Ryan brother make it stop. I'm in Southern Indiana and this heat is an outright monster man. Hitting 110 with Tomorrow an Friday to be worse. Speak to the weather gods. we don't want no more. This steel fabricator/WELDER IS ready for SNOW
@@RedPillAlways praying for all the southern states. It's coming. Just a few more days. 😊🙏
@vinnie9477 we appreciate it we're out here dowsings ourselves in water ice around our necks moving slower an praying for that quitting time.. luckily I work 4 10s. So I will be inside in air-conditioning Friday. Will be at 97 an 99 tomorrow and Friday for the heat index of 110 to 112..
Everybody needs to stay hydrated and if you feel bad or something ain't right getting too cool place immediately..
Thanks Ryan for the weather you are the one I watch
I am a FedEx driver in Missouri. The heat is absolutely brutal since we don't have A/C. My local channel has been reporting heat indices of 115-117 since Sunday. Drivers are collapsing each day. It's been kind of scary seeing and hearing drivers clearly showing severe symptoms of heat-related illnesses. I'm so glad I found Ryan's channel so I knew how to prepare ahead of time.
Listen to your body. Hydrate like crazy. I've been drinking around 8-10 liters every day (and still end up slightly dehydrated). Stay safe, y'all, for real!
Lawrence had a heat index of 134 last monday
Wow. I'm glad you know to drink tons of water! So many disregard it. Don't forget to eat some salty stuff too to avoid an electrolyte imbalance. Stay safe out there. Prayers from East TN
I'm so sorry
Please stay safe and hydrated.
You should totally drink that much and drink a couple of bottles of Gatorade in addition. Stay safe.
I'm in Kansas city Missouri and it's been absolutely miserable. My HVAC can't keep up. Classes have been cancelled. No one is outdoors. We are all suffering. I feel terrible for those that don't have homes and are stuck out in this heat or working in it.
I know what you mean, our A/C went out the other day, I'm in north Texas and couldn't get it fixed until the next day, I'm 61 and have suffered a heat stroke when I was 39 and having to spend a day and night without the A/C while temps got to 90 in my house really took a toll on me ! Now I feel sick and dizzy with almost migraine type headache's! This heat is no joke!!!
I'm so sorry to hear that 😞. Do you have a car?? If so please sit in it and cool off with the AC. Find places to chill out during the day, library, home Depot, etc. Also please hydrate with electrolytes. I grind rock salt and put liquid minerals in water and drink that. Been doing it since Saturday. It has helped tremendously. Last summer I still lived in NYC and we terrible heat. I was still recovering from my bone marrow transplant and lived in a bathing suit. I was always coolijg myself down in the shower or putting cold wet rags on me. So I understand how you feel. I pray that you find some relief and start to feel better 🙏🏾
Same in Little Rock.
@russpendergraft5057 yeah my ac unit just isn't big enough for this house in a normal summer day. It's been set at 72 and the house has been staying at 83 84 all week. I've gotten use to the 84 in the house but it still kinda sucks. I'm monitoring my unit to make sure the compressor isn't over heating and shit isn't freezing up. It was 115 heat index and 92 outside at 9pm yesterday. (Of corse the sun isn't setting untill around 8pm) my only salvation is a blower fan for drying floors and paint I have faced towards me to evaporate sweat and about 1 bottle of water a hour
I would like to hear from the climate change deniers.
I'm in eastern central Ohio, about 20 miles south of Canton, OH, and we got hit with a storm last night that was unlike anything I had ever experienced. No tornado watches or warnings were issued that I was aware of, but there were several occasions where I jumped out of bed to see what the weather was doing. It sounded like a freight train was right outside my house. I was ready to wake my family up and move them to an internal room, but no tornado came. Just a severe thunderstorm the likes of which I have never seen before.
Be careful man. Freight train sounds can mean tornado. Have very little time to react. Next time, please get yourself and family to interior room or basement.
Hurricane Hilary rain and wind remnants most likely
@@angelaburcher7570 Hurricanes don’t affect the internal US though only the coasts
Ryan hall yall, shows the jet stream moisture from Hilary being pulled up and across the upper states, I used to live there in Ohio, and a bunch of folks, said that they ain't seen nothing like it either.
