Terrific! Right innovation for the new generation! I bought this Grinder from coimbatore. It's amazing.. It's made grinding so easy and so quick. The whole unit is so compact and comparatively very light which makes it easy to handle. The one thing that madam missed to explain, was the smoothness of its running. It's run by a gear wheel technology and it makes almost no or nil noise while running.. I'm sure it's an excellent product by my personal experience! Maybe the price could be a little more consumer friendly!. Quality wise it's outstanding!! I've used it now for at least a hundred times.. Fantastic usage!! Maybe this same product will soon be released by corporates like Prestige with a price tag of 12,000/- Rupees.. This product needs better recognition.. Certainly!

1. What is the capacity before grinding, and how much will the container capacity be after addition of water.
2 how do we regulate the coarseness or fineness of the grinding.
3 Is this grinder only for idli /dosa batter or can we use for other purposes as well

c.s.pattabi. The grinder is very slow and not good rice after is not satisfed
The grinder doesn't come with 2 valves for batter and water anymore. There's only one now. Their customer support is terrible. I have been trying to get them to correct a problem I have with the new grinder (one of the four suction cups at the bottom of the legs has been damaged). But they have been dodging without giving a solution. They are not even picking up when I call. Once you buy, you are on your own. Don't expect any support.
How is the grinder performance? Is the batter getting heated up? Pl reply

Grinder is a typical south Indian machine. Even it's not used in north india. May be now they will be using. In 80s 90s north indian doesn't know what is grinder. Infact Coimbatore lakshmi grinders invented this machine! So no wonder it's an upgrade of their product! Coimbatore is best known wet grinder industry also! Ithula chinese kellam velaye ila!
