I love how Tim loves to be a father so much. "I love you," without even noticing it's close to the mic, and "we need more children" to his wife at the end; what a great dad! Jack and his sisters ARE the lucky ones to have a stand-up guy like that as a father.
The way Tim engineered his voice to lift Jacks into the spotlight shows great skill, love and thought. Tims control and experience is like a warm hug around Jacks young voice.
As a father myself with a young Son, I have to be totally honest and say that when I saw this I played it 3 times and had tears in my eyes. This is an absolute beautiful example of a natural Father and Son bonding. The best things in life are the simple things, not expensive but their value is priceless
My fav part of the interview starts at 2:35 when the son saved his father who seemed to stumble a little answering Simon’s question what the song was about, and the son simply kept it as “it’s about how lucky we are to have what we have.” Maturity and love comes in different sizes.

Oh my! me to!! i have watched this video for I was thinking, was an perhaps an unhealthy amount of times. I am and have been a schooled musician/ teacher self employed guitar/ piano/ singer and song writer for most of my life, But WOW! Great song, Great father. Humble family.. hard to come by these days. I have shed so many tears from the probably 50 times I have watched this. I have to drink twice the water on a normal day! And, Yes dad does a great job at directing attention to his son. I literally forced my 10 year old son to watch this video. I told him, I can teach you to sing and play any instrument. I would love for us to have that connection. I told him... with practice you and I can do anything like this.. He blew me off because he was too busy playing fucking Fortnight. Meanwhile, I will try to enjoy him, as he is still a great child. What a heartwarming audition! ❤️People say they aren't golden buzzer worthy but I love them. They're having such a rich voices which's very "special" to me. I Love the father son bond. What a dad! “It’s about how lucky we are to have what we have” ❤️💖
Finally someone who wins the Golden Buzzer picks up some golden confetti to keep. That's what I would do. Take a bunch put in a glass dome and put it on the mantle as a souvenir.
This song's amazing! I just about managed to hold back my tears! I love how Tim let Jack sing the lead parts in the song and let him be the centre of attention. I remember watching a mother/daughter act where the mum sang pretty much all of the song by herself & left her daughter just stood there not singing anything and looking really sad. I remember they didn't get through and Simon was like "You're OK, but your daughter just looks like she's been dragged along and she doesn't want to be there!"
@Jon D Love...we just have to start loving unconditionally and it will change our lives for the best. Hey Jon, let's both try to start. Just one day at a time. That is all we are meant to do. Love unconditionally today because we are not promised tomorrow. God bless you man!
This was so beautiful and touching! My heart ❤ melted with love, watching them perform. When the father stepped back at the end, to give his son the spotlight, I thought, how heartwarming is that. It was golden! So glad Simon pushed the golden buzzer. Well deserved! The lyrics made me cry. 💕💜
This video is perfection, from beginning to end - it is authentic, touching, amazing and cool. What a once in a lifetime moment. A great performance by Jack and Tim and the judges all did a great job acknowledging it. Getting the golden buzzer from Simon is no small feat.
What sweet display of true love in a family😍 our nations would be stronger if we see this more often. Congratulations, well done father & son duo. Keep the love growing.
I first heard this song when I was asleep and my father was watching all of the "X got talent" shows. I woke up from all of the hairs on my arms standing on end and because of hearing the guitar Harmonys. I was fully awake by the time they began to sing. I'll never forget how wholesome the song was and is to this day. I had recently lost my mother, and the year before a sister. I think what they sang, of is what we all wish we had in our lives and the chance to be one of, The Lucky Ones. I think I am, becaue I got to here this song and feel what I did that first time.
They stopped competing as soon as they started singing. That was just a father and son singing their hearts our for each other and we were lucky enough to be in their presence. So wholesome!
“The Lucky Ones” (written and sung by Tim and Jack) was absolutely “BEAUTIFUL”!!! I loved this performance and I am so happy that Simon gave them the Golden Buzzer!!! I can’t believe all the dislikes that this got??? I can’t get enough of it I’ve watched it a million times!
Know the feeling mate. It's a tough pill to swallow. Thought I had it hard for losing my mum at 14 and my dad at 27. We on our own. Hope they gave you good values and a chance in life like mine did. Still, I feel kind of lost, things kinda lose meaning. Crazy how much we live for the others without realizing it and when they are gone, we kinda forget how to live for ourselfs hehe. My father would have been 79 y/o two days ago, time do fly by, but we'll never forget.
This is so beautiful, so perfect, and so rare. The most beautiful relationship and song, the best part of this was this amazing man who is the most loving and caring father. When he said it has been his lifelong dream to be a dad I just 😍😭 My whole life all I've ever wanted, all I've ever dreamed of is to be a mom. And I pray to God that I can be as good of a parent as this man is to his son. So beautiful ❤
I think that videos like this prove how Simon might be a brutally honest man, but he has a genuinely good heart. Knowing he was their favorite judge (as he's pretty much everyone's) and after hitting the gold buzzer himself, went on stage to meet both of them. Definitely a moment they will never forget.
They're really nice! I was actually lucky enough to meet them and they came to my school and I was lucky enough to get chosen to do songwriting with them
Talented duet. I especially LOVED the deep bond they share, that he loves on his son so much and how he kept kissing him and told him he loved him. What a needed example in the world today! Dad's being great Dads to their kids, specifically their sons.
I'm watching this on quarantine, over and over again. This performance is absolutely out of this world. Awesome! It can't get better than this.Well deserved golden buzzer!
Obviously the father/son part of it is amazing. Aside from that the song is beautiful, Tim has a great Jason Mraz type vibe to him. And Jack’s voice is gorgeous, I hope he keeps training it as he gets older and it changes. Their voices mix so well together.
They are my favourites, so cute and beautiful. I love the song. Tim and Jack 💖💖💖 I don't know when I burst into tears So happy Simon press the Golden buzzer
The love between the father and son,son and father is truly amazing. This father and son duo, talent is amazing. There strength is there love for each other. If I was a judge I would not only give them a golden buzzer,I would give them a golden 💜 heart.for there 💕 love for each other.
Wow. So glad I watched this. I've watched it ten times and I've teared up every time. This was awesome to watch. And to think, the kid was once on The Voice before BGT.
... Put Your hand in mine, stay here by my side... I have a 4 year old daughter and that kind of songs make me feel I never want to leave this world and be there for her forever! That performance was just... heartbreakingly beautiful! Also I have 2 younger brothers that I never want to lose and never wanna leave them... And my mom and dad... All of my beloved people!
I'm a single dad struggling through a heavy addiction...dealing with sobriety isnt easy I recently picked up a guitar and I'll do my best teach my daughter the guitar as much as I have since being clean...
Hey Daniel , Jack & Tim here.. Just wanted to let you know your doing great .. Keep going brother.. Play the guitar with your daughter for 15 minutes a day , and soon she will love it as much as you. your a good dad , it take s a real man to try and change. all the best Jack & Tim
This is what an empowering dad is....awesome. loved how he held his hand in a way , but let him talk, let him say thank you, let him take the spotlight
I love how Tim loves to be a father so much. "I love you," without even noticing it's close to the mic, and "we need more children" to his wife at the end; what a great dad! Jack and his sisters ARE the lucky ones to have a stand-up guy like that as a father.

