Silent thru hiking 85 miles from the Mexican Border to Lordsburg with captions of authors private thoughts. This was an unforgettable part on the Continental Divide Trail. This desert stretch posed brutal challenges, especially under the relentless sun, compounded by the fact that I carried all my video equipment in my backpack. Water sources were scarce, requiring cautious management at every water cache. However, despite the harsh conditions, the desert proved to be a captivating landscape, teeming with life and beauty. I watched other people starting from the PCT, AT, and CDT, but it's always the CDT ones which seem to impresses me the most.

I agree. I have thru hiked pct and first halfnof cdt and cdt is way much better start of an adventure. Itbis harsh, lonesome and adventurous. I loved it 😄
