It is not that many people cannot afford to fly, but it is not convenient to fly than to take the train. Chinese airports are generally far away in the suburbs, and I have to check in and go through the security check at the airport several hours in advance. At this time, I have almost reached my destination seven or eight hundred kilometers away by high-speed rail.
Trains in China have a bigger loading gauge, which allows for 2-3 configuration. In the UK however, we have 2-2 (and 2-3 in some really crowded commuter trains) because the loading gauge is way smaller and it's been too late to make any change to the entire system.
Super good Video! 👍👍Thumbs Up👍👍
Thanks
Kudos to China for building such a high speed network ☺️ for your citizens!
Hoping to visit Chengdu next year ❤️

“垃圾桶”的配色现在看着觉得其实挺有特点…
I like the 2-2 seating configuration, gives more space to people. I understand why they do 2-3 configuration. China has a lot of people.
Yes, train is still most important transportation in China. A lot of people cannot afford aviation.
