    Thank you for the overview! I wanted to ask how to choose the region. I'm in south america but the listeners and the speaker of the zoom event are from the US. Which option should I go with?

      Go with the region where most expected attendees are located.

    What’s the benefit of live streaming to LinkedIn? Is it because it exposes you to a new network of people (aka your contacts)? What’s the best way to market the event and is there a way to collect attendees email addresses?

    Hello! Thank you for the information, I just have one question. When you're going live, will participants show up within Zoom and be able to talk to you/ask questions like with a normal Zoom call?

      Only those who have your Zoom link and join via Zoom. Viewers on LinkedIn or other social platforms will not be able to join you in the video.

      1)To broadcast live on multiple platforms using Zoom, you cannot do so directly. You must use a streaming platform like Restream or Streamyard to bridge the gap between Zoom and the final platforms. 2) Yes, you can record and save your lives using Zoom. You need a paid plan. Zoom Pro gives you 5GB of cloud storage.

    Thanks for a great video! Honestly 5 stars - can I ask if you're able to record LinkedIn live when you're using zoom (the same way you're able to record Zoom meetings)

    Hi, thank you for the explanation. I have a question, please: In addition to streaming a scheduled event to participants who register for it on LinkedIn, can I also invite participants who are not on LinkedIn? Perhaps I can send a Zoom url link to them via email for the same event?

      That would be an option, yes. Or you can stream it to multiple locations with a tool like Streamyard or Restream.

    thank you for this video , I have question please . Zoom account must be paid or can be for free ? another question . We have to invite every person on linkedin apart? there is no way to send broadcast invitation for all followers we have ?

      If you're considering hosting an event using the free version of Zoom and you want to invite your LinkedIn connections, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, the free version of Zoom has a 45-minute limit on meetings, so plan your event accordingly. Now, to the heart of the matter-inviting your connections.
      You need to filter these to find the right audience. Say you want to reach out to all of your connections in the United States. You can do so by filtering, a gentle touch that helps you find the exact audience you need.
      Once filtered, a list of connections will appear. At the top, a checkbox waits. With a simple click, you can select all these connections.
      With everyone selected, you can send the invitations.
      And that's how you can create an event, filter through your connections, and send a mass invitation, all while keeping the constraints and capabilities of the platforms in mind.

    1. Does this work only with Zoom meetings, or is it the same with Zoom webinars? 2. How can the other participants stream as well? Let's say it is a webinar with several speakers, and all want to live stream for their own linkedin audience?

      It works with webinars as well. If you want to push your stream to multiple locations I recommend a software called Streamyard. The host is the owner of the meeting and everyone else joins with a guest link. Guests can then connect their social media channels and the live stream will be pushed to all those locations.

    Does it save the video - which means people can watch your whole video later or you can share your whole conversation with others ?

      The video is saved on LinkedIn, yes.

      Yes, you'd have to first stream to a video switch software which will then multiply the stream to all these platforms. Example: switchboard.live/

    How do I do this for a company page

      It works the same. You just need to create the event as a page admin first. Make sure you select LinkedIn Live as the event format.

    In the "Region" option there is only US and Europe no asia!! im from Japan, how can I do this?

      In that case you want to pick the region closest to you.

    ITs clear HOWEVER for some reasons I don't have the "Configure Custom Streaming Service" button below the options once I saved the scheduled meeting. All I see is " Start", "Copy invitation", "Edit", "Delete". And above that I see "Convert this meeting to a Webinar"

      You may have to activate custom streaming in your settings first. Go to Settings > Meeting > In Meeting (Advanced) > Allow livestreaming of meetings