Who is watching on quarantine??
You caught me 😂🤣
We need this kinda songs at this moment of time
I need to see it every few months
Crying again 😭, the way the dad stepped outside the line and giving his son all the credit even though they both worked equally hard
@@michaeldiehl2458 That was beautiful and lovely..
I've watched this since the performance. Its 2021. And still crying. I play guitar. Ths is Beautiful. Go Jack!!
They certainly deserved that golden buzzer!!!! Amazing performance!!! 🥰❤️
They stopped competing as soon as they started singing. That was just a father and son singing their hearts our for each other and we were lucky enough to be in their presence. So wholesome!
The little boy’s reaction really melted my heart☺️ What a beautiful family!
I've watched this over & over. Very talented people especially the little one. Love from Papua New Guinea.
I have to say that Tim and Jack are a lovely family, Jack's voice was very good and amazing, and so did Jack.
how many jacks were there
@@ExploreEnigma_ABI Sry I type wrongly, I thought the son was Jack and I ended up saying Jack two times.
Background song name at last 6:41 ? Plz tell

There just jealousy
So did I it was heaven sent very Beautiful ❤️☺️☺️❤️😘❤️😘☺️❤️
They're just youtube bots. Just like the angry and sad faces on Facebook
Simon Cowell is such a deeply loving man who demonstrates his humanity with typical English charm. We need shows like this in Europe.
But da have shows like this in europe
I ment we. sorry
Dude. We are in Europe. England is part of Europe
This song speaks to me on such a personal level. I lost my mum when I was 13 and I lost my dad when I was 20 so I relate to this so much
So very sorry for your loss
Know the feeling mate. It's a tough pill to swallow. Thought I had it hard for losing my mum at 14 and my dad at 27. We on our own. Hope they gave you good values and a chance in life like mine did. Still, I feel kind of lost, things kinda lose meaning. Crazy how much we live for the others without realizing it and when they are gone, we kinda forget how to live for ourselfs hehe. My father would have been 79 y/o two days ago, time do fly by, but we'll never forget.
Name of song?🥺
im sorry
I've never met my parents so I don't really know what it feels like calling someone a dad or a mom.
The father held back so much and used his voice to highlight his son's. That's so beautiful
This is so beautiful, so perfect, and so rare. The most beautiful relationship and song, the best part of this was this amazing man who is the most loving and caring father. When he said it has been his lifelong dream to be a dad I just 😍😭
My whole life all I've ever wanted, all I've ever dreamed of is to be a mom. And I pray to God that I can be as good of a parent as this man is to his son. So beautiful ❤
One of the most precious things in the world is a bond between a father and his son 💙
This is so special hearing a father and son singing together in such precious harmony. I want them to record this. I would buy it. It’s beautiful.
@Bobby Raymond I live in Texas.
Love this. As a musician myself I love watching this father passing his love for music to his son.

