Jessie I'm doing mine now and the steel inside bushings were worn as well as the wear plates . Both upper a arm inner bushings were trashed rest were good but replacing them anyway. I didn't notice you inspecting the steel bushing??
@@TheCanAmCrew I am sure I am due. Waiting on colder weather. I have 4500 miles on base model. Southeast KY. Sounds like I have has same experiences as you two. Love the machine. Thanks for sharing!
@@TheCanAmCrew trying to put ct bushings in. All my plates are basically destroyed and I can’t find them online anywhere, are you sure there a requirement and not a assembly line thing to keep the bushings in?
Yes, I talked with ct raceworx to make sure. They are required. Mine were messed up to. It’s part number 706203300 on can am parts house website. 2.95 each.
@TheCanAmCrew I'd like to do a full cage sometime but can't afford it right now but I've always liked them bumpers also message me if you want to might be able to do something if your not to busy I don't want to bother you I know you got a pretty full plate with everything
@@STREETMOB4X4 you have to at least take the front bulk head off because the lower a arm is a stud so it has to be pulled off forward in order to get it off.
That was fantastic upload mate! 👍 Well done
Thank you. 👌

We usually replace the steel bushings. Typically they wear out before the plastic bushings haha.
3 hours is pretty good! Great video!
Thank you for watching. It wasn’t as bad of a job as I originally thought it was going to be.

Very good work, next to the cam work.
Will replacing them get rid of the can am sqeak?
@@BOOYAHSUCKA3 unfortunately no. Keeping the joint lubed and sprayed with wd 40 will though.
nice job subbed
Those little metal plates on the bushings do they gotta go back on
The shims? Yes. They protect the bushing from wear and premature failure.

@@TheCanAmCrew you may have just saved my new bushings, thank you for the reply. Subscribed.
@@TheCanAmCrew just looked for the part actually. Getting no results found.
Man, alot of work to replace the arms/bushing. Hope they don't break on a trail.
Question, how often do you grease all those parts?
I grease them every ride. I also spray down every moving parts with wd40. These machines can get squeaky if you don’t.
I replaced mine and there is still movement in one of the top a arm?
Did you replace the metal inserts too? We’ve found that they wear out as well.
Have you been happy with the CT Raceworks bushings so far?
Yes, they fit really nice. No more play in the front end. Plus who can pass up a lifetime warranty haha..
Does she have the XL front fender flares, or standard? MudBuster?
She’s got the standard mudbusters and I run the max coverage mudbusters with oem flares. My set up is better for keeping stuff of the windshield.
Do you know what the Torque is for the A arms?
I believe it’s 77-80 but I’m not 100% on that.
When you going to Hatfield?
Well be down there over thanksgiving.
