'm just waiting for them to arrive from Mizuno.
they felt amazing.
How long did it take you to receive them. I'm exactly 6 weeks out and was just told possibly another 2 weeks....womp womp
@@aaronrogalsky4167 I have just received mine 3 days ago. where about do you live? im in Australia
I’m currently waiting on my 245’s!!! You should ply some golf in East Tennessee I know a couple good tracks😊
216 and 6100 ish spin on the 243's
220 ish and 5000 spin 245....
243 also the highest peak height
My points
I wouldn't sacrifice over 1k plus spin for quite literally a few yards
The extra height /landing angle gives stopping power from the 243 over the 241 even though the 243's spin at only 400 less
So the 243's go higher
Spin the most compared to the distance in all the other models, shape well and are forgiving
Which is why they are in my bag
But they came last in "the test"
Why the lack of love for them?

great review. time for a fitting :)
Look at the dispersion with the blade..
May I have your old set of mizunos?
😂 Sheesh, thats a very tough ask.

The CEO Gauntlet!
Nice looking clubs
I’m a scratch golfer. I’m going with the 245s.
standard settings G?
Nice work, thanks for the video. Do you feel that low handicap players might not even try the 245 because it's a hollow body? And do you think they should?
Blend the 245 & 241. Trust me. Brilliant & they look exactly the same.