Y7BRO my favorite part, as well. What a wonderful example for others to follow.
I'm watching this on quarantine, over and over again. This performance is absolutely out of this world. Awesome! It can't get better than this.Well deserved golden buzzer!
I was very very impressed by dad`s and son`s performance and singing.
I`m happy to share this video.
Bless you.
From Japan.
I love how Tim stood up and directed his hands to his son. 💙
5:32 You can tell Simon was impressed by Jack's vocal range there.
Isn't the vocal range. Is more the range of his chest voice.
@@thedrakko3951 Ah, sorry. I don't know much about singing lol.
Obviously the father/son part of it is amazing. Aside from that the song is beautiful, Tim has a great Jason Mraz type vibe to him. And Jack’s voice is gorgeous, I hope he keeps training it as he gets older and it changes. Their voices mix so well together.
2022 & still watch this. This is the greatest bond between father & son that full of love & beautiful moment!! You guys are the LUCKY ONE!!
They are my favourites, so cute and beautiful. I love the song. Tim and Jack 💖💖💖
I don't know when I burst into tears
So happy Simon press the Golden buzzer
The love between the father and son,son and father is truly amazing. This father and son duo, talent is amazing. There strength is there love for each other. If I was a judge I would not only give them a golden buzzer,I would give them a golden 💜 heart.for there 💕 love for each other.
Today, 1 April, is the birthday of my firstborn, 15 years old, and I see this video for the first time. I confess that I was moved.
Thanks.

Watching in 2022 December

The showing of love one toward another in a family relationship is a treasure of such value as to be like living in a world unknown by most.
Theses two take father-son bonding to the next level that was so beautiful.
the song touched my hearth and when the golden buzzer i cant hold my tears. WHY AM I SUCH A EMOTIONAL GUY
Anyone watching this in Nov 2024?

👋👋
I love how he lets his son do the picking its shows how much he taught and trust him
Tim said to his wife "hey listen we need more children" (in the end) omggg I giggled while crying. OMGG❤️❤️❤️ such a beautiful duo my hearttt.
Don't think I've ever before seen Simon give a SECOND standing ovation as the contestants were leaving the stage.
The dad and his son compliment each other with their voices. Beautiful
Wow. So glad I watched this. I've watched it ten times and I've teared up every time. This was awesome to watch. And to think, the kid was once on The Voice before BGT.
Never tired of playing this again and again ❤️
omg stay until the end " we need more children " YYESSSS!!! Kids aren't a burden... build a legacy !!!
I loved how dad was giving all the credit to his son, making his son famous, That's a true parent right there.
@Mark Smith Middle East Lebanon.. you?
That was simply beautiful. Is what life and family is all about. Thank you so much!
Getting a golden buzzer from Simon is equivalent to being able to lift Thor's hammer.
You're worthy
Lmao. Why does this *not* have more clout?!
You nailed that comment. Brilliant
Great analogy! You are worthy, comment of last year!
@@stfjesusfreak thank u sugar, love that.
Cool lol Thors hammer. Good description.
This is the way a son and father relationship is meant to be. Truely awesome🥰🥰🥰🥰
It's now 2022 and I'm still loving this performance and a bond between father and son
The best relationship dady with son.. That amazing, i repeat again and again their show.. Good luck jack and tim😂😂😂😂
... Put Your hand in mine, stay here by my side...
I have a 4 year old daughter and that kind of songs make me feel I never want to leave this world and be there for her forever! That performance was just... heartbreakingly beautiful!
Also I have 2 younger brothers that
I never want to lose and never wanna leave them... And my mom and dad... All of my beloved people!
I'm a single dad struggling through a heavy addiction...dealing with sobriety isnt easy I recently picked up a guitar and I'll do my best teach my daughter the guitar as much as I have since being clean...

This is what an empowering dad is....awesome. loved how he held his hand in a way , but let him talk, let him say thank you, let him take the spotlight
The look on the dads face when jack starts to sing melts my heart
