    Thanks for the video. I'm on my way to my first LIVE and what I want to do is a series of 3 Lives on LinkedIn, 3 days in a row. I saw events that repeat themselves weekly and you are one of the attendees even if you registered once. I would like to do the same in the way that someone registered for Day 1 will automatically appear for Days 2 and 3. How can I do that? Highly appreciated.

    Thanks so much! I'm so over Zoom. Last disaster - I had 84 people signed up on LI for my event, Zoom screwed up, and forced logins. 5 people attended.

    Hi is it best to go live at certain times of the day?

    Hi there! Great video, just one question what about if the event that I created is with another person, should I add this profile to Stramyard as well?

    • @UptownCreationB2BMarketing
      @UptownCreationB2BMarketing  3 місяці тому

      Nope - you only need to connect the account that made the LinkedIn Live Event to StreamYard. Then you can share the StreamYard link with your co-host and that's all they'll need to join the hosting lobby.

    I just wanted to confirm, for the live event, it’s going to be automatically recorded or do I need to click somewhere? also if the event is recorded, am I going to be able to download after so I can upload on UA-cam or my other social media platforms.? -Thx

    Can you share your screen when doing a Linkedin live through Streamyard?

    hi Chris, thanks for the super helpful tutorial! Quick question: can people host live events through their personal LinkedIn account? instead of via the company page? I have more than 150 people connections in my personal account, but I just started my company page, so there aren't many followers there.

      You absolutely can! In fact, I'd usually recommend using your personal page over a company page because content from a personal account generally performs better.

    Bro, good vid. Good info. But beyond annoying with you not looking in the camera. I kept saying to myself: “Who are you talking to?” 😢

    Love the video. Can you upload a recording to Linkedin Live?

    • @UptownCreationB2BMarketing
      @UptownCreationB2BMarketing  Рік тому

      Yes you can! Since it's with a 3rd party software this is something that can be done, although hasn't been taken advantage of by most people.
      I know in StreamYard specifically you are able to schedule a webinar in advance and upload a previous recording. Powerful stuff.
      I think running them Live is really important when trying to make an Evergreen webinar at first though. The feedback and tweaks you make after a few runs will make it so the Evergreen version is as good as it can be.

    I can't find the Creator mode button on my profile. I have more than 500 followers.

    • @UptownCreationB2BMarketing
      @UptownCreationB2BMarketing  22 дні тому

      LinkedIn actually made it a standard feature now as of earlier this year (2024), so you're already in creator mode now.
      Hope you didn't look too hard for the button!

    Hi, friend...I've got (paid) Zoom....any problems connecting with Linkedin??

    • @UptownCreationB2BMarketing
      @UptownCreationB2BMarketing  Рік тому

      The biggest problem is that LinkedIn won't alert people that you're live (since you aren't live on their platform) and by asking people to sign up for a Zoom link you will have a lot of drop off/less attendence.
      I'd highly recommend hosting the live natively within LinkedIn instead of Zoom

  • @conversationswithrudyriver6688

    If you schedule a LinkedIn Live event on your profile page, at you get 100 people who accept, LinkedIn still sends a notice to all of your content. Why bother sending the invites?

    • @UptownCreationB2BMarketing
      @UptownCreationB2BMarketing  Рік тому

      Some people will have turned off that notification + it's a lot less likely for them to attend if they haven't already committed to attending.
      The way I see it is why not send the 1,000 invites to the best potential attendees while also knowing that others will be able to see the Live as well.
      Getting even 20-30 concurrent viewers in your Live is what will help proliferate the specific Live to other viewers, so any way you can get more people in is a win.
