What is the meaning of this song?
The feeling of being wanted has been felt by all, but this is another level. This is beyond desire, beyond a simple want. This song makes me NEED what I’m deserving of. This is a new feeling entirely. This is a REQUIREMENT. I cannot describe the type of understanding your music has brought to me, you’ve opened my eyes in new ways. To call you a goddess feels right, but you’re just another human with their own battles and struggles. You’re a poet and your lyrical ways are something that will never be eclipsed.
I’m sure, and have been my whole life that not everyone has felt wanted. I know a guy who has never had a girlfriend is his entire life. He’s 28. Which makes the feeling of being wanted even more special. To me, there are 3 things that are more valuable to humans than anything else. Being wanted and desired, or famous , being wealthy, and being young. I have had 2 of them in my life. Working on the rest. Sevdaliza inspires me to chase those things even more.

I’m on the same boat with this. I think it’s because it’s not talking about a literal dirty, but more of a higher reflection of one’s self. If not, maybe a sense of euphoria from being more than enough for someone. Like a prophetic love.

Yeah, and I would add that I think omgisai nailed it 3 years ago with his comment. To me, the message contained in the lyrics come off as intense and mysterious. I really like how the song flows: the upbeat rhythms keeping me on the edge of my seat if you will, the sort of decadent, hot tune that's totally worth repeating throughout the whole song and honestly makes it club-dance-floor-worthy, as well as the simple-yet-powerful, very feminine line of melody that you beautifully carry throughout the song. I don't really believe in the whole goddess thing - not with my upbringing - but I would be so bold as to say that while watching your music video Nothing Lasts Forever, I was practically ready right then to change into my swim trunks and like join in! (I don't have a Speedo. I still don't believe in goddesses either, even though - God knows - I am definitely still somehow involved here, sense of sight and hearing-wise.) And then also, while I was watching your special "Passengers" ARTE concert in the Parisian church or Arts & Crafts Museum (...For me, the link was ua-cam.com/video/xYAEUlRR67w/v-deo.html; hope that works for anyone reading my comment - give it a try and watch this special performance all the way through!), I believe it was during your guys' one song Human Nature that your stage presence was just flawless. Hope I didn't say too much. Clearly, I just got excited is all it is! This isn't about M-E, after all! I think we're all probably fighting for the truth in some way, it seems like is the case...sometimes on different fronts even. It's so precious to us and important to defend and, yes, bicker over to protect.
To be more concise here, what I like about this one is how you've taken a tune that's melodic, sad (yet pretty) and just plain catchy, and have managed to add in various rhythms that then complement the tune that's already been set in place. I think this is because muses are often depicted as a mistress, or as women who captivate men and lead them astray because they have an aspect of 'uniqueness' to them or perhaps a more spiritual presence than other women (surely a man's perspective). Usually muses inspire artists to create works of art. I hate the concept of a man falling in love with a sliver of a woman (generally her appearance) but I see the lyric as being along the lines of "If I can't captivate and inspire you then can I at least spend time with you regardless of what we are doing". Perhaps I have it wrong, would love to hear other interpretations.