Summit county had emergency alarms going off, Cleveland reported circular movements. Tornado warning that circumstances could develop into a tornado. Flood alert etc. nothing happened.
Michigan update...needless to say, we got hit by one of the storms riding the ring, and it hit us hard. Flooded streets, downed trees, about 190,000 DTE customers without power and downed live lines. There's a tree that collapsed on some lines in our backyard, and is hanging right over our yard. We got hit really hard. The water is even dirty, so we can't even use that now. Thanks for the warning, and I wish I saw this yesterday.
Power was out for 36 hours for us near grand rapids and I don't think we even got hit very hard by the tornado
The humidity in the heat dome is making this heat so much worse
Apparently highest humidity levels in Midwest since 1995
I'm 70 years old and this absolutely the hottest weather we have had to endure....Louisiana and we have hot weather but this is beyond hot.....Stay Safe Y'all.
I agree! I'm here in Bossier City, LA. And this heat is something I've never experienced before, and I'm 54.
Don't look up, their only manipulating the weather non-stop for this to happen.
The hottest temperature ever recorded in Louisiana is 110°F on August 19, 1909, according to data from the NOAA.0 The second highest temperature was 108°F on August 20, 1909, and the record hottest day in Lafayette was July 13, 1901, when the temperature hit 107°F. The highest temperature ever recorded in New Orleans, Louisiana is 110°F on August 19, 1909, according to a list of record high temperatures from 1892-2023 based on data from the NOAA.1 However, the highest temperature ever recorded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana history is 110°F on August 19, 1909. As someone in the Ohio Valley, you’re absolutely right. The storm last night was wild and it’s still going. My poor little doggo is freaking out 😐
I live between Dayton and Cincinnati just outside Miamisburg and I slept right through it. But unfortunately it's gonna still feel like 108° today and tomorrow
Louisville and we are dying for a break in the heat
The thunder and lightning in Canton last night was terrible!
there were 6 tornadoes that night too

I truly appreciate the fact that you EXPLAIN the weather and not just tell us what is going to happen.
I am in Kentucky and OMG when you walk outside it feels like there is no oxygen in the air. Wow just wow
Been in a heat dome here in San Antonio for what feels like a couple months now. Been over 100° F. daily since late June.
Same down here in Conroe man, my yard isn’t green anymore, the heat has killed my grass and the surrounding vegetation is dying all around. It’s like my yard went from lushes green to dirt and dead plants. Was outside at midnight the other day, still close to 100 some degrees
That's Texas, every year.😥
Lol don’t worry winter soon to come and tbh I would want a massive cold plunge like last December
Thank goodness it rained yesterday.. and it was cloudy earlier today!!
I'm in sa too
I’m in Austin - it’s hot as hell in Texas
This dry heat has literally set the west coast on fire. It is so smokey here in Oregon. A whole lot of rain would be nice.
Yeah, due to this new pattern we are in, southern Michigan is receiving INSANE amounts of rain. Last night, some areas exceeded 6 inches of rain in a 3-6 hour period maximum. The worst of this CRAZY train of torrential rain hit places hardest south of the city Ann Arbor, and the Willow Run Airport. My place received around 5.25 inches of rain last night! This was the WORST flooding situation I have ever experienced! Some areas aren't as lucky with drainage as I am, and I just hope everyone in more flood prone areas is okay. Thank you for informing us once again Ryan, you are a lifesaver to everyone involved in this crisis! :)
The lightning and thunder was the WORST! The lightning was so hot that it turned red or purple! Thunder and lightning was so LOUD and it was continious. We have never seen this storm like this ever in Southern Michigan. Dangerous weather.
I’m over here just 33 miles northwest of Detroit and we had a horrible thunderstorm just last night too. We had at least 3-4 inches maybe more of rain. Constant lightning and thunderstorms all night. The Weather has been very strange for mid to late summer 🤷🏻♂️
I already was dying of heat today ;-;
I'm in Bolivar Missouri, it's not that bad. I've been ok without Air Conditioning.
literally. at school they made us go outside for about 40 mins to play kickball…and omg i was sweating bullets. it was probably about 96 degrees
It's been a sauna in E'town!!!
