As someone who has worked for a moving/cabinet delivery/flooring delivery for over a decade since I was 14. I remember people always doubting me, I knew why 5’6” back then 100lbs, makes sense to doubt. But doing it all day every day, I could lift pianos and walk with them, the lifting isn’t necessarily the hard part, now you gotta walk out a door with it. My favourite thing to happen was we were doing a small move for an older gentleman, he had a baby grand piano and didn’t think I could carry it with my boss so he got his neighbour body builder to come carry it. He could lift it fine but struggled to take a step, he just couldn’t cause he didn’t train for that. The look on their faces when I pick it up and walk out the door with it down the few front steps was priceless.
