Years ago I saw Bonnie Prince Billy play at a campground in Big Sur and after the (really incredible) show my wife and I were sitting around our campfire along the river and heard distant music. We hiked up a huge set of stairs nestled in the ferns and entered a small roadside pub along Highway 1 to see this band shredding wildly. I’d never heard of Heron Oblivion, but it remains one of the greatest sets I’ve ever seen.
I rarely hear a song that makes me literally want to cry......It is perfect in its tone, tempo, and structure.....This is what music is supposed to be.
Heard this group on a local college radio station and had to stay in my car over half hour till song was over to find out the group. What a killer band .I totally love them. Wlfr out of Stockton university, near as Atlantic city, is station I heard them on. Thank goodness for college radio.
Just ordered. I can't wait to hear this though my new Dali Zensors and Marantz amp. I strongly recommend lovers of great music like this prioritising procuring the best setup they can to play the music love on, as soon as they can. Even Denon DM41 with Monitor Audio speakers or Q Acoustics would not sock you that much. If not, go 2nd hand or vintage. When music sounds this good it deserves better than a Bluetooth speaker or Bose. So do we all. Your ears and endorphins will thank you.
This was a song in my weekly play list put together for me by Amazon music based on what I add - I guess - anyway - immediately captivated! Found it on UA-cam because I wanted to share it with a friend.
Are you talking about the picked guitar part or the lead part that comes in? The picked part sounds like it just has a nice blend of tremelo and reverb. The lead part has wah or auto-wah and some overdrive.
Ole Kristian Nygård Dreams from the days of others, others Green fields walk out today Push the wheel, come what may Gleam from the ways of suffering, suffering Choose those who can wait, pull the years past the gate Steal from the ways of nothing, nothing Just leave all that can stay, light the reels, light the way Dreams from the days of suffering, suffering White flowers walk out today, push the fields that we've made Dreams from the days of others, fathers White light washes away, break the wheels, come what may
this is not your song. my girlfriend is taking legal action. this voice and this song by right belongs to Dominique Romeo and the lyrics are " she created this song when she had suspicion someone was stealing audio from her phone the proof is in the lyrics. Dreams from my days, loveless loveless. Green fields woke up today. Push the wheel, come what may. Dreams from my ways , suffering, suffering Dreams stolen from me, through years pass the key Steal from MY ways - nothing, nothing Just ME all that can stay, light the reels, light the way Dreams from MY days suffering, suffering White flowers woke up today, push the fields that we've made. Dreams from my day of hopeless, hopeless White light washes away, push the wheels, come what may. this is a travesty. and i cannot believe the pain my girlfriend is in. YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY With THIS.

Haunting, dreamy.
Why are there 7 dislikes??? This song is pure heaven!
Definitely gotta trip to this track sometime.
chills all over, so well done. any guitar nerds here can spot the effects at the start?

The picked part sounds like it just has a nice blend of tremelo and reverb. The lead part has wah or auto-wah and some overdrive.
I'd go as far as to say that the wah sound also has some Chorus effect added in, rounding off the shrill of wah and distortion/overdrive.
Maggot Brain from '71 could please you likewise....
Beautiful

Ole Kristian Nygård
Dreams from the days of others, others
Green fields walk out today
Push the wheel, come what may
Gleam from the ways of suffering, suffering
Choose those who can wait, pull the years past the gate
Steal from the ways of nothing, nothing
Just leave all that can stay, light the reels, light the way
Dreams from the days of suffering, suffering
White flowers walk out today, push the fields that we've made
Dreams from the days of others, fathers
White light washes away, break the wheels, come what may
Thank you very much, Danny!

Dreams from my days, loveless loveless.
Green fields woke up today.
Push the wheel, come what may.
Dreams from my ways , suffering, suffering
Dreams stolen from me, through years pass the key
Steal from MY ways - nothing, nothing
Just ME all that can stay, light the reels, light the way
Dreams from MY days suffering, suffering
White flowers woke up today, push the fields that we've made.
Dreams from my day of hopeless, hopeless
White light washes away, push the wheels, come what may.