In southeastern michigan it was 73 today. Pretty cold imo
Same here. I currently live in Indiana, and the heat has been terrible! Can’t even go outside without breaking into sweat almost instantly. They had to cancel a few sports today because their turf was too hot.
The worst part about it is the humidity. 95F and my glasses get instantly fogged up going outside.
103 degrees and 48% humidity where I am. Glasses were fogging up outside at 5am. Ugh.
@@ticklemebreathless1394 Dew point broke 80 the past couple days, literally more humid than Florida.
A lot of folks find weather forecasts and predictions to be boring. You do a really good job of telling us what we need to know, but also holding our interest while you lay some education on us too. My favorite weather guy!
Here in Houston, we've been hovering between 100-105F for well over a month, and two days ago we saw the first rain within the city limits in all that time. Looking at a high of 107F Sunday afternoon, then still a few days around 100-102F before the cooling really kicks in. The humidity doesn't help, of course, but we're used to that.
You gave me an advanced warning in the ring of fire. So I could save extra money the week before so I could work less hours and be home with my dog so he didn't have to be in his cage om the hot days. My AC just can't keep up with my old rental house so this made it so I can be home and lock us in my room with the window unit
Smart move. Invest in a little battery operated fan in case the power goes out! They say a little breeze makes all the difference in the world.
@@3glitch9 it does I actually have 2 large power banks I got from work because we recycle electronics and they worked perfectly fine. Today's real feel was 107 so not as bad as yesterday.

The graphics help, but he definitely over used that ring of fire thing a bit too much lol. Got his money's worth I guess.
I'm 66 and have lived most of my life in New Orleans, Gulf Coast or FL.
I'm in coastal MS now and I have never been through such heat or dry. Our afternoon semi-tropical rains have vanished, and power goes up 10x per kwh between 3-6 pm.
The heat is oppressive in a way I've never experienced. Vegetation is dead and dry and we are under fire watch today
Global warming is not to be mistaken with and sadly its only going to get worse if nothing is done
It’s been like that for over a month in Texas 😅

I’ve always loved hot weather since my body temperature is lower than normal. But this heatwave is one of the few times I’ve been overheated outside, and I wouldn’t want it to stay despite the heat. On a side note, this video is very interesting!

Pinpoint language?... Comparing weather patterns to roller coasters and "really hungry people"?
Production "values"?

It felt like 120 today, and it's only supposed to get hotter until Saturday 🙃 For those not in the central US, to put this heat wave in perspective, it is currently 1am, and it is 83 degrees with a heat index of 90. Last night, the heat index was over 100 at 10pm. The HIGH in parts of the country, such as California and other places out west, is COLDER than our low for the entire week. It's BRUTAL out here.
I wish everyone well during this time out there. I live in Southern California, and right now (where I live), it is in the high 80s, and lows are in the 60s. This weekend is going to be hotter, but still cooler than what a lot of people are facing. Please stay safe and watch out for each other.

just woke up in NW OH and it was constant lightning and rain with some thunder. It was different. Slept through the majority of it. Lots of flooding in library parking lot next door but the vernal pool is only at 10% capacity.
I love weather. The more events, the better!
I'm in central Texas. We desperately need the rain! So good to see some potential relief coming next week. We've been stuck hot and dry since the first week of June.
I'm so over!
Same area here, and luckily we got some rain yesterday. It poured for 10-15 minutes and the temperature dropped by 12 degrees. It was beautiful.
yeah the sky has forgotten how to rain and the sun is more intense now than ever, I can see why human's were sacrificed back in the day
💯💯
I’m in St. Louis and twice this week I have had poor birds die in my yard-a barn swallow and a small goldfinch. The barn swallow just fell out of the sky while I was getting my mail, and the little finch fluttered down from a tree and keeled over. It is so brutal here.
Put big low containers out in the shade..Put a flat rock near the edge.
The avian flu is out there too, still.
I’m from Florissant as my hometown. We’ve had some bad summers there and the humidity ☹️
Can you put a bird 🐦 bath out for them?
