I was introduced to this practice on my free trial of commune originally and have been dying for you to share on UA-cam so I can share this with others. This practice is like nothing I have ever experienced before, to me it feels like some sort of electromagnetic force pulling me to the ground at first and then I feel completely weightless as if I am levitating. Well. I stumbled over your work yesterday, had a free masterclass on the Unity Sweden platform. Have not been doing breathwork before. Yesterday it was a bit intense in the beginning, especillay around my neck/shoulders and in my ancles. I had a cry aswell. Last night, I slept like a safe child, very strange cos use to deal with my complex PTSD also while sleeping. I woke up today feeling SAFE AND HOPEFUL AND STRONG. Not dissociative all?!?!?! WHAT? 😃 Using a lot of different resourses, but nothing like this direct effective! I have been longing for a return all day 😁. Serched for you tonight and did find this! Wow! Its not only the exercise, it is also your sweet and competent nature. You are my new fav resourse and now you will be with me every day. I LOVE IT! Welcome to my journey. I am grateful for this video, thank you so much! I have your breath work course on the Commune platform, and I keep returning to it regularly. Until now I have not had a way of directing friends who might be interested to breath work, but now I do and I am thankful that you are so willing to share your insights, it is of great support to me!
I practiced this exercise regularly when it was released in the Spring... And each time, I resented it. Heavy emotions kept surfacing, tears and screams were common and "crab hands" were inevitable. Now, six months later, I'm in a different state. I did this exercise during a 3 day retreat/fast and throughout the practice I was calm and grounded. Only a slight tingle in the hands at the end. What a difference. I'm filled with joy to see just how far I've come and thankful that I persevered despite the challenges. The journey goes on, but the baggage is much lighter. With gratitude, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for sharing this practice Scott! 🙏🏼

I'm using this breathwork exercise often lately in the mornings and it helps me not only to wake up my body but it always opens up my heart area without crazy stretching and exercising. It's gently brings me to the new day.
Electric. I particularly felt great energy/heat emitting from the right leg and then from right arm as well. Then the left half of the brain started vibrating. It was a strange yet cleansing experience. Thank you for the tool. Saving it for daily practice.
Wow! This is amazing Scott. Thanks so much. I'm fairly new to meditation practice. I discovered you on the Unplug Meditation app. You're my favorite meditation coach. This practice was intense! I had to pause a few times and join back in because the vibrations I was feeling were so strong. I noticed it took me a few minutes to really get into a deep resting state. I will keep practicing this for a while and update you.

Thanks for this Scott, I feel I’m really receiving this ‘breath of life’. My cells, organs, being is loving it. I’m also becoming aware of old beliefs, some traumas that I feel I’ve stored in my energy field are moving outward. It’s almost like a rebirth of sorts. I take short pauses as well Tanya....I find that they can help me feel my way into deeper connection with the energy the breath is bringing into the foreground

You can do it sitting up RG. If possible, explore having her torso lifted on a diagonal, but still somewhat reclined to support easier letting go. Let me know how it goes. ❤️
My arms and hands were sooo tingly but so was my lower abdomen! I have stomach issues that I'm trying to heal. Do you think the tingling there is related? I wonder if it helps!? Very exciting. I was able to connect with my heart at the end 💖💖thank you!

Have a few questions: 1) can I continue with this practice indefinitely e.g. 80 to 100days 2) can I use this tool twice a day? 3) When I feel like I don't want to do it can I switch over to an 'easier' practice? Is this a sign that the system is processing or maybe resistance is showing up? 4) I find my shoulders move a lot during the practice (lung inhale) is this OK? Thank you for sharing this. I too have to take some breaks inbetween it can get intense. But I notice I am much calmer than before. Thank you.
Namaste, I love all kinds of breathing meditation and choose different videos for guidance each day, I want to know why you, Scott,recommend doing this one all through the mouth, other instructors such as Niraj says his Soma breathing should always be in through the nose and out through the mouth, please explain your theory. Hi Michelle! I don't always get to the comments right away. It's been quite a full plate over here, with two loved ones passing in the same week recently from cancer. Now. As for your question -- there are over 500 different ways to breathe in the work of Pranayama. Each one shapes and directs energy in its own way. Each breath appropriate for the right time, place and circumstances. This breath is all through the mouth during the active portion of the work. There are others which are only through the nose (most of them actually) and some through nose and mouth in varying patterns. Much Love you....
