A very, very special thank you to the owners and caretakers at Mt Cotton Rainforest Gardens, we couldn't have done this without you!
    Lyrics:
When the moment comes to light the lost and it’s eyes on you,
leaving us no legacy but residue
It’s when you preach your promises like the filth was always there
    Like we were always dead
If we could tread so lightly that the bait in my breath is done
Grind down, the grief gives way
    Justify just another one
    The mourning ends,
    the maker mends,
    and you feed it
And with your nothing words, stand by the lie, watch your saviour bleed
He said, “My son, they’ll know you by the numbness in your knees”
If I could run the way your god conceals his gun
He’d know that for all your pride,
we’re all buried by the same slow violence
    I’ll take you with me
We’re all buried by the sure decay
    You lied
So give us something more than the wretch,
than the pose of the penitent
And with a rapture wracked, spit back the impact in the garden
    It’s your Judas kiss
The shots don’t miss, and you know it
    Call for a binding,
    blade to the boy,
and bite down until it’s all done
    Isn’t this what you want?
The man, the pyre, the only son
If I could run the way your god conceals his gun
He’d know that for all your pride,
we’re all buried by the same slow violence
    I’ll take you with me
We’re all buried by the sure decay
    You lied
So you can save your empty prayers for deaf ears
Keep your eyes front and listen, your sons are all singing Maria
And you can bleed your promises and leech your covenant,
    but can’t you hear it?
    They’re already singing Maria
    For all your pride
For the lie that feeds the fire
    For all your pride
We’re all buried by the same slow violence
    I’ll take you with me
We’re all buried by the sure decay
    You lied
    Maria
The way your god conceals his gun
    Maria

Crazy spectacular song. The film clip is fantastic. The timing of the vocals to lead guitar is super good. I haven’t heard a band like them. The drum timing is super good. And heavy, impactful bass.
Can’t wait to hear your new music. Rise radiant is the absolute best yet. Can’t stop playing it. ❤❤

    • @ingoledebur2059
      @ingoledebur2059 4 роки тому +1

That's easy! Cheers is international and ppl in the whole world understand the meaning! In scandanavian it's skol for example and in Germany we say Prost! But most of the people don't know this word and so is in my opinion Cheers the better option! Have a nice day and Prost aus Deutschland!

Obviously this is one of the best bands on the planet, and every one of their songs resonates, but maaaan...the grooves in this song, the energy, and just the way Jim transitions from the "we're all buried by the same slow violence" and rolls right into "ill take you with me", it just makes my soul so damn HAPPY.
Thank you so much for continuing to make music, guys. You make the world a brighter place, and you deserve everything.

They popped up on Spotify a couple years ago in a play list I was listening to and I was blown away. Dream the Dead was the song and I had to listen to it about three times in a row and I then looked them up on Spotify and started following them. I'm 47, a guitar player since the late 80's and I dig the newer progressive metal. My ten year old loves Parkway Drive. He'll ask to listen to the band that does the screaming and he'll do it.

Rise Radiant was the first album I listened 3 times in a row when I first put my hands on it. I thought In Contact was unbeatable and you guys did it (again - cause I thought Bloom was unbeatable too). Caligula's Horse is the best band that appeared on earth on the last 10 years.
