Jeremy Corbyn, who was recently re-elected as an MP, gave a speech at a large pro-Palestine rally in London.
The MP sent a strong message to the government, saying they should reflect on how the total vote achieved by all of the Labour candidates on Thursday, was less than what was achieved in the last two general elections.
Corbyn also said they 'should have taken the opportunity they had to speak out, stand up and say cease fire now in Gaza'.

The Britishers should be mindful about the policies that the Starmer Government is going to take up rather than wasting time in analysing the defeat of the Conservative party and their bickerings in the social media.
The public has a responsibility not to get swayed by the hostile media supported by some foreign vested interests. It's imperative to support the ruling government they have voted to power because a stable government ushers in a new era of progress and development.
Gaza ceasefire issue is not a Muslims issue at all. It’s now been an humanity matter. Western blind eyes on it harts peoples and obviously Muslims. But It’s affecting all mainstream political institutions. Millions protestors on street are not only Muslims but from all corners of the society.
People forget there is a small Arab Christian population there too. Unfortunately many have emigrated unable to live under Israel’s brutal occupation.
