    Have you used this treatment with prp/PRF before or after? Or with a chemical peel or pdo smooth threads?

    • @samlammd
      @samlammd  10 місяців тому

      Here are my biases: PRP and PRF are entirely useless for skin improvement. PDO threads are also useless. I’ve done them all. Chemical peels are not useless just of incredibly limited benefit to almost none and are only safe in fair skin people. This treatment is like a bazooka in results compared to a fly swatter with a chemical peel so there’s no benefit. Plus mesoBotox is safe with almost no risk of hyper and hypopigmentation, scarring and lasts years and safe in all skin types from Irish to Central African black. None of those parameters exist for chemical peels. Not to mention it can help with pores, texture, tone, quality of skin, abnormal skin issues like scarring, rosacea, and discoloration. Nothing gets close and it lasts years with cumulative benefit. And my formulation has knocked out risk of unwanted temporary paralysis even getting around the mouth. The one thing this treatment does not do is wrinkles so I use my dynamic fillers for that. You can watch that video.

    • @JoyinFlorida
      @JoyinFlorida 7 місяців тому

      @@samlammd can I ask why you consider threads useless? My lower face (marionettes) need a bit of help along with that general area (I'm 55, thin face to begin with) I'm scheduled next week for threads around those lines along with some tox in my chin and a tiny bit on top of upper lip for lines, then the "fern" technique with filler somewhere in that area as well? You've steered me away from Sculptra, so thank you. I just want to look a bit more rested, not 30 again? Thoughts on threads and if I should be recommending something like this mesotox?? Any input is appreciated ❤

      @@JoyinFlorida in short, I used to do them about 10 years ago or more when they were first popular and they don’t do anything. You cannot actually lift the skin and think you’re going to get anything long-term. Even when I did a full SMAS facelift I couldn’t get sustainable results. Only with the deep plane facelifts can you get a shot at results. I think I shot a video called why thread lifts suck or at least I did a podcast on it. • @samlammd
      @samlammd  Рік тому +4

      If you are not already getting regular Botox, then I would start with that because usually the worst wrinkles are in your upper face. Meso Botox to me is great for someone that already has really good upper face results and is looking to make the entire face look great. If it is within your budget or if you have bad skin for your lower 2/3 of the face then Meso Botox is a great option too.

  • @johnny-mnemonic13
    @johnny-mnemonic13 Рік тому +1

    Hey Doc, thanks for this informative video.. Had no idea Botox helps so much. I only had it on my forehead but didnt like the constraint it has and actually feel my forehead expanded. But I feel it depends on the injector. Also, since you mentioned that Botox helps with skin texture, wrinkkles, etc but not gravity, what treatments are good for gravity (not have face sag?)

    • @samlammd
      @samlammd  Рік тому +5

      The real problem in my opinion is that gravity can only realistically be improved with Surgery. However, a lot of what we think is gravitational really has more to do with volume deflation. I really believe that skin management, volume, and gravity or three independent phenomena. Take a look at my video on this subject where I try to divide into the three categories.

    Do u have a video showing the full range of where u inject. I love doing this treatment and it’s amazing and fun honestly I just wanted to every time I look for a video I only can see people doing bits and pieces you know because it’s so expensive I’m sure people don’t want to treat the whole area, but I am interested in trading my whole face, especially the left side, the driver side because of the sun damage and it’s the area that has the most issue with zag And fine lines and I do one unit normal injections of tox in my eyebrow under my brow and over my brow, so would this be safe to use there as well just to see what kind of a result I would get because that’s the original microdroplet technique right it was just teeny tiny little dots placed all around the eyes, but I can’t find what his dilution wise for that treatment of the eyebrow and eye area I thought that you had a lecture about this a few years ago on your channel but when I type in microbotox, it doesn’t come up. This is not an easy subject to search. Let me tell you I guess with a dilution as low as this it’s just like doing a Botox facial, right Now can this be used at the at the vermilion border of the upper lip to help plump it and do you ever place it on the nose? I do Botox in the nose for the muscles but seems like this would be good for shrinking any bulbous areas and for pores of the nose Seems even in the med publications there are no good full face diagrams

Because it must be placed precisely into the dermis a space that is 2-3 mm thick repeatedly a hundred times per patient. What is the consequence of placing it too deep just below the dermis? A frozen face with no discernible result. Trust me I used to teach fillers and I gave up because a lot of people out there have simply bad hands. Is it as complex as a rhinoplasty or a deep neck lift that I perform? Of course not. The real issue is 99.9% of providers don’t do this because they don’t understand the power of it.
