The Domain is back with another Halo Infinite Mega Construx video!
Halo has partnered with Mattel to produce Mega Bloks / Mega Construx toys for over 15 years. This has spanned the release of Halo Wars, Halo Reach and Halo 4-Infinite. With this, they have produced thousands of toys and tens of thousands of pieces.
Mega Brands was formed back in 1967 out of Montreal, Canada. In 2009, they acquired the licence for Halo, originally branded it as "Halo Wars: the Authentic Collectors Series". Soon after, this was dropped to just "Halo Mega Bloks", before its third rebrand into "Halo Mega Construx", a more adult take on the licence. This lasted up until roughly 2021, with a final rebrand into simply "Halo Mega". What comes next for the brand? Only time will tell...
Halo Infinite was delayed from 2020 to 2021. In that time and after it has seen a multitude of issues and delays, but at the heart of this lies a true return to form and a gorgeous campaign. Halo Infinite Season 1 and 2 had a long extended life but Season 3 returned to the original promise of 3 month long seasons. With the return of Forge, Halo Infinite seemed to be in a largely completed form. Season 4 and 5 hit hard, with excellent releases of Firefight KOTH, Infection and dozens of quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, the seasonal format would come to an end with the Spirit of Fire update, dropping the formula all together to be replaced by operations. It's hard to say what the future holds for Halo, but you better believe I'll be along for the ride.

Halo, Halo Mega, and the SSmotion has been with me since I was 12 years old. I struggled with depression and other issues and I can confidently say that the Halo community, 343 and mega, saved my life. It gave me a purpose that I needed. I built dioramas that my parents would allow me to display proudly on the kitchen counter, the center piece of our little home. Family and guests alike were intirgued and I would build a new diorama every month or two. I would share them in Halo chatrooms and forums. Diorama building became me. I grew to 16 years old an toys were no longer 'cool'. The new thing was friends, cars, girls, school and sports, lile every other teen. My depression resurfaced, after an attempt of harm I was taken out of school. At 18 I rediscovered your channel during covid, and I dusted off my old toys from the attic. I built dioramas again and started to play Halo again. It brought me back, little Beriothien was back and happy. My parents saw a smile on my face again. I discovered the reddit and discord communities where I can share my enjoyment of the franchise with others. And here I am now: Beriothien.

Even though halo has been going through a rough time and so has mega construx in recent years, it still makes me very happy to see the passion people still have for Halo Mega. I loved the days where i could walk into target and toys r us and see entire sections dedicated to Halo Mega Bloks sets. I doubt those days will ever return but it is great to see how much passion there is here.
You never know if those days aren’t just around the corner. Regardless, we will stick together

Please consider talking about some of your favorite past memories and experiences with Halo, and try to remember that we all love you for the kind of person you are, not for way a video is edited, or how perfect a camera angle is etc. Enjoy your craft, and enjoy what makes you love the art of it all so much.

You should keep doing these competitions/challenges. Maybe more collaborations with other mega/halo UA-camrs. I would love to see reviews on some sets you haven't done because sometimes I need a second or even a third opinion when I'm thinking about buying a certain set.

Hey man, I haven't been here for very long but from what I've seen this is one of the most resilient communities I've ever seen, and collecting the old and new sets and playing every game reach-4 has been a joy, just the other day I bought a lot of the odst ambush, original scorpion tank, and original pelican and they are some of my favorite builds I've done. I used to mainly buy and collect lego, still do. But buying and collecting mega feels so much different because it requires more work to do, with distribution and all. I just got here and it would be a shame to see you leave before things just got good.
P.s: please get on that resale service things are bad here.

hi simon! i’ve been a fan for about 2 years, and you got me into mega. i am in the UK and i’m a young collector at the age of 14. i feel old mega is very accessible yes, but i cannot get new/newish stuff! i really dream about the halo heroes hyperius figure, and halo 5 spartans, but just can’t get hands on them due to price! maybe you can make a UK store? idk if you already do, and if you do i’ve yapped, a lot, but if not i’d love to buy from you, if a store is to be made.
