I have a set, and I agree that they want to launch. But, I have not struggled keeping them down. I have always been a good wedge player, but these have taken my 120 and in game to a great place. Down from 9 to 6 with these in three months…

Just in time for me to look into new wedges.
I am currently a 6 handicap and I put these wedges into my bag about 6 months ago. We spend money on irons, drivers, hybrids, fairway woods, and putters that are more forgiving. So why not use a more forgiving set of wedges? They are after all called "scoring clubs". With this in mind I decided to test these out and what I found was that these wedges should be called "Distance dispersion killers". Meaning that if you hit these clubs to a set yardage - if you mishit them you won't lose as much distance -and that's the difference between hitting the green or landing in a bunker or worse yet - water. I personally think this is the best bang for you $$$'s as far as helping your game. While it's true that the lob wedge could be a little more versatile - (open it up more) most golfer (85% don't need it) for me I just ground down and added a little more relief so I can open up the lob wedge abit more and reduce the height of the leading edge. best wedge more about 85% of all golfers.
These wedges look really good behind the ball with the brushed chrome finish. More forgiving than a bladed wedge.
I had one of the original Edison wedges in 53 degrees and the grooves wore out really fast. Very noticeable after half a season.
I have a 50 , actually 2 of them. One in CT , one in FL. The sole I’d very versatile. And them spin. Can easily hit low spinner, and mid height. Looking to get more, but a tad pricey
I have a 59 degree Edison wedge (original version). The main reason I no longer use it is because their limited shaft options required me to get a much heavier shaft than I have in the rest of my irons so I never felt completely comfortable with it on full swings.
Definitely one of the limitations we can see in the DTC club space!
I bought the head only and put much own shaft in and saved $$

As I always say, one can never have too many wedges

Are you sure they don’t launch high because of the shaft? The club head design is supposed to launch them LOW
It’s the same shaft I use and test all wedges with 🤷🏼♂️. The clubhead design is definitely intended to launch them low “in theory”. But there’s many variables at play from swing to swing that can change things
A lot of people that need forgiveness have trouble hitting high enough, I bet a lot of people would really love these
