- We made our final day in Dublin count by hitting up some of the best local pubs in town! We heard so many talented Irish folk musicians, ate some great local foods and drank tasty beer! What an awesome way to cap off our trip to Ireland.

Absolute love how you move from ancient library , to ancient pub , daft punk , and The Clarence …..you have it all covered !! You two just go with the flow at every turn ……not sure I could wear half my wardrobe on a plane and check something so valuable!

Odd situation with the instrument. I have travelled into and out of Dublin twice with a Mandolin in a hard case. I was able to just put it in the overhead and treat it like a carryon. I can see issues with large guitars, but not what you were bringing. My next trip will be Paris to Dublin on Aer Lingus and then Dublin to Dallas on AA.
Yeah, we were surprised as well. Ryanair said it's their policy and there was no way around it. Kind've a bummer but at least we made our flight and the guitar arrived unharmed!

We passed through and picked up our rental vehicle there, but didn't have enough time to visit longer.

It's just what ya gotta do....when in Rome...err...Dublin.
Bangers and mash is more British than Irish, but since the most popular dish in Ireland is probably pizza or chicken curry, you could say we've adopted this as well :)
Would never have thought the most popular dish in Ireland is chicken curry! You learn something new everyday ;)
The potatoes 🥔 come with almost every dish in Ireland.

Hey Geraldine! We drove through Belfast to pick up and drop off our rental car...but didn't have enough time to properly explore it during this trip. It looked beautiful though!

All those pubs were theme pubs or were putting on their best Irish show for the tourists
Ah...if you say so :) We absolutely loved the experiences we had and saw so many talented Irish musicians. I think it felt pretty darn authentic.
There is no Uber in Ireland
We learned this our first day there. However, we were still able to call a taxi through our Uber app so it works the same.