😥 for the animals too. They don't have air-conditioning like humans do. I put solid frozen bottles of water in my dogs water bowls 2-3 times a day. They are under shade trees and I water down the area's. I check on my animals all day because the heat is brutal. Well over 100° everyday. Please look out for the elderly and small children/infants. Animals and pets need our help and kindness too.
You nailed this. I live in southwest Ohio and we are getting slammed with storms.
Here in coastal FL. It's brutally hot & humid here. Hvac can't keep up. Stay safe all❤
I watch these in hopes that you tell us we have a huge cold front coming in and fall will be here. 😩
We're lucking out here in Michigan with highs topping out around 90F and in the 70s starting Friday for the next 10 days. Thank you Great Lakes.
Sure hope so .
I live in Oklahoma and it is so hot ! Looking forward to the cool down
i live in the ohio river valley and my husband was super confused to wake up at 5am in the middle of a blazing drought/heat wave to find pouring rain and winds wreacking havoc on our garden. we are now sadly short of some pots and veggies (things uprooted straight from the dirt and 40lb pots blown over) but at least everyone is safe!! crazy weather
We went to an air show in Gardner ks this last weekend, it felt like 116 degrees!! 6 people hospitalized, 100s treated for heat exhaustion. Take care of yourselves out there folks!
I was at the billy Joel Stevie nicks concert at Arrowhead stadium in Kansas city Missouri on Saturday. I was really questioning my life that night. I love Billy Joel but I was hoping that would have cancelled that concert. There not a breeze to be found. The stadium was practically sold out. I sweated from start to finish. Everyone was hot but we tried to make the best of it. I pregamed but sweated out the alcohol. I was just drinking pure water. I don't understand the people chugging beer after beer. Many were taken out in stretchers. It was a great concert but I will never go to an outdoor event in Missouri in the summer. 🥵
Air show??? I
To see air???
😂
This Summer here in Florida has been especially brutal, and that's saying a lot. 😓
in kansas not only was there triple digit temps but the humidity from storms we havent gotten makes it suffocating just a wall of heat like your standing in front of an oven.
as someon smack center PA the weather has been chaos as the curve is pushing storms in the mountain ranges they normaly wouldnt, sometimes getting stuck ot pushed away, its been an intresting show for someone that has personal weather memories of the area for 30 some yrs
The heat was killing me today and thank you for a update
Where?
In northeast Illinois and was 90 to 100 degrees for our high on that day
I'm in NW Tennessee, and the heat literally makes you feel like you're suffocating when coming from inside to outside.
Thats more the toxic asphalt evaporation.
I live in Lake County, IL and I feel so bad for the birds/other animals that count on rain water for their bodies/drinking water. I saw them dunking in the nastiest bits of water that had oil in it I just don’t want them to have to do that
This summer has had everything now in Michigan. Spring drought, thick wildfire smoke, a cool wet midsummer, then the recent bout of ungodly humidity followed by Texas-style storms with massive winds and tornadoes. I wasn’t sure there was going to even be a legit thunderstorm at all this summer. Super boring weather right up until late August, then all hell breaks lose Wednesday night. Power is just being restored today.
Power outages in heat like that could have devastating consequences for vulnerable people
That kind of heat can induce seizures in people with epilepsy.
That's why people need to voluntarily use less energy. Keep air conditioning at least 75 or higher. It's not that bad. Better than 100 plus.
I'm so glad I found your channel! I live in Huntsville, Alabama, and I have joked for years about how the weather here changes on a moment's notice. Particularly with snow. We will have a forecast for 2-3 inches so everybody raids the grocery store, but in the end, we get nothing. I grew up near the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee and I am used to some snowfall every year. Anyway, I love that you tell it like it is, the good and bad.
Keep up the great work!
I'm in Florence and I always hated when no snow turned up. But we've had some doozies when it has hit.
I wish we would have a doozy. I am not getting any younger (62), haha.
Im quite pumped to hear that the weather around here should change soon. Brutal last couple summers in cen tex
Houston here. This is fine. Everything is fine. 🌞
