Also, mind mapping is great, both as a tool to quickly get all ideas down on paper and build on it and re-organize things, but also as a way to document processes and use as a goal tracking tool as well. It works great for mapping out video ideas as well, both on a high level overview as well as down to the details for one single video, and then using it to produce to-do-lists, shot lists, gear to remember and all the other documents for a production - when I started using mind maps back in the late 90’s there was a function in the software I used to output the content of a mind map into an html/website structure with a main menu with sub menus and everything, so we used it to prototype websites to map out all the content that needed to be produced as well as the structure of sites - even used it to make so documentation for projects as well, such a flexible tool :)

I really appreciated this small but important tip. I've seen these before, but it's always helpful to see them in the context of a fellow video creator and sort of, rethink or reassess how they could be a resource. I'm not sure how big the audience is when you target creators business owners vs something more general, but FWIW I enjoy and appreciate seeing content like this from you. Definitely a great tool for getting thoughts and ideas down in a way that makes sense for people that can't do it longhand with a journal/notebook of some kind. Not only having a website, but having it in a mobile app definitely makes it great for being able to do it on the go, and I'll definitely be doing this for my own business for 2024, thanks for the recommendation!

Mind mapping is a great - use it quite often for client work and my business. Much easier to understand what the priorities, what's working and what's better to drop for now. And check the progress once a month

I’m kind of a writing person Peter. I have used mind mapping tools & techniques in my university. I love them because they are saving much time. But, also I love physical books, iPad Air 5, Samsung Galaxy note 20 ultra & Remarkable 2.
