Jesus Christ... I discovered Heron Oblivion today and adored this song, so seeing your comment I figured I may as well look up the bands you mentioned if they're similar. I've been a Blue Öyster Cult fan as long as I've had a favorite band, so when I saw esper had a cover of Flaming Telepaths, I nearly shrieked. Listened to it just now, and all I can say is that I'm eternally in your debt; it was absolutely home and beautiful and beyond. Thank you.
