Day Out, Baytree Owl & Wildlife Centre - Siberian Owl, Harris Hawk, Baby Kestral, Red-legged seriema

A Day Out at Baytree Owl and Bird of Prey Wildlife Centre, Close up displays of the Siberian Eagle Owl, Harris Hawk, Baby Kestral, Barn Owl, the road runner Red-legged Seriema, and the fox cub. We enjoyed the demonstration of the birds flying and their way of life clearly explained in the polytunnel, here is a few photos and video clips of our visit. We enjoyed being inside the polytunnel as we were close to the birds and could feel them as they flew past, they also sat on the benches next to us. The staff were very friendly and very informative with a good knowledge of the birds.
There were many unusual birds at the centre, some sat on their nests, some young and others elderly as they lived longer in captivity. The weather was wet and windy, so we hope to visit again on a warm dry day.
